Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making within modern organizational environments. Using a descriptive qualitative approach supported by an extensive literature review of academic journals, policy documents, and previous empirical studies, this research offers a comprehensive evaluation of how MIS influences managerial processes. The findings reveal that the implementation of MIS significantly enhances decision-making effectiveness by ensuring the availability of accurate, relevant, and timely information needed at various organizational levels. MIS also facilitates structured data processing, analytical reporting, and real-time monitoring, which strengthen strategic decision-making and reduce uncertainty. In addition, MIS contributes to improving decision-making efficiency by accelerating the flow of information, minimizing administrative errors, and reducing operational costs through the automation of routine tasks and standardized workflows. Moreover, MIS supports collaboration and communication by enabling integrated data access across departments, thereby reducing information silos and improving organizational responsiveness. In conclusion, MIS plays an essential and transformative role in shaping a fast, accurate, data-driven, and adaptive decision-making system, particularly for modern organizations operating in a dynamic and competitive digital era.

Abstract

The development of information technology systems has undergone universal changes and transformations, significantly impacting business processes within organizations. One notable example is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which has rapidly evolved and been widely adopted by various organizations. ERP is an integrated system used to manage business processes comprehensively within an organization. This study aims to explore and analyze how ERP implementation can enhance organizational performance and support more effective decision-making through a qualitative literature review approach. Data and theories were collected from various sources such as academic journals, scientific articles, and research reports discussing the relationship between ERP and organizational management. The analysis reveals that ERP usage improves operational efficiency, enhances data transparency, and strengthens coordination among units within the company. With real-time data integration, decision-makers obtain accurate and timely information, making the decision-making process more effective, efficient, and targeted. Additionally, ERP helps optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs, positively impacting performance improvement and quality decision-making within the organization. However, the success of ERP implementation heavily depends on organizational readiness, top management support, and human resource capabilities. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic planning and effective change management to maximize the benefits of ERP implementation on organizational performance and decision-making.

Abstract

E-learning is a learning process that leverages technological advancements to facilitate educational activities through online platforms. Within this system, a variety of digital tools and features are provided for both students and lecturers, enabling effective communication, interaction, discussion, and feedback throughout the learning process. These tools—such as discussion forums, virtual classrooms, chat functions, and online assessment features—create an environment that supports active participation and continuous engagement. The availability of such comprehensive facilities not only simplifies the learning process but also enhances comfort, reduces feelings of boredom, and increases students’ overall motivation to learn. The findings of the study demonstrate that e-learning has a substantial and significant impact on students’ learning motivation. This conclusion is supported by the statistical results, where the significance value of 0.000 is below the threshold of 0.05, indicating a meaningful relationship. Additionally, the t-test value of 11.737 exceeds the t-table value of 2.02439, further confirming the significant influence of e-learning on motivation. The R Square value of 77.3% indicates that e-learning contributes strongly to the variance in students’ learning motivation, while the remaining 22.7% is shaped by other external factors not examined in the study. Overall, these results highlight the important role of e-learning in enhancing motivation and improving the quality of learning experiences.

Abstract

Rapid advances in information technology have triggered significant transformation in the business sector, especially in the development and application of Management Information Systems (MIS). One of the most notable changes in this digital era is the integration of Big Data, which reshapes how organizations interpret market patterns and consumer behavior. As companies increasingly rely on data-driven strategies, Big Data becomes a critical tool for forecasting future trends and designing competitive business models. This study seeks to analyze the impact of Big Data integration in MIS on predictive capabilities and marketing strategies within the Indonesian business context in 2025. Using a descriptive qualitative method supported by a literature review from 13 national and international journal sources, the research reveals that Big Data effectively enhances consumer analytics accuracy, improves decision-making efficiency, and supports more targeted and personalized marketing. Nevertheless, the implementation process faces several constraints, such as limited digital expertise, data integration difficulties, and concerns related to privacy, ethics, and cybersecurity. Therefore, this study concludes that the success of Big Data adoption relies not only on technological readiness but also on organizational capability, regulatory support, and a strong digital mindset.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation has significantly influenced shifts in consumer behavior, especially among Generation Z, who are recognized as the most active digital and internet users in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between Generation Z’s online shopping behavior and the development of digital payment innovations using a library research approach. A total of 25 scientific articles indexed in Google Scholar, OJS Indonesia, and DOAJ published between 2019 and 2024 were reviewed to obtain relevant insights. The findings reveal that Generation Z values speed, convenience, personalization, and security when making online purchases. These expectations have accelerated the adoption of digital payment platforms such as e-wallets, QRIS, and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL). The increasing reliance on these payment methods does not only facilitate transactions but also supports broader digital financial inclusion across Indonesia. Furthermore, the growing demand from Generation Z encourages financial institutions and fintech companies to continuously innovate, particularly in enhancing cybersecurity features, optimizing service efficiency, reducing transaction fees, and ensuring seamless integration with e-commerce platforms. Generation Z’s online shopping behavior plays a strategic role in shaping the evolution of digital payment systems in Indonesia and will continue to influence future financial technology developments

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to the emergence of chatbots that use Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an innovation in customer service management information systems. This study aims to explain how AI-based chatbots are used to improve service effectiveness and company operational efficiency. The method used is an analysis of various relevant sources. The results show that chatbots are capable of providing fast, responsive, and 24-hour service, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and reducing company operational costs. However, chatbots still have shortcomings in understanding user sentiment and require regular system updates. Overall, the implementation of AI-based chatbots has a positive impact on improving service quality and the effectiveness of management information management.

Abstract

The challenges of implementing Manajemen Information System in the digital era are increasingly complex with thke rapid development of information technology. Various obstacles arise, such as limited technologically literate human resources, diffiiculties integrating legacy and new system, high implementation costs, resistance to change, and data security and privacy issue. Meanwhile, technological advances such as cloud computing, artificial intelligencel, and big data analytics require organizations to continuously adapt and improve their digital competencies. The success of Manajemen Information System implementation depends heavily on leadership support, ongoing training, and effective change management. Through proper implementation, Management Information Systems can improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making quality, while strengthening organizational competitiveness amidst the ever-evolving digital transformation.

This situation illustrates the digital economy’s crucial role in strengthening competitiveness, expanding market access, and increasing the efficiency of economic activity. Furthermore, the rapid growth of the digital economy also demands infrastructure readiness, system security, and adaptive regulations to ensure its positive impacts are sustainable. Abstract

This research goals to analyze the impact of business feasibility studies on the business development strategy of Fore Coffee. A business feasibility study is an important managerial instrument used to evaluate the viability of a business prior to its development or expansion. A comprehensive feasibility assessment is predicted to assist management in formulating appropriate and sustainable business development strategies. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The independent variable the business feasibility study, which is measured through nine aspects: legal, market and marketing, technical and operational, management and human resources, financial, social, economic, environmental, sharia aspects. The dependent variable is the business development strategy. Surveys were conducted through the use of questionnaires featuring a Likert scale directed at participants pertinent to the study topic. The gathered data underwent linear regression analysis to assess the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The outcomes indicate that business feasibility studies have a positive significant effect on the business development strategy of Fore Coffee. This finding suggests that the better the implementation and fulfillment of business feasibility aspects, the more effective the business development strategies formulated and applied by management. This analysis is believed to add value to the management academic community and practically serve as a consideration for business practitioners in developing sustainable business strategies.
