Abstract

This article aims to determine the differences in risk management between Islamic banking and conventional banking and the importance of risk management in the company. The article was created using a qualitative method by obtaining sources from literature studies in the form of books, journals, websites, and other supporting sources related to the article. In risk management, both banks have differences, namely in the risks applied, in conventional banking, namely Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Legal Risk, Strategic Risk, Compliance Risk, Reputation Risk which are different in Islamic banking risk management, there are additional Return Risk and Investment Risk (equity investment risk). In the practice of Islamic banking risk management based on sharia principles by ensuring that all transactions and operations are in accordance with sharia such as the prohibition of usury, gharar, and maysir and using contracts in every transaction. While in conventional banking, the focus is on maintaining the bank's financial health by minimizing losses due to bad debts and interest rate fluctuations.

Abstract

The operation of this sharia bank cannot be separated from the demands of implementing good corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance) hereinafter referred to as GCG. This research uses a type of literature study or literature review with data collection methods using two approaches, namely library research and internet searches. The literature that is the focus of this research are journals and articles that are directly related to Good Corporate Governance (GCG). In the process of searching on the internet, researchers can use various methods such as searching, browsing, or downloading to obtain the information needed according to the research objectives. The databases used when searching for research journals are Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, and Researchgate. The Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) is tasked with supervising banking operations and sharia banking products according to Sharia principles. DPS must ensure that GCG principles are implemented in all aspects and at all levels of the company. Through the effective implementation of sharia GCG, sharia banking not only gains public trust, but also builds a solid foundation for the growth of the sharia financial industry by combining ethical and balanced financial values.

Abstract

The application of Islamic economic principles in a country can increase the country's economic growth which in practice will bring benefits to the people as a whole. Abstract

Islamic banking in encouraging sustainable development through Islamic financial instruments, namely ZISWAF in the Southeast Asia region. This study uses a qualitative method by using literature studies as references and obtaining sources through journals, books, websites, and other supporting sources. The results of the study state that Islamic Banking plays an important role in encouraging sustainable development in Southeast Asia through the ZISWAF mechanism (Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Wakaf). The implementation of which must be based on sharia principles such as the prohibition of usury and emphasizing social justice makes Islamic banking in line with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Although it has an important role, there are challenges both from society and the government, for this reason coordination is needed between the two and maintaining relations with countries in the Southeast Asia region in order to find a middle ground.​

Abstract

Ekonomi berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu fokus pengembangan ekonomi yang banyak dilakukan oleh negara-negara di dunia. Namun dalam penerapannya, nilai-nilai islam menjadi salah satu penilaian yang digunakan untuk memaksimalkan hal tersebut. penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data studi literatur sehingga bisa menyusun argumentasi yang berhubungan dengan nilai syariah dalam green business yang bisa memaksimalkan Ekonomi Berkelanjutan dan Beretika. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa dalam perspektif islam, green business menjadi salah satu implikasi yang sedang diperhatikan, mengingat kompetisi bisnis semakin meningkat sehingga penerapan bisnis yang baik dan beretika menjadi hal yang perlu dikaji terus menerus.
