Anomie is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and free of charge journal published by Criminology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Global Studies, Universitas Budi Luhur. The articles in this journal are based on joint-research by criminology student and their supervisor. This Journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December). Anomie publishes articles on criminology issues with a particular focus on crime and society from a variety of perspectives. Deviance Jurnal Kriminologi is concerned with theories, concepts, narratives and myths of crime, criminal behaviour, social deviance, criminal law, morality, justice, social regulation and governance.

Abstract

This thesis discusses teenagers who abused tramadol. Where in doing the abuse of tramadol drugs, teenagers do voluntarily. Tramadol is one of narcotic analgesic drugs. The theory that is used by researchers to conduct analysis is Differential Association Theory. The theory states that the abuse of tramadol is learned. This research use qualitative method because researchers want to understand the phenomena that occured holistically and by describing events in the form of words and languages. The result of the data obtained by the researchers showed that the abuse of tramadol by adolescents is learned through personal communication and general learning techniques.

Abstract

Social media is a platform for disseminating information in a very significant ways, social media can engage the community into a new cultural pattern. Ease in playing the internet and social media made a lot of people use it, however, all this convenience is not always positive, many forms of crime that occur through social media are the result of people who abuse this technology advances, one of them is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can be described as an intentional act by sending an electronic texts that contain mocking, disapproval or harassment through social media applications. Social media applications are believed to be one of the main causes of the rise of cyberbullying. This is caused by the ease of downloading an application, by only having an adequate internet network and gadget or smartphone. Instagram becomes one of the most widely used social media platforms, especially in Indonesia. Instagram's existence is also supported by Selebgram. Selebgram is a status that given to someone who is famous on social media, in this case Instagram, selebgram’s popularity can not be seperated from how they present themselves through their Instagram account. However, behind all the fame and benefits they can be obtained as a selebgram, they must be mentally strong to face a variety of all kind of negative comments from other Instagram users that can be categorized as act of cyberbullying.

Abstract

This research discusses the reason why someone can become a victim in the case of online fraud through social media instagram. This research also discusses about the modes carried out by the perpetrators. Rational choice theory is used to analyze the problems in this research. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive research type. There are three informants that are interviewed in this research. Beside that, researcher also interviewed experts from National Police Headquarter and Metro Jaya Regional. The result of this research shows that the perpetrator commits fraudulent acts through instagram social media as a rational choice. They sees a big opportunity to commit fraud through Instagram, only requires a small effort but provides a very large profits. The perpetrator also see the possibility of being caught because of fraud commited through Instagram was very small.

Abstract

This study discusses the behavior of adolescents who abuse alcoholic drinks in Pasar Minggu District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The theory used in this study is the social control theory by Travis Hirschi which emphasizes four aspects, namely attachment, commitment, involvement, and belief that can control people from committed crime. In this study there were seven resource persons that comes from Indonesian Child Protection Commission, South Jakarta Resort Police (South Jakarta District Police), three teenages who abuses alcoholic drinks that lived in Pasar Minggu District, and parents of one of the teenagers. The results of this study indicate that the factors that cause adolescents to abuse alcoholic drinks consist of internal factors, namely escape from the problem faced, and external factors, namely environmental factors that encourage their curiosity to try alcoholic drink.

Abstract

The case of terrorism involving a child as a victim with parent of terrorist combatants is a new form of violent crime in the household, where the child is involved by the head of the household and indoctrinated to engage in a heresy by doing things which not taught in any religion. The revealed of child’s identitiy to the community then forming a stigma, thus giving a threat to the rights of children to be protected. The research uses the victimology theory to explain that there is a closeness between children as victims with parents as perpetrators. The study used a qualitative approach as a research method by interviewing five informants. The results showed that there are several factors that caused children become victims of parent combatants terrorist, they are: form of child care pattern, social dysfunction role as child, protection obtained by children based on the implementation of child protection law, terrorism law, and the law of combating terrorism in the form of deradicalisation program for children, and the fulfillment of the rights of children.
