Abstract

Underhand marriage is a phenomenon that still occurs frequently in Indonesian society and has complex legal implications, particularly regarding the status of children born. Although these marriages are considered religiously valid, the lack of marriage registration results in a lack of administrative recognition by the state. This condition has a direct impact on determining the legal status of children in the national legal system, particularly regarding civil relations with parents, identity rights, and the fulfillment of other civil rights. This study aims to analyze the legal consequences of underhand marriages on the status of children born from a national legal perspective using a normative juridical approach. The analysis was conducted by examining relevant laws and regulations, legal doctrine, and court decisions, particularly Constitutional Court Decision Number 46/PUU-VIII/2010. This study also links these issues to the theories of legal certainty and legal protection. The results show that underhand marriages create uncertainty in the legal status of children because the recognition of the child's civil relationship with their biological father does not occur automatically but rather depends on subsequent legal mechanisms. From the perspective of legal certainty and legal protection, this condition places children in a vulnerable position and potentially experiences discrimination. Therefore, legal interpretation and policies are needed that are more oriented towards the best interests of children in order to guarantee certainty of status and fair legal protection.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the modern perfume retail industry, which is becoming increasingly competitive, requiring companies to provide a satisfying shopping experience for customers. Although PT Izone Ritel Indonesia has offered a variety of products, initial observations still show consumer complaints regarding delays in service during busy hours and uneven product availability. This phenomenon indicates the need for an in-depth analysis of the factors determining customer satisfaction at the location.  The purpose of this research is to analyze and explain the magnitude of the influence of service quality (X1) and product variation (X2) variables on consumer satisfaction (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 56 respondents. Data analysis techniques include classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results of the linear regression analysis The multiple regression produces the equation: Y = −1.185 + 0.186X1 + 0.824X2. The research findings indicate that: (1) Service quality partially has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, with a t-count value of 2.160 > t-table 2.006 and a significance value of 0.035 < 0.05. (2) Product variety partially has a positive and dominant effect on consumer satisfaction, with a t-count value of 8.389 > t-table 2.006 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) Simultaneously, service quality and product variety have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, with an F-count value of 1439.00 > F-table 3.17. The coefficient of determination (R Square) obtained is 0.982, which indicates that this model is able to explain 98.2% of the variation in consumer satisfaction.

Researchers use a type of quantitative approach research. The method used is the questionnaire method. The sample used in this study was 125 respondents. The results showed that multiple linear regression showed Y = 16.639 + 0.229 (X1) + 0.159 (X2) + 0.113 (X3) + 0.274 (X4) + 4.202, meaning that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship between product, price, place and promotion on purchasing decisions at Agung Toyota Bengkulu. From the results of the product test (X1) it shows tcount 3.180 > ttable 1.657 and significance 0.002 < ttable 1.657 and significance 0.042 ttable 1.657 and significance 0.016 ttable 1.657 and significance 0.000 2.45, it can be concluded that accepting the hypothesis means that there is a simultaneous influence between product (X1), price (X2) place (X3) and promotion (X4) to the purchasing decision variable (Y) at Agung Toyota Bengkulu. This can be seen at the significance level of 0.000 <0.05.
