Abstract

The increasing of sexual violence cases in Higher Education has made Project Multatuli, a non-profit alternative media based on public journalism, with the Student Press to conduct collaborative journalism to highlight this. This article aims to describe the implementation of collaborative journalism, by Project Multatuli together with LPM Institut, LPM Bhaskara, and Pers Akademika related to news coverage of sexual violence on campus. The type of research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Abstract

In today's digital era, the integration of social media into organizational communication practices is essential. The research aimed to assess the extent of social media adoption for internal communication, identify the platforms predominantly used, and evaluate their impact on communication efficacy within  organizations Qualitative research methodology was adopted to capture a comprehensive view of social media usage in three organizations. Data were gathered through face-to-face interviews and focus group discussions with 48 participants, purposively sampled, employing thematic analysis to distill the insights. The findings reveal a selective adoption of platforms such as Slack and WhatsApp. While some employees embrace these digital tools, others persist with traditional methods. This contrast highlights reluctance within organizations to fully transition to digital communication tools. The study recommends that organizations strengthen digital literacy programs, establish clear usage policies, and foster an environment that balances innovative digital practices with established communication protocols.

Abstract

This research examines how Republika Online and Kompas.com frame the naturalized players of the Indonesian national team through text analysis. The phenomenon of player naturalization has become a controversial issue in Indonesian society along with PSSI's policy of massively recruiting players of Indonesian descent to strengthen the national team. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki framing analysis model. The study reveals that both Republika Online and Kompas.com frame the coverage of Indonesian national team's naturalized players positively. However, the difference lies in Republika Online's use of assertive editorial content, while Kompas.com reports the momentum comprehensively and straightforwardly, without using the editorial term "naturalized players."
