Abstract

Open plan office is one type of office layout applied by Puslatbang KMP LAN to arrange rooms, equipment, equipment, and furniture to create comfort in several aspects that affect employee productivity. The purpose of this study is to describe spatial planning, characterize employee productivity, and determine the impact of spatial planning on employee productivity. The type of research approach used is based on quantitative and qualitative research methods. Data collection methods such as observations, questionnaires and documents were used to achieve the objectives of this study. This study was conducted on 52/60 employees, and the method of determining the sample used was non-probability sampling, namely simple random sampling. The collected survey data is analyzed using statistical analysis, testing classical assumptions. in particular Kolmogorov Smirnov's conventional tests, and inferential statistical analysis to determine whether open office design has an impact on productivity or not. The results showed that the indicators used for each variable in the implementation of the open office scheme were in the medium category, while employee productivity was in the good category. Several indicators of open space planning are used: the principle of the shortest route, working order, utilization of the entire area, changes in the arrangement of the workplace. While employee productivity indicators include ability, performance improvement, morale, self-development, quality, and efficiency. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, the relationship between variables is included in the medium category. Based on the results of the simple linear regression process carried out, it can be concluded that spatial planning has a positive and significant effect on the productivity of employees of the Makassar KMP LAN puslatbang.

Abstract

Archive management is very much needed in an organization because by organizing archives properly information services in an agency can run smoothly, archives are the center of memory in an agency, if when employees need or need data or information, it will be found in the archives, because archives are a storage place for evidence of the results of activities or transactions carried out during activities. This study focuses on knowing how effective archive management is at the Food Security Office of South Sulawesi Province. Therefore, research has significant in identifying archival governance that affects effectiveness in archives. This research is qualitative, therefore to achieve the research objectives used All indicators used in this study are considered less effective based on the results of the study. Data collection methods used include documentation, interviews, and observation. The indicator in question is that the storage and arrangement of archives is less effective because it does not follow the standard operating procedures set in the office. Archive security is effective because it has stored archives properly. Archive maintenance is less effective because the archive storage area cannot be categorized as feasible. Prevention of archive damage is less effective because the archive storage room is not maintained. The archive depreciation system cannot be categorized because the archive depreciation system has never been implemented. This study presents new information by linking detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on the effectiveness of archive governance so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to increase effectiveness in archives.

Abstract

Organize archives neatly and organized so that they are easily found and used by people who need them. This study aims to determine how effective the arrangement of archives at the Makassar Sub holding Office of Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch. Therefore, research has significant in identifying archival structuring that affects effectiveness in archival. This research is qualitative, therefore, to achieve the objectives of the study, data collection techniques are used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that all indicators used in this study are classified as less effective. The indicator in question is that archive storage is classified as effective because archives are stored or placed in file cabinets, archives are also stored based on numbers or dates then store them in archive boxes, archive placement is classified as less effective because the items in the box are not arranged properly and the rediscovery of archives is classified as less effective because it takes a while to find the items you are looking for in many collections of old items. This study presents new information by relating detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on the effectiveness of archival structuring so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to increase effectiveness in archives

Abstract

Interpersonal relationships are formed when the process of processing messages gets feedback occurs, both verbal and nonverbal. As interpersonal relationships grow, interpersonal communication also occurs, which is a communication process that requires more than one person. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interpersonal communication at the Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Makassar Sub holding Office and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors at the Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Makassar Sub holding Office. This research approach is a qualitative research approach and a type of descriptive research, the informants in this study are the Deputy Branch Manager of Operations, HSSE Officer and Staff at the Makassar Sub holding Office of Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used observation, interview and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation techniques, data presentation, conclusions, and verification. The results of this study show that all indicators used in the study of interpersonal communication effectiveness at the Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Makassar Sub holding Office are classified as effective. The indicator in question is that openness is classified as effective because the delivery of information and messages will be conveyed in detail and maximize to convey directly. Empathy is classified as effective because of the caring attitude by providing a quick response and solutions presented. Support is classified as effective because of the support of all parties that can be felt and the holding of regular meetings to find out the obstacles felt and progress to be implemented. A positive attitude is classified as effective because leaders and employees show a positive behavioural attitude by listening and thinking about solutions to every problem faced and similarities are classified as effective because of the mutual respect that must be cultivated by both leaders and employees.

Abstract

. Office infrastructure is included in an important component in an organization and sometimes even people assess the quality of an office service by paying attention to adequate, good and complete and modern facilities so that it is considered a quality office. This study focuses on knowing how to manage the maintenance of office facilities and infrastructure at the Temmalebba Village Office, Palopo City. Therefore, research has a significant role in identifying maintenance management activities for office facilities and infrastructure. This research is qualitative, therefore to achieve the research objectives some of the indicators used in this study are considered not to have run optimally based on the results of the study. Data collection methods used include documentation, interviews and observations. The indicator in question is maintenance planning that has been carried out by making inventory books, making maintenance schedules, and following up on items to be inventoried to the removal process. Then at the stage of carrying out maintenance, routine maintenance has been carried out even though it has not been effective, periodic maintenance and cleaning once a week, maintenance of the machine both before it is damaged and has been damaged. Followed by the supervision stage carried out by subordinates to superiors and within the scope of the village itself then reported to the sub-district and followed up by the asset field of BPKAD Palopo City for direct visits to the village office. After that, the evaluation stage, although only carried out orally, becomes an improvement material for better care and maintenance. This study presents new information by linking detailed theories and research loci different from previous research on maintenance management of office facilities and infrastructure so that it can be used as evaluation material for research loci to improve the implementation of maintenance management of office facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The use of information systems in handling the spread of hoaxes at the Makassar City Communication and Information Office. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to find out the Utilization of Information Systems in Handling the Spread of Hoaxes in the Makassar Diskominfo. The number of informants in this study was 5 people, namely 2 heads of fields from the war room and Public Information and Communication fields, 1 CCTV team leader, 1 from 112 operators, 1 from facility management employees. The data collection technique uses observation methods, interview methods, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique in this study uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of this study show that the use of information systems at Diskominfo Makassar arises because of the lack of tools needed, namely applications that can connect directly between employees and the community to facilitate direct communication such as applications that have been provided in the past but have been discontinued because the application has a budget. This research can be used as a reference and knowledge about the use of information systems in more depth because unlike previous research that used quantitative methods that focused on numbers and statistics, this research uses qualitative methods that produce more detailed descriptions of information systems .
The Influence of Organizational Experience on the Work Readiness of Office Administration Education Students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational experience on the work readiness of students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Department of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The population in this study is 53 students of the Office Administration Education Study Program. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis using percentages, mean and standard deviations, data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The test results show that the indicators of the Organizational Experience variable are in the very high category, while the Work Readiness variable is in the very high category. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test, the influence between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 0.799. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between Organizational Experience on the Work Readiness of Students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Department of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Makassar. This study uses a different approach, namely quantitative descriptive and applies it to new areas.

Abstract

The Postgraduate Program of the State University of Makassar has an information system, namely the Academic Information System. This study aims to find out how effective the use of SIA is in employees of the postgraduate program of the State University of Makassar. And whether the existence of SIA in the Postgraduate Program of the State University of Makassar can improve the quality of service to Postgraduate students. Therefore, to achieve this goal, the researcher uses data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and verification. The informants in this study are Mr. Muh Alfian as the Admin of SIA, academic service staff, administrative staff and students. The results of the study show that the use of academic information systems (SIA) in the Postgraduate Program of Makassar State University based on the results of observations, interview results and documentation studies can be effectively reviewed from the system input, system output, processes running with the system and the database used. In this study, several recent indicators related to the results and processes of a system can be used to identify the effectiveness of the use of Academic Information Systems (SIA) in the Postgraduate Program of Makassar State University

Abstract

Optimizing the quality of administrative services at the Takalar Regency Population and Civil Registration Office based on factors that support and hinder services that can be seen from the community's response. The method in this research is descriptive research. This study aims to determine the optimization of the quality of administrative services at the Takalar Regency Population and Civil Registration Office. Data collection techniques with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques with data collection, data presentation, data condensation and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that the quality of public services at the Takalar Regency Population and Civil Registration Office which is assessed from five dimensions, namely, Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiviness, Assurance, and Emphaty has been running in accordance with the expectations of the community, as well as in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in the service process. The condition of service facilities and infrastructure is quite adequate with a number of employees of 30 people which is a supporting factor in providing services and each employee is required to take part in training so that it adds insight into public services at the Takalar Regency Population and Civil Registration Office office has been running well.

Abstract

The administrative management function in this research area provides empirical and theoretical concepts so that it can improve administrative performance at the general office of BKPSDM Bantaeng Regency as well as describe and support and inhibiting factors. The research methods used are qualitative descriptive, interviews and documentation. The implementation of the administrative management function of the Bantaeng Regency BKPSDM has improved administrative performance quite well even though it is not in accordance with what is expected. (a) Planning is recognized by compiling work programs, recruiting employees, striving for a competent workforce and adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as the division of labor in accordance with their respective competencies, (b) Organizing is recognized by the division of duties and responsibilities, preparation and presentation of employee data, mutations and promotions that are recognized in accordance with employee competencies, as well as discipline that must be maintained; (c) Actuating is acknowledged by the way the leadership participates in the process of being involved in the process such as providing direction through coaching or instruction so that the form of filing, correspondence, disposition, and SKP can be implemented properly; (d) Supervision/Controlling is recognized using e-performance applications. The supporting factors for administrative management to improve the administrative performance of the Bantaeng Regency BKPSDM are good cooperation between employees, communication ethics and facilities and infrastructure, while the inhibiting factors are the limitations of the ability and skills of employees, especially in using electronic media and the lack of awareness of employees to improve their abilities, the findings of this research are the skills of employees, especially in the use of electronic media need boosted.
