Abstract

The Management Information System (MIS) is a key strategic element for organizations in the digital age, functioning to process data into accurate information to support decision-making and competitiveness. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the role of Management Information System (MIS) in enhancing work efficiency. The findings indicate that Management Information System (MIS) improves efficiency through process automation and facilitates superior data-driven decision-making. However, the implementation of Management Information System (MIS) faces significant obstacles, notably the limited availability of technological facilities and the lack of human resource (HR) competence in operating the system. Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) play an increasingly significant role in enhancing the quality of healthcare services. This research explores how MIS improves the management of patient data, focusing on faster information access, improved data accuracy, and smoother coordination across medical units. Through literature review and observation of MIS usage in several healthcare facilities, the study reveals that MIS reduces data entry mistakes, accelerates service delivery, and strengthens the protection of patient data. In addition, MIS facilitates clinical decision-making by offering well-organized and easily retrievable information for healthcare staff. In conclusion, the study highlights that effective MIS utilization greatly contributes to achieving patient data management that is more efficient, clear, and sustainable in healthcare environments.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in supporting organizational decision-making processes in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review method, the research examines various theories, functions, and applications of MIS across different sectors. The findings indicate that MIS plays a crucial role in providing accurate, relevant, and timely information for managers to formulate, implement, and evaluate both strategic and operational decisions. Furthermore, MIS enhances the effectiveness of Decision Support Systems (DSS) by reducing uncertainty and improving decision quality. The study emphasizes that the successful implementation of MIS depends Not only on the technology used but also on the readiness of human resources and the supporting organizational structure. Therefore, an effective MIS implementation can be a key factor in improving organizational performance and competitiveness.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial factor in determining the direction and success of an organization. A leader’s role is not only to issue orders but also to serve as a role model and motivator for their members. This article aims to understand how leadership can influence the performance of organizational members. This paper uses a literature review method by collecting and analyzing various relevant literature on leadership theory and organizational performance. The study results indicate that effective leadership can increase work enthusiasm, responsibility, and cooperation among members. Leaders who possess good communication skills and are able to provide motivation can create a conducive and productive work environment. Thus, good leadership is a key to improving performance and achieving optimal organizational performance.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in line with changes in lifestyle, particularly among students and young professionals. Coffee shops are no longer merely places to consume beverages but have evolved into spaces for social interaction, studying, and working. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the Point Coffee business using a business feasibility study approach covering market and marketing aspects, legal aspects, technical and operational aspects, management, financial aspects, sharia and halal compliance, socio-economic aspects, and environmental considerations. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, a mini-survey of potential consumers, and literature review. The results indicate that Point Coffee has strong market potential, primarily targeting students and young professionals, supported by a strategic location, affordable pricing, and a fast-service concept. From a financial perspective, the business is projected to reach its break-even point within 1–2 years with efficient operational management. Furthermore, Point Coffee is considered feasible in terms of legal compliance, management structure, and adherence to sharia and halal principles. The business also generates positive social and economic impacts by creating employment opportunities, utilizing local coffee beans, and implementing environmentally friendly practices. Based on these findings, Point Coffee is deemed feasible to be operated and developed sustainably.

Abstract

The development of Management Information Systems (MIS) has become a critical component in enhancing operational performance and modernizing public sector administration. As public organizations face increasing pressure to deliver transparent, accountable, and high-quality services, MIS serves not only as a technological upgrade but also as a strategic governance mechanism. This journal critically examines the role of MIS in improving transparency, strengthening financial and administrative accountability, and elevating service delivery standards within public institutions. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach supported by literature analysis, the study underscores that technology alone is insufficient to generate meaningful institutional improvement. The findings reveal that the successful implementation of MIS is largely determined by the integration of three core dimensions: technological infrastructure, human resource capacity, and policy alignment. Without organizational readiness, cultural adaptation, and adequate digital competence, MIS adoption risks becoming a symbolic formality with limited operational impact. Accordingly, continuous capacity building, user-centered system design, and strong leadership commitment are required to ensure sustainability. The study concludes that MIS should be viewed not merely as a digital reporting platform, but as a transformational instrument capable of reshaping public management practices toward greater efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness to public needs

Abstract

Generation Z as a digitally native consumer group, possesses unique behavioral patterns and expectations that require companies to adopt innovative and adaptive approaches in building brand loyalty. Unlike previous generations, Generation Z places high value on personalization, convenience, digital engagement, and authenticity when interacting with brands. In this context, management information systems play a critical role in enabling companies to collect, process, and analyze real-time consumer data, which can then be used to formulate targeted and meaningful marketing strategies. This study employs a literature review method to analyze how management information systems support efforts to increase brand loyalty among Generation Z. The findings indicate that an effective implementation of management information systems allows companies to deliver personalized customer experiences, maintain responsive two-way communication, and provide seamless digital services aligned with Generation Z's expectations. Key system components such as customer relationship management (CRM), data analytics tools, artificial intelligence–based recommendation systems, and integrated digital platforms are essential in fostering long-term engagement with younger consumers. Overall, companies that successfully optimize management information systems can create higher perceived value, leading to increased trust, emotional connection, and stronger consumer commitment toward a brand.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of decision-making within modern organizational environments. Using a descriptive qualitative approach supported by an extensive literature review of academic journals, policy documents, and previous empirical studies, this research offers a comprehensive evaluation of how MIS influences managerial processes. The findings reveal that the implementation of MIS significantly enhances decision-making effectiveness by ensuring the availability of accurate, relevant, and timely information needed at various organizational levels. MIS also facilitates structured data processing, analytical reporting, and real-time monitoring, which strengthen strategic decision-making and reduce uncertainty. In addition, MIS contributes to improving decision-making efficiency by accelerating the flow of information, minimizing administrative errors, and reducing operational costs through the automation of routine tasks and standardized workflows. Moreover, MIS supports collaboration and communication by enabling integrated data access across departments, thereby reducing information silos and improving organizational responsiveness. In conclusion, MIS plays an essential and transformative role in shaping a fast, accurate, data-driven, and adaptive decision-making system, particularly for modern organizations operating in a dynamic and competitive digital era.

Abstract

The development of information technology systems has undergone universal changes and transformations, significantly impacting business processes within organizations. One notable example is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), which has rapidly evolved and been widely adopted by various organizations. ERP is an integrated system used to manage business processes comprehensively within an organization. This study aims to explore and analyze how ERP implementation can enhance organizational performance and support more effective decision-making through a qualitative literature review approach. Data and theories were collected from various sources such as academic journals, scientific articles, and research reports discussing the relationship between ERP and organizational management. The analysis reveals that ERP usage improves operational efficiency, enhances data transparency, and strengthens coordination among units within the company. With real-time data integration, decision-makers obtain accurate and timely information, making the decision-making process more effective, efficient, and targeted. Additionally, ERP helps optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs, positively impacting performance improvement and quality decision-making within the organization. However, the success of ERP implementation heavily depends on organizational readiness, top management support, and human resource capabilities. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic planning and effective change management to maximize the benefits of ERP implementation on organizational performance and decision-making.

Abstract

E-learning is a learning process that leverages technological advancements to facilitate educational activities through online platforms. Within this system, a variety of digital tools and features are provided for both students and lecturers, enabling effective communication, interaction, discussion, and feedback throughout the learning process. These tools—such as discussion forums, virtual classrooms, chat functions, and online assessment features—create an environment that supports active participation and continuous engagement. The availability of such comprehensive facilities not only simplifies the learning process but also enhances comfort, reduces feelings of boredom, and increases students’ overall motivation to learn. The findings of the study demonstrate that e-learning has a substantial and significant impact on students’ learning motivation. This conclusion is supported by the statistical results, where the significance value of 0.000 is below the threshold of 0.05, indicating a meaningful relationship. Additionally, the t-test value of 11.737 exceeds the t-table value of 2.02439, further confirming the significant influence of e-learning on motivation. The R Square value of 77.3% indicates that e-learning contributes strongly to the variance in students’ learning motivation, while the remaining 22.7% is shaped by other external factors not examined in the study. Overall, these results highlight the important role of e-learning in enhancing motivation and improving the quality of learning experiences.
