Abstract

The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. Difficulties experienced by some students in learning social studies can be listed as difficulties in understanding lessons, inadequateconcentration in studying, insufficient encouragement, lack of sense of need in learning, difficulties inremembering subject materials, insufficient student’s attention in learning activities, absence of the useof storytelling model learning to improve public speaking, and the low learning outcomes in socialstudies subjects. The storytelling learning model is believed to be able to improve student’s publicspeaking ability. The subjects in this study were students of class IX in the 2019/2020 school year atSMPN 1 Peusangan. Based on the results, it can be seen that there is an increase in the students' publicspeaking ability after the implementation of the story-telling learning model. The results show that theaverage value of individual mastery increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle, the averageindividual mastery value is 73% (16 students), while 27% (6 students) did not reach mastery levelrequirement. In the second cycle, there was an increase in individual mastery; all of 22 students reachedthe mastery level requirement. Based on the increase in individual and classical mastery values, theapplication of the story-telling learning model contributes to improve student’s public speaking ability.Since the mastery values are 90%, the study was only carried out until the second cycle. Based on theresults, it can be concluded that there were positive changes which were marked by the presence ofmany students who were happy and interested in following the story-telling strategy. The percentage ofstudents' positive responses to public speaking was 95,46 %. Meanwhile, the average negative responseof students was 4.54%. This shows that the story-telling learning model is in demand by students.Keywords: Public Speaking, Storytelling Learning Model

Abstract

BUMG is a business entity intended for the welfare of the community. If BUMG management is carried out well, it will be very beneficial for all people, but if it cannot be managed properly, it will not have an impact on the welfare of the community. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching and studying more deeply about this. To obtain data, the data collection techniques that the authors use are in two ways, namely library research and field research consisting of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The research method that the author uses is a qualitative method using alternative answers on a Likert scale. The population in this study were all the people of Gampong Suak Sigadeng, West Aceh District. And the sample is 100 people. Based on the results of the research that the researchers have done, it can be concluded that the existence of BUMG influences the welfare of the community in Gampong Suak Sigadeng, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. respondents who answered strongly disagree and disagree (S+SS > STS+TS) with an average percentage of 78.36% > 4.12%. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran ekonomi.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitian PTK. Jumlah populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 97 responden dengan teknik sampel yaitu total sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan datanya berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data regesi sederhana dengan mengukur uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil penelitian diperoleh variabel motivasi belajar dengan nilai thitung sebesar 2,676 dan ttabel pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 (uji 1 sisi) sebesar 1.67655, menunjukkan bahwa thitung> ttabel (2,676<1.67655), artinya varibel motivasi berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen dalam mata pelajaran ekonomi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulan bahwa penelitian ini menerima hipotesis Ha.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh laba penyertaan modal pada perusahaan milik daerah terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) di Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang dilihat dari laporan realisasi Anggaran Pendapatan Atau Penerimaan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) pada tahun 2007-2019 dari Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah (BPKD) Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linear sederhana, yaitu Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) sebagai Y dan Laba Penyertaan Modal pada BUMD sebagai X. Hasil pengujian secara individual menunjukkan variabel laba penyertaan modal mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan (0,002 < 0,050) atau nilai thitung > ttabel atau 3,479 > 2,201). Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis koefisien korelasi dan determinasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi Adjusted bernilai 0,790 dan menghasilkan R2 (R square) sebesar 0,766 yang dapat diartikan bahwa 76,6 persen dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel laba penyertaan modal sedangkan sisanya sebesar 23,4 persen dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar model penelitian seperti investasipablik dan swasta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa pelajaran ekonomi pada materi peran pelaku ekonomi kelas X MAS Darul Ulum Al-waliyah”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif yaitu penelitian yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti populasi atau sampel tertentu dengan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Adapun rancangan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pretest posttest control groub desain yaitu menggunakan siswa sebagai objek penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XA sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelaran Quantum Teaching dan siswa kelas XB sebagai kelas control yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konversional. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat empat uji instrument penelitian yaitu uji validitas, reabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan uji daya beda. Adapun tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, test (pre test dan post test) serta dokumentasi. Sedangkan tehnik analisis data diperoleh bahwa apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa pelajaran ekonomi pada materi peran pelaku ekonomi. Dengan demikian Hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima atau disetujui, sedangkan (Ho) ditolak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan statistic dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre test kelas eksperimen sebesar 56.25 dan jumlah nilai rata-rata post test 80.00. sedangkan untuk kelas control menggunakan aplikasi SPSS menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre test sebesar 57.50 dan nilai rata-rata post test 68.75 dapat disimpulkan bahwa keduanya memiliki nilai yang tidak jauh berbeda.

Abstract

This study was motivated by findings on the implementation of the "Merdeka Curriculum" by Social Studies (teachers in Junior High School (JHS) in Bireuen Regency, where performance in teaching and learning responsibilities did not meet expectations. This was evident from the lack of analysis of learning evaluation results and the failure to implement 21st-century framework-based learning, which emphasizes student-centered teaching, critical thinking, and innovation. The research aims to 1) analyze the effect of work motivation on the work discipline of Social Studies teachers in JHS in Bireuen Regency; and 2) examine the combined effects of work motivation and discipline on their performance. The study involved 52 Social Studies teachers in Bireuen Regency, selected using Slovin's formula. Path analysis using SPSS was applied as the analytical technique, and the research employed a causal descriptive approach to investigate direct and indirect relationships between variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The findings revealed that 1) work motivation significantly influences the work discipline of Social Studies teachers, indicating that improving teacher motivation enhances their discipline; and 2) work motivation and discipline significantly affect teacher performance, suggesting that enhancing both factors can improve the performance of Social Studies teachers in JHS in Bireuen Regency.

Abstract

With the intention of informing the public about the application of Islamic economics in the financial system and its benefits for the country and society. This article is conducted with a literature review whose sources are obtained from books, articles, websites, and other supporting sources. The application of Islamic economic principles in a country can increase the country's economic growth which in practice will bring benefits to the people as a whole. The importance of implementing Islamic economics in the modern financial system so that its innovations can also improve society in the application and use of the modern Islamic financial system.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ creative thinking skills in economics subject. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class taught using PjBL and a control class taught using conventional methods. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test administered in both pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. Independent sample t-test analysis confirmed that the difference was statistically significant. These findings indicate that PjBL can serve as an effective alternative learning model to improve students’ creative thinking skills, particularly in economics learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Probing Prompting learning model on students' critical thinking skills in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design was employed. The study involved two classes: the experimental class, which received treatment using the Probing Prompting model, and the control class, which was taught using conventional methods. Research instruments included pre-tests and post-tests that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis involved normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent t-tests. The results showed a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental and control classes. The average post-test score of the experimental class (77.21) was higher than that of the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Probing Prompting learning model has a significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills in economics subjects.
