Anomie is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and free of charge journal published by Criminology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Global Studies, Universitas Budi Luhur. The articles in this journal are based on joint-research by criminology student and their supervisor. This Journal is published three times a year (April, August, and December). Anomie publishes articles on criminology issues with a particular focus on crime and society from a variety of perspectives. Deviance Jurnal Kriminologi is concerned with theories, concepts, narratives and myths of crime, criminal behaviour, social deviance, criminal law, morality, justice, social regulation and governance.

Abstract

This study discusses how victimization workers in the Twin Plaza Hotel can happen using victimology theory and structural victimization. The application of structural victimization theory, is expected to know how workers or employees can be victims, as well as how the hotel Twin Plaza companies that are the owners of capital commit violations and non-violent crimes against His workers use the theories of victimology and structural victimization. This study uses a qualitative research approach and described using descriptive type, data collection done by interview, as well as conducting studies on the literature or related documents. The results of this study have seen and described the process of occurrence of victimization in the hotel Twin Plaza, impact as well as how to overcome violations and non-violent crimes committed by the company against its workers.

Abstract

This research discusses the children who are conflicted with the law or the perpetrator’s child. Psychologically, the child who committed a criminal act is still labile and can not responsibility to what he has done. Incorporating a child into a prison environment is the last solution. Another effect that occurs when the child enters the jail is a labelling as a convict committed by the public against a criminal offense. There are now regulations governing the children criminal justice system, LAW No 11 year 2012, in which there is an diversion. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews. The concept of restorative justice defines that criminal settlement involves perpetrators, victims, families of victims/perpetrators, and other related parties to jointly seek a fair settlement by emphasizing recovery on the state of And not retaliation. The implementation of the diversion provides protection against children in order not to be in direct contact with formal criminal justice, it is the main principle of restorative justice and diversion.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the development of independence at the Jakarta Narcotics Prison. By applying the theory of social reintegration, inmates will instill new morals or values in accordance with the wishes of the community. These morals or values are in the form of debriefing skills through self-development. As well as linking it with the guiding principles according to Law Number 12 of 1995 concerning Correctional Services. Obstacles in carrying out independence development are also explained in this study. This study uses a qualitative approach and is presented in descriptive type, whose data collection is done by interviews and literature studies. The results of this study have explained the independence development in the Jakarta Narcotics Prison and its obstacles.

Abstract

Final Project (Thesis) discusses crime prevention strategies as one of the state-owned banks to avoid crime in the banking world by utilizing ATM machines as a means to commit crime. One of the crimes is skimming which is a form of virtual crime by utilizing computer media connected to the internet. The perpetrators committed this crime by placing a small camera on the hand cover on the ATM machine. CCTV installed on an ATM machine is very useful for recording what happens at the ATM machine and can report it to the relevant bank. Situational prevention by checking the environment as well as the survey when the ATM machine was placed by Bank Mandiri was to prevent the risk of skimming crimes using their ATM machines. Routine checks carried out by Bank Mandiri on their ATM machines to see whether there are foreign equipment and foreign objects installed on their ATM machines. Checks carried out by the bank Mandiri to avoid any foreign objects found on the ATM machine. Bank Mandiri calls on customers to contact the call center if they experience problems with the ATM machine.

Abstract

This time, social media cannot be separate from human life. There is no day without social media especially for teenager who are almost twenty four hours active on social media. Social media such as facebook has become a place for teenangers to do social interaction. The lack of control over the use of social media can have a bad impact for teenager who use it. One of the bad thing that can arise is cyberbullying. The meaning of cyberbullying is a bullying that carried out through online media such a social media. Cyberbullying give the psychological impact for victim that can make depression so that they think and try to commit suicide attempts. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach. The informants of this study are victim of cyberbullying on facebook and has committed suicide attempts.
