Abstract

Turnover intention can be interpreted as the movement of labor out of the organization. The high level of turnover intention has become a serious problem for many companies, even some companies experience frustration when they find out that the recruitment process that has succeeded in attracting qualified staff ultimately turns out to be useless because the recruited staff has chosen a job in another company. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of salary satisfaction, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on the turnover intention of nurses at the Jakarta Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital. This study uses an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out by interviews, surveys and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is PLS (partial least square). The results of this study found that there was an effect of salary satisfaction on turnover intention, job satisfaction did not have a significant effect on turnover intention and there was no effect of organizational commitment on turnover intention. The researcher's suggestion is to further review both the number and the existing payroll system, provide a transparent assessment of nurses' performance, increase nurses' job satisfaction, and fulfill nurses' rights following the accuracy of remuneration, career leveling, and suitability in assignments.

Abstract

Dental caries is an infectious disease that damages the structure of the tooth, this disease causes cavities. Research Objectives: It is known the relationship between brushing habits and consumption of cariogenic snack foods with the incidence of dental caries at Sukabumi City Hospital. Research Methods: Descriptive type of analytical correlation with cross-sectional study approach. Population and Research Samples: in thalassemia children at Sukabumi City Hospital was 130 and samples were 96 people. Data on brushing habits and consumption of cariogenic snack foods with dental caries were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets. Research Results: Chi-Square statistical test results show that the p-value is 0.00 where p < 0.05 which means that there is a significant relationship between the habit of brushing teeth and the incidence of dental caries in thalassemia children at Sukabumi City Hospital and the statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.00 where p < 0.05 which means that there is a significant relationship between the consumption of cariogenic snack foods and the incidence of dental caries in thalassemia children at Sukabumi City Hospital. Conclusion: There is a meaningful relationship between the habit of brushing teeth and the consumption of cariogenic snack foods with the incidence of dental caries in thalassemia children at Sukabumi City Hospital. Suggestion: Improving parents in attempt to motivate thalassemia children in improving health, especially oral and dental health.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 is a new type of coronavirus that not only affects the body, it can also seriously affect the mental health of residents. The phenomenon that mostly occurs when the performance of a hospital is said to be good at any time can be disrupted directly or indirectly by the attitude of nurses working in hospitals. The form of the nurse's attitude is the desire to change jobs (turnover) caused by several things, such as remuneration, compensation that is not appropriate, the absence of a comfortable work environment, high workload, lack of career development for nurses, and the leadership style of the head of the room. not good value. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the role of remuneration, compensation, comfort in the work environment, workload, career development and leadership style of the head of the room on the desire to change jobs (turnover) nurses. The sample used was 100 nurses. This study used an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional design. Data was collected through interviews, surveys, and distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was logistic regression (logistic regression). The results of this study found that remuneration, compensation, workload, comfort in the work environment, and leadership style had a significant relationship to the desire to change jobs (turnover) of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic at Sekarwangi Hospital, Sukabumi Regency.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a complex chronic disease that requires ongoing medical treatment with multifactorial risk reduction strategies that cause DM in addition to glycemic control. The psychological impact that occurs on patients with Diabetes is such as anxiety, anger, grief, shame, guilt, loss of hope, depression, loneliness, and helplessness. The management of type 2 diabetes has 5 main objectives in its processing, namely education, medical nutrition therapy, physical activity, pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) on Blood Glucose Levels in Type 2 DM Patients in the Working Area of the Sukabumi Health Center. This study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pre and posttest without control on 21 respondents. The results of the statistical test with the Paired Samples Test P value were 0.000 < 0.05 where it can be concluded that there is a difference in blood glucose values before and after Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) in Type 2 DM patients. It is suggested that this study can be used as information and input in policy efforts to prevent long-term complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Health Center.

Abstract

COPD is one of the chronic diseases that can cause fatigue, depression and respiratory system disorders. One of the efforts to overcome anxiety and depression in similar chronic diseases to reduce fatigue is by using the Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) method. Another effort to increase the oxygen supply to the alveoli is through breathing exercises, one of which is Pursed Lips Breathing (PLB). Objective: To analyze the relationship between progressive muscle relaxation and purshed lips breathing on Depression Score, Fatigue Score and respiratory function in COPD patients. Research Design: Quantitative research, with experimental design through the pretest-posttest randomized control group design approach. In the experimental study, random assignment was carried out into groups where the researcher made a comparison between the intervention group and the control group. Sampling technique by Consercutive sampling. Data collection using the FACIT-T, BDI II questionnaire, was analyzed using paired t-tests. Results: There was an effect of progressive muscle relaxation with pursed lips breathing on the decrease in fatigue score and depression score with a p value of 0.000 while for respiratory function there was no effect with a p value of 0.191. Suggestion: PMR with PLB can be used as one of the interventions in treatment to prevent fatigue and depression taught to COPD patients during control in the pulmonary polyclinic room which can be used as a preventive measure and as one of the interventions in discharge planning for patients who will go home in the inpatient room.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that can affect anyone, both young and old. Increased blood pressure caused by less physical activity will cause complications such as heart disease, and prolonged stress can increase blood pressure to stay high. To determine the relation of physical activity and stress with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in Tete Community Health Center work area of Tojo Una-Una Regency. This research uses descriptive correlation method with a cross-sectional approach and uses the Mann-Whitney U test. The population in this research were elderly who were in the 5 villages of the Tete Community Health Centre of Tojo Una-Una Regency. The number of samples in this research were 112 respondents who were taken using the proportional random sampling technique. There is a relation between leisure activities and total PASE with the incidence of hypertension (<0,05). There is no relation between household activity, and work activity with the incidence of hypertension (>0,05). There is a relation between stress with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly (<0,05). For people in the working area of the Tete Community Health Centre, it is recommended to prevent as early as possible the occurrence of hypertension, especially people who have risk factors for hypertension through improved lifestyles, adequate physical activity, stress control, and the need for blood pressure checks, routine treatment, and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Obesity is a condition where there is an accumulation of excess body fat so that a person's weight is far above normal and can endanger health. Obesity management will provide optimal results, if the person does diet, physical activity, and behavior therapy seriously. Therefore, strong self-efficacy is needed to get maximum results. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors related to self-efficacy obesity management in students of the Faculty of Health, University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. The sampling determination technique uses probability sampling with a sample size of 83 students. This study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out by interviews, surveys and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is logistic regression. The results of this study found that Attitude with P value: 0.001 (< 0.05), Physical and Emotional Conditions with P value: 0.001 (< 0.05), and Gender with P value: 0.032 (< 0.05) had a significant relationship with Self Efficacy in Student Obesity Management, Faculty of Health, University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. Efforts to improve self-efficacy in obesity management are by improving body condition, decreasing stress, and being ready to undergo a diet. This research is expected to be used as a reference material, providing information and understanding to students about factors related to obesity self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between fatique (fatigue) and stress in nurses in the era of the covid 19 pandemic at Hospital X 2021. The sample used was 88 nurses. This study uses an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out by interviews, surveys and questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is the chi-square test. The results of this study found that there was a relationship between fatique (fatigue) and stress in nurses in the era of the covid 19 pandemic at Hospital X 2021. The researcher is further advised to measure the level of work stress of nurses in the pandemic era not only from fatigue but also the factors that affect and cause work stress, which in this study has not been done by the author due to the limited time of the author's research, so that the research becomes more in-depth.

Abstract

The health belief model (HBM) is a model used to describe individual beliefs in healthy living behaviors so that individuals will perform healthy behaviors, which can be in the form of preventive behaviors or the use of health facilities. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the components of the health belief model (HBM) with medication adherence and stress levels in hypertensive patients. This study uses an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The sample used was 90 people, the criteria for nurse respondents working in the COVID-19 isolation room, still registered as active and not on leave, and having physical and psychological health conditions. The data collection tool uses questionnaires, namely the Health Belief Model (HBM), medication adherence and stress levels. Data analysis techniques of chi-square test and multiple logistic regression. The results of this study found that there was a relationship between the Health Belief Model (HBM) and medication adherence (p = 0.000) and stress levels (p = 0.002) in hypertensive patients. The results of the Multiple Logistic Regression Test can be found that Age, Gender, Education, and Health Belief Model (HBM) have a relationship with Drug Adherence in Hypertensive Patients. For hypertensive patients, it is recommended to be able to pay attention to their lifestyle, for example, related to adhering to medication, reducing the consumption of sugar, salt, and carbohydrates, eating fruits and vegetables, managing stress levels, exercising, staying away from cigarette smoke and not drinking alcohol so that it can reduce hypertension complications and improve the quality of life.

Abstract

Nursing services are part of health services that contribute significantly to achieving development goals in the health sector. Nursing is a profession and nurses as professionals are responsible for providing quality nursing services with their competence and authority (Ksouri, 2010; Supratman, 2008). The Objective this study is to find out the influence of the clinical supervision model on the performance of nurses in nursing care in inpatient installation 2 of the TNI Jakarta Hospital. The subjects in this study were 88 nurses and 92 documentation files according to the inclusion criteria. This study uses the Quasi Experiment method and is analyzed including univariate, bivariate and multivariate. Data collection uses training and questionnaires. Research results there was an increase in the performance of nurses in nursing care in 2 TNI Jakarta Hospitals with  a pvalue of 0.000.
