Abstract

This study proposes a simplified Customer Satisfaction (CS) analysis procedure by summarizing the CS analysis method, which can be practically applied to questionnaire analysis from the perspective of Institutional Research for Teaching and Learning (IRTL). Most of the questionnaire surveys conducted in higher education institutions are mere aggregations of the percentage of responses. A course evaluation questionnaire assessment method applying CS analysis, which is often used in marketing, has already been established to solve this problem. However, this method cannot be practically implemented if IRTL organizations are not fully functional. Using this proposed method, it is possible to specifically analyze the items that need to be focused on and improved to enhance student satisfaction. Furthermore, this study also examines whether the proposed method could be applied to the analysis of questionnaires for student surveys that have been conducted in recent years. As a result, the proposed method based on the perspective of IRTL has also succeeded in summarizing the guidelines for higher education institutions to conduct survey analysis.

Abstract

The study aims to inspect the effect of social media, and academic learning achievement of students. The main objectives of the current study were to analyze the association between the use of social media and students' academic learning achievement and assess the level of academic performance among students concerning the intensive use of social media. A quantitative research design was used, and data has been collected from 120 students through a questionnaire using a simple random sampling technique. A Paired sample t-Test has been applied in this research to test the hypothesis. This study showed that social media positively influences the academic learning achievement of UOS Bhakkar campus students. However, it was concluded that the significant value sig= (.000) was less than .05, which was an actual measure for accepting or rejecting the hypothesis, so the null hypothesis was rejected, and the main hypothesis was accepted. There is a significant association between the use of Social Media and students' academic learning achievement. The study will support the government and university regarding making facilities available, such as the Internet, etc. It will also draw students' courtesy to the need for responsible use of social media in their academic work.

A structured questionnaire was developed to conduct primary data. The data were examined by using SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) version 24 software. The Chi-square test was implemented to measure the relationship between job satisfaction and male dominance at the workplace. The findings showed there is a significant association between male dominancy and job satisfaction of working women. The level of job satisfaction of working women is lower because of males’ supremacy. These findings imply that the chances of professional development must be equally provided to every worker without any gender disparity. Moreover, these findings render useful recommendations for policymakers.

Abstract

The current study aimed to examine the pandemic related perceived stress and vaccine hesitancy in Pakistani adults aged 18-59 years. A sample of 452 adults of Punjab, Pakistan, completed an online questionnaire using Google Forms which contained two scales, including the Oxford COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Scale and Pandemic-Related Perceived Stress Scale of COVID-19. The current study aimed to predict vaccine hesitancy from perceived stress and to find demographic associations with both perceived stress and vaccine hesitancy in Pakistani adults. The results showed that the perceived stress significantly predicted vaccine hesitancy in Pakistani adults. There were found significant gender differences in both perceived stress and vaccine hesitancy. Women were found to have more perceived stress and vaccine hesitancy than men. Age had no impact on both perceived stress and vaccine hesitancy, whereas education was found to have a significant impact on perceived stress. The adults with low education were found to have more perceived stress than adults having higher education levels. It is concluded and recommended that even if an effective vaccine is prepared in the event of a pandemic, it must be properly explained to people in order to create acceptance for a vaccine. An education program that increases people's health literacy can also effectively reduce public hesitation about vaccination and improve acceptance. However, for people with high stress, other health programs should be developed to increase the positive response to the COVID-19 vaccine.
