Ruang lingkup artikel yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini membahas berbagai topik di bidang hukum dan peradilan. Frekuensi: 3 terbitan per tahun (April, Agustus, dan Desember) Judex Laguens merupakan jurnal akses terbuka dan peer-review yang bertujuan untuk menyebarkan hasil penelitian atau pemikiran asli yang fokus pada isu-isu di bidang hukum dan peradilan. Penulis diundang untuk mengirimkan naskah yang termasuk dalam lingkup Judex Set Lex Laguens. Artikel-artikel yang diterbitkan di Judex Set Lex Laguens melalui proses peer-review double-blind. Oleh karena itu, diterima atau tidaknya karya ilmiah tersebut merupakan hak Dewan Redaksi berdasarkan rekomendasi peer reviewer. Silakan baca informasi tentang proses peer-review. Mohon membaca dan memahami pedoman penulis dalam penyusunan naskah. Penulis yang menyerahkan naskah ke editor harus mematuhi pedoman dan template penulis. Jika naskah yang dikirimkan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman atau menggunakan format yang berbeda, maka naskah tersebut akan ditolak oleh tim editorial sebelum ditinjau. Tim redaksi hanya akan menerima naskah yang memenuhi persyaratan format yang ditentukan.

Abstract

The existence of electronic evidence, especially electronic documents, is a consequence of the development and sophistication of information and communication technology which can now be used in proving a case. The benefits of this research will get a reconstruction of the position of electronic documents as evidence in proving civil cases. The research method used is normative legal research method with legislation. The results of the study show the reconstruction of the existence of electronic evidence, especially electronic documents, can be used as letter evidence because currently any activity has carried the concept of paperless, so digital documents and electronic mail become vital, electronic evidence as part of efforts to support environmental sustainability by limiting the use of paper in the trial process. The legal basis and footing for the strength of electronic documents for evidentiary purposes in civil cases in accordance with the applicable procedural law is increasingly getting a place and flexibility, so there is no doubt that in defending arguments and rights in the civil field the existence of electronic documents is important and decisive. Electronic evidence in court proceedings is an attempt to contribute to ensuring environmental sustainability. This effort, in the eyes of environmental psychology, is a responsible attitude and behaviour towards environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Implicit bias is an unconscious attitude or stereotype that influences understanding, actions and decisions. Therefore, it is possible that implicit bias can also affect the outcome of the decision made by the judge. This research is very useful to answer the importance of implicit bias education for a judge. This research uses normative legal research methods. The results show that implicit bias education is very important for judges as an effort to realize justice in their decisions so that it affects the level of public trust in the judiciary. In addition, mastery of implicit bias is also a form of transparency and overcomes concerns about bias and injustice. Involving the public and promoting a culture of openness also contributes to a more trustworthy and respected legal system.
