Journal Collabits adalah jurnal yang membahas strategi keamanan cyber untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan keandalan dalam implementasi teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI), kecerdasan bisnis (BI), dan sains data, yang di kelola oleh Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (FASILKOM) terdiri dari dua prodi yaitu Teknik Informatika (TI dan Prodi Sistem Informasi (SI). Dengan pertumbuhan pesat dalam penggunaan teknologi ini, keamanan cyber menjadi semakin penting dalam menjaga integritas, kerahasiaan, dan ketersediaan data. Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi berbagai pendekatan, alat, dan praktik terbaik dalam mengamankan sistem AI, BI, dan sains data, termasuk deteksi ancaman, enkripsi data, manajemen akses, dan pemulihan bencana. Jurnal ini juga menganalisis dampak kebijakan keamanan cyber pada inovasi teknologi dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keamanan dalam ekosistem digital yang terus berkembang

Abstract

Computer technology has become a crucial element in military strategy from the World War II era to the contemporary Cyber War era. During World War II, early computers were used to crack enemy encryption codes and optimize the trajectories of artillery projectiles. As development progressed, electronic computers emerged, providing faster and greater computing capabilities. In the Cold War era, computers were used in war simulations and the development of missile defense systems. Then, with the advent of the Cyber War era, computer technology became central to military operations, used in cyber monitoring and defense, intelligence analysis, and network operations. The transformation of computer technology from mainframe computers to global networks has changed the landscape of modern warfare, enabling the development of sophisticated cyber weapons and tactics. In this context, this article reviews the use and transformation of computer technology in military strategy from World War II to contemporary Cyber Warfare, highlighting the key role of computers in shaping the dynamics of modern warfare.

This journal aims to explore the installation process of the Haiku operating system, utilizing VirtualBox and implementing effective file management techniques. Haiku, as an open-source operating system, showcases an innovative user interface and high performance. The study assesses the practicality of Haiku in virtualization through the use of the VirtualBox application. The journal presents step-by-step instructions on installing the Haiku operating system and deploying it within the VirtualBox application. Abstract

This study investigates the development of a web-based application called Tire Check that can monitor vehicle tire pressure in real-time. This application aims to improve driving safety by providing up-to-date information on tire pressure conditions, which are a major factor causing traffic accidents in Indonesia. This application uses the MPX5700 sensor to measure tire pressure and connects it to a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Analysis, design, implementation, and testing are part of the Waterfall methodology in software development. This application is built with the Laravel framework, using HTML, CSS, and PHP. Its main features include low tire pressure warnings, optimal tire pressure recommendations, and a simple and easy-to-understand user interface. The test results show that the application operates well and can detect tire pressure with 90% accuracy. To ensure that all features work as expected, testing is carried out using the black-box method with positive and negative scenarios. This application reduces the risk of accidents due to flat or burst tires by monitoring tire conditions without manual measuring tools. In addition, additional features such as tire temperature monitoring and compatibility with iOS devices have been developed.

Abstract

Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Serang carries out regional government affairs in the environmental sector in accordance with the Regent's vision, mission and programs outlined in the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD). The problem that occurs in the waste levy payment process is that errors often occur in the data collection service for waste levy payments, then in the process of collecting data and recording payment reports, also in the process of recor`xding payments it can still be said to be less efficient because the levy officer has to write the data on proof of payment and wait for it to be recorded. on paper by the treasurer and then summarized in Microsoft Office Excel. The method used in this research is CodeIgniter (CI) for the information system being developed. The system design used in this research uses the waterfall method so that it is easier to develop and uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for visual system modeling. The results achieved after implementing this application made it easier for admins to overcome difficulties in inputting waste levy data which had previously been carried out at the Serang district environmental service. The conclusion obtained is that by using this waste levy application, it can support improvements in work so that the data input process is more effective and efficient. Waste levy data becomes more structured and well documented.

Abstract

Studi ini berfokus pada pembuatan aplikasi web edukatif yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan metode Newton-Raphson, metode numerik dalam menyelesaikan persamaan non-linear. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan React.js, yang memungkinkan antarmuka pengguna yang responsif dan interaktif. Metode Newton-Raphson, yang dikenal karena efisiensinya dalam menemukan akar persamaan non-linear, diimplementasikan dalam aplikasi ini untuk memberikan solusi yang cepat dan akurat. Fitur utama dari aplikasi ini mencakup visualisasi numerik dari proses iterasi, serta tutorial dan dokumentasi komprehensif tentang penggunaan metode Newton-Raphson. Aplikasi ini dievaluasi dengan menguji berbagai persamaan non-linear, yang menunjukkan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan praktis pengguna. Pengembangan di masa depan akan difokuskan pada integrasi metode numerik tambahan dan peningkatan performa aplikasi untuk pengalaman belajar yang optimal.Kata kunci: Newton-Raphson, Persamaan Non-linear, Iterasi, Aplikasi Web, React.js, Metode Numerik

Abstract

The Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) is one of the most important data modeling techniques in the database design process. ERDs are used to represent data in a conceptual form before being implemented into the actual database schema. By using an ERD, developers can illustrate the relationships between entities, the attributes possessed by each entity, and the types of relationships that occur between these entities.The use of ERDs in database design has several main benefits. First, ERDs help to accurately and consistently model data requirements before the implementation stage. Second, ERDs provide a clear visual representation of the data structure, facilitating communication and understanding among team members. Third, ERDs serve as the basis for designing an efficient and well-structured database schema.Despite being an essential technique, many developers still struggle with creating accurate and appropriate ERDs. Errors in designing ERDs can cause serious problems in database implementation, such as data redundancy, anomalies, or even data loss. Therefore, a deep understanding of the concepts and rules in creating ERDs is crucial.In this journal, an example of a correct ERD will be presented along with a detailed explanation of each entity, attribute, and relationship involved. This discussion is expected to provide guidance for readers in designing accurate ERDs that meet the requirements, thereby producing an efficient database.

Abstract

Developing a user interface and user experience for a web-based psychological test application at Universal University, especially the Uvers Career Center (UCC), is a technology that is needed to make the appearance of an application non-monotonous and dynamic. Previously, psychological test applications that had been developed by previous research did not meet the UCC's own standard requirements. The data source that will be used is qualitative data and uses a usability testing method with the aim of making it easier for users to carry out psychological tests with a display that is in accordance with what is required by the UCC. The final result of the research is designing the user interface and experience of the MindQuiz application which has a usability score of 83.11.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been widely implemented in various types of businesses, both businesses in the sale of products and businesses in the service sector, in order to facilitate the work process. The design of the barbershop service application aims to help manage the service process in the barbershop location area. Based on researchers' observational data, the condition of the barbershop which has many customers every day has service constraints in the queue of orders and payment transactions at the barbershop. This results in loss of customer time as well as from employees and barbershop owners. From this problem, we need a service application that is expected to minimize the density of customer queues in ordering services and payments. The analysis and design of this application aims to help the owner of the barbershop in serving customers, using structured system development (SDLC) modeling that has limits or scope of research that starts from the planning to the design stage, namely the application interface design. So this research can produce customer service application designs that can help solve customer queue service problems.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of learning strategies on the Grade Point Average (GPA) of Generation Z (Gen- Z) students. The background of this research is to understand how the learning strategies used by Gen-Z students affect their GPA. The research aims to analyze the influence of various learning strategies, identify the most effective ones, and demonstrate the use of the Matplotlib library in Python for data visualization. This research is quantitative in nature using statistical methods to evaluate the results. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to students, including the frequency of using learning strategies such as reading books, watching YouTube tutorials, doing practice questions, taking private lessons/online tutoring, and participation in training/seminars/workshops. Data analysis was carried out using Python and the Matplotlib library to visualize the data and provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of the learning strategy implemented. The research results show that active and technology- integrated learning strategies have a significant influence on increasing the academic achievement of Gen-Z students. Specifically, strategies such as watching YouTube tutorials and doing practice questions had a positive correlation with improving students' GPAs. These findings indicate the importance of adapting learning methods that suit the characteristics and learning preferences of Gen-Z students.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mendorong inovasi seperti penggunaan chatbot, yang kini semakin populer dalam berbagai bidang. Namun, seiring meningkatnya penggunaan chatbot, isu keamanan data menjadi semakin krusial. Penelitian ini berfokus pada implementasi teknologi enkripsi dalam perancangan chatbot berbasis Gemini AI untuk meningkatkan keamanan data pengguna. Algoritma enkripsi yang digunakan adalah Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) dengan panjang kunci 256-bit. Proses enkripsi melibatkan inisialisasi kunci, enkripsi teks, dan dekripsi teks. Penelitian ini merancang aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan kerangka kerja Flask dan layanan Google Generative AI. Data pengguna dienkripsi dan disimpan dalam database, kemudian didekripsi saat dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AES-256 memberikan tingkat keamanan yang tinggi tanpa mengurangi kinerja sistem secara signifikan. Implementasi enkripsi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan praktis bagi pengembang untuk meningkatkan keamanan chatbot mereka.
