Abstract

Bioinformatics plays an increasingly important role in the study of influenza viruses, especially in understanding genetic evolution, drug resistance, and developing more effective therapies. This study aims to explore the application of bioinformatics in analyzing genomic data of influenza viruses, designing drugs and vaccines, and monitoring the spread of virus variants. The research method uses a quantitative approach with secondary data analysis in the form of genome sequencing results and resistance data from various influenza virus isolates . Normality , validity, and reliability tests are carried out to ensure data quality, while bioinformatics analysis is applied to identify genetic mutations, protein structures, and virus spread patterns. The results show that genomic data analyzed with bioinformatics allows the identification of mutations that affect drug resistance, geographic mapping of resistant variants , and prediction of potential mutations in the future. In addition, bioinformatics contributes significantly to the design of more specific vaccines by utilizing viral epitope analysis . In conclusion, bioinformatics has a major impact on the development of more effective influenza control strategies, both in terms of therapy and prevention, as well as accelerating the response to future pandemic threats

Abstract

The incidence of ARI always ranks first as the cause of death in infants and toddlers. ARI is the cause of morbidity and mortality of infectious diseases in the world. One of the developing countries with ARI cases is Indonesia, and the number is increasing every year. In addition, ARI is also often on the list of the 10 most common diseases in hospitals and health centers. Data obtained from the Kolang Health Center shows that the incidence of ARI has increased over the last three years. In 2020, 622 cases were found, including those of all ages, from toddlers, children, adults to the elderly. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Kolang Health Center, Kolang District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2021. This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional study design. The population of this studyall patients who visited/received treatment at the Kolang Health Center totaled 345 people, and a sample of 75 people was taken using the sampling techniquesimple random sampling. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire, and the data analyst usedChi Square. The results of the study showedthere is relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of ARI, there is no relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of ARI, and there is a relationship between the habit of opening windows and the incidence of ARI. The conclusion of this study is that nutritional status, the habit of opening windows are significantly related to the incidence of ARI and the habit of smoking in the house has no significant relationship with the incidence of ARI. For this reason, it is recommended that mothers pay attention to toddler nutrition, come as much as possible if there is a nutritional status counseling schedule and it is hoped that families open windows every day so that ARI in toddlers does not occur or can be prevented.

Abstract

Oranges are one of the fruits that are easily obtained and have many health benefits. Oranges are generally consumed in the form of juice. Fresh fruit juices that are widely consumed by the public are usually made from a mixture of fresh fruit, ice, sugar, or milk without any heating process in their processing, causing fruit juice to be at high risk of being contaminated with E. coli. The presence of E. coli in water or food is also considered to have a high correlation with the discovery of germs in food. The purpose of this study was to determine whether orange juice was contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria.. This type of research uses a qualitative method where data collection is carried out by interview. The results of the study, based on the results of the examination from the Laboratory that out of 10 juice samples, there were 3 samples containing Escherichia coli bacteria, namely in sample codes k3, k7 and k9. Contamination is likely to occur due to less clean handlers and using uncooked mixing water. The presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in drinks or food is also considered to have a high correlation in the discovery of food pathogens.

Abstract

Interprofessional collaborative (IPC) aims to improve the performance of various health professionals to improve health services such as patient safety, patient satisfaction and quality of hospital services. According to the WHO, 70-80% of healthcare errors result from poor communication and understanding among team members. There is a gap in the practice of collaboration between doctors and nurses, doctors are considered as the main health service while other health workers are only as executors. The purpose of this study was to determine partnership, cooperation, coordination, and joint decision making in IPC of young doctors according to nurses' perceptions. The research method used descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The subjects of this study were nurses in the inpatient department of Rumah Sakit Tingkat II 03.05.01 Dustira Cimahi in 2023. Data is primary data using the Assessment of Interprofessional Team Collaboration Scale (AITCS) questionnaire. The results showed that the gender of the respondents was 80 women (79,2%) and 21 men (20,8%). The highest age was 26-30 years, 34 people (33,7%) and the most length of work was 6-10 years, 40 people (39,6%). The results showed that according to nurses' perceptions of co-assistant' collaborative practices based on four domains showed that they had collaborated well, namely the partnership domain 77,2%, cooperation 82,2%, coordination 77,2% and joint decision making 84,2%. Interprofessional Collaborative of co-assistant at the professional stage shows good collaboration, namely 74,3% and 25,7% moving towards collaboration. Based on this data, co-assistnt have shown good Interprofessional Collaborative but still need to be developed and improved again.. This research was conducted only in the inpatient room, therefore in order to get an overall picture of the hospital which will be the place of further research it is recommended to take samples from various rooms.

Abstract

Anemia is one of the most common nutritional problems among adolescent girls, especially during periods of rapid growth. One of the main factors causing anemia is low intake of animal protein, which contains haem iron and plays an important role in hemoglobin formation. Adolescent girls have higher iron requirements, so they are at greater risk of anemia if their diet is insufficient. 49.7% of adolescent girls experience anemia. The anemia problem at SMPN 1 Kelumpang Hilir is 27.6%. This study used an analytical observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study consisted of 171 female adolescents from SMP Negeri 1 Kelumpang Selatan. The study was conducted in November 2025. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The test used was the Spearman's rank correlation test. The results of the study showed that most of the adolescent girls had poor protein intake habits (60.0%), insufficient sleep duration (58.6%), and anemia (70.0%). The statistical test results showed a relationship between protein source eating habits and sleep duration with the incidence of anemia in female adolescents in grade VII at SMPN 1 Kelumpang Hilir UPTD Puskesmas Serongga. It is recommended that there be education on the proper consumption of TTD (avoiding tea/coffee) as well as improvements in protein intake and sleep patterns among adolescent girls. Researchers are further recommended to examine the variables of social support and knowledge levels.
