Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didk melalui penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe Tim Group Tournament (TGT) dengan pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X.2 SMAN 15 Makassar sebanyak 34 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kompratif teknik presentatif.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar pada siklus 1 dengan kategori tinggi 20,58%, sedang 79,41%, dan tidak ada kategori rendah dan di siklus 2 meningkat menjadi kategori tinggi 47,05% dan sedang 52,94%. Maka penelitian ini disimpulkan berhasil.

Abstract

This research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of PBL learning. The subjects in this study were students of class XI.4 at UPT SMA Negeri 11 Makassar consisting of 36 students. The instruments used to collect data included observation sheets of learning implementation, observation sheets of student activities and mathematics learning outcome tests. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive techniques using percentages. The results showed that the application of PBL learning models was able to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, where in cycle I there were 17 students who achieved KKM (47.2%), while in cycle II the number increased to 31 students (86.11%).

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles,Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This researchaims toimproving students' collaboration skills through the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach to students in class X.1 of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar with 35 students as subjects.The data collection technique used was observation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of learning using the problem based learning (PBL) model with the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve students' collaboration skills. This is evidenced by an increase in the average percentage of students' collaboration skills from 56% in the pre-cycle to 65% in cycle 1, then increasing again to 80% in cycle 2.

Abstract

This classroom-based action research aims to find out to what extent the influence of the application of Teaching at the Right Level is for the improvement of learning participation of Grade XII.10 students at SMA 2 Makassar. This research was conducted through involving 35 students. It was worked in two cycles which consist of several phases, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques of this research were interview with the pamong teacher, observation, and documentation such as photos and videos. The obtained data were then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. Based on data analysis, there is the student participation improvement during learning processes for each indicator. Thus, the application of Teaching at the Right level approach proves capable of improving students’ participation during learning processes, particularly for Grade XII.10 at SMA 2 Makassar.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to enhance classroom discourse and student achievement by employing the Discovery Learning model integrated with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The research was carried out in Class XI Technical Computer Network 01 at SMK Negeri 3, involving 30 students. This classroom action research comprised four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation-reflection. The study spanned two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data was collected using classroom discussion observation sheets and achievement tests. The findings revealed a notable improvement in both classroom discussions and student achievement from the first to the second cycle, increasing from 55.4% to 80.3%. Additionally, the number of students who met the learning objectives rose from 12 to 25. Consequently, these results support the conclusion that the integration of Discovery Learning and TaRL can effectively elevate classroom discourse and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the engagement of 12th-grade students at SMAN 21 Makassar through the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model, supported by technology-based media. The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The subjects of the study were 36 students in the 12th grade. The research instruments included observation, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests, which were then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results of the study indicated a significant increase in student participation, which initially was only 25% at the pre-cycle stage, increased to 42% in Cycle I, and reached 81% in Cycle II. The average student score also improved from 64 in the pre-cycle to 80 in Cycle II, while the percentage of students achieving the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKTP) surged from 25% to 83%. The integration of technology, such as Canva and Quizizz, not only enriched the learning materials but also motivated students to actively engage in group discussions.

Abstract

This article is a classroom action research that will examine the project based learning model to improve students' Science Process Skills (SPS). Initial observations showed low SPS, low SPS results also caused low student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were students of class IX-3 SMPN 1 Makassar. The tools used in this study were scientific process skills observation sheets and student response sheets. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive techniques with percentages. The results of the study showed that the application of the project-based learning model was able to improve students' science process skills. This can be seen from the percentage of students' achievement of science process skills from cycle I to cycle II. Cycle I The average value was 69.1 with a fairly good category and in cycle II the average value was 89.0 with a very good category. This shows an increase in science process skills from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Learning motivation is the drive or enthusiasm that drives someone to actively seek, understand, and master new knowledge or skills. One thing that can foster learning motivation is the right learning media. This study aims to provide a description of the use of wordwalls in mathematics learning to foster learning motivation of class XI Electrical Power Installation Engineering students at SMK Negeri 3 Makassar. This research was conducted in class XI Electrical Power Installation Engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Makassar. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with observation techniques carried out by collecting various information from direct observations in class XI TITL SMK Negeri 3 Makassar. The results of the study show that utilizing wordwalls in mathematics learning can foster student learning motivation. This makes students enthusiastic so that teachers can utilize wordwalls to support active student learning to achieve learning objectives using the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study is designed to investigate the enhancement of learning interest among twelfth-grade students in the subject of Combinatorics through the Quizizz application using the Culturally Relevant Teaching (CRT) approach. The type of research conducted is Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study consist of 36 twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. Data were collected using descriptive methods. The results indicate a significant increase in students' learning interest after the implementation of the Quizizz application integrated with the CRT approach. The findings show a notable improvement in the average comprehension score of students, from 64.44 in the pre-cycle to 87.22 in the second cycle. Furthermore, the mastery level of students increased from 30.56% in the first cycle to 83.33% in the second cycle. These findings suggest that the integration of the Quizizz application in learning can enhance motivation and understanding of material often considered abstract. This research also emphasizes the importance of utilizing technology in education that supports the principles of Learning 4.0, as well as the need for appropriate pedagogical approaches to optimize the learning experience

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning motivation through the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data were collected through observation sheets and questionnaires. The subjects of this study consisted of 24 students from class VIII.2 at SMP Negeri 55 Makassar. The results indicate a significant increase in student learning motivation. Based on observation results, in the pre-cycle, only 41.6% of students were motivated, but this figure increased to 70.8% in the first cycle, and further reached 87.5% in the second cycle. Questionnaire results also showed a consistent increase, with student learning motivation recorded at 45.8% during the pre-cycle, rising to 62.5% in the first cycle, and finally reaching 79.2% in the second cycle. This emphasizes that the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach effectively enhances student motivation in the classroom.
