Abstract

This study investigates the development of a web-based application called Tire Check that can monitor vehicle tire pressure in real-time. This application aims to improve driving safety by providing up-to-date information on tire pressure conditions, which are a major factor causing traffic accidents in Indonesia. This application uses the MPX5700 sensor to measure tire pressure and connects it to a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Analysis, design, implementation, and testing are part of the Waterfall methodology in software development. This application is built with the Laravel framework, using HTML, CSS, and PHP. Its main features include low tire pressure warnings, optimal tire pressure recommendations, and a simple and easy-to-understand user interface. The test results show that the application operates well and can detect tire pressure with 90% accuracy. To ensure that all features work as expected, testing is carried out using the black-box method with positive and negative scenarios. This application reduces the risk of accidents due to flat or burst tires by monitoring tire conditions without manual measuring tools. In addition, additional features such as tire temperature monitoring and compatibility with iOS devices have been developed.

Abstract

The development of information technology has been widely implemented in various types of businesses, both businesses in the sale of products and businesses in the service sector, in order to facilitate the work process. The design of the barbershop service application aims to help manage the service process in the barbershop location area. Based on researchers' observational data, the condition of the barbershop which has many customers every day has service constraints in the queue of orders and payment transactions at the barbershop. This results in loss of customer time as well as from employees and barbershop owners. From this problem, we need a service application that is expected to minimize the density of customer queues in ordering services and payments. The analysis and design of this application aims to help the owner of the barbershop in serving customers, using structured system development (SDLC) modeling that has limits or scope of research that starts from the planning to the design stage, namely the application interface design. So this research can produce customer service application designs that can help solve customer queue service problems.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of learning strategies on the Grade Point Average (GPA) of Generation Z (Gen- Z) students. The background of this research is to understand how the learning strategies used by Gen-Z students affect their GPA. The research aims to analyze the influence of various learning strategies, identify the most effective ones, and demonstrate the use of the Matplotlib library in Python for data visualization. This research is quantitative in nature using statistical methods to evaluate the results. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to students, including the frequency of using learning strategies such as reading books, watching YouTube tutorials, doing practice questions, taking private lessons/online tutoring, and participation in training/seminars/workshops. Data analysis was carried out using Python and the Matplotlib library to visualize the data and provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of the learning strategy implemented. The research results show that active and technology- integrated learning strategies have a significant influence on increasing the academic achievement of Gen-Z students. Specifically, strategies such as watching YouTube tutorials and doing practice questions had a positive correlation with improving students' GPAs. These findings indicate the importance of adapting learning methods that suit the characteristics and learning preferences of Gen-Z students.

Abstract

This article presents the development of a website-based application aimed at improving appointment scheduling and service efficiency in a veterinary clinic, specifically addressing the challenges posed by a manual scheduling system that results in long wait times and customer dissatisfaction. The increasing demand for veterinary services, coupled with the shortage of veterinarians in Indonesia, requires innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency. To address these issues, the waterfall methodology was applied for application development, which includes five stages: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application features a user-friendly interface and efficient backend management, utilizing Next.js for frontend development and Firebase for backend data management. Key functionalities include user login and registration, a responsive homepage, a detailed list of services, an appointment booking system, and a contact page with Google Maps integration. The results show that the application successfully modernizes appointment management, improves communication between pet owners and veterinary staff, and increases overall access to clinic information. The conclusion highlights the effectiveness of the platform in streamlining veterinary services while suggesting future enhancements such as online payment integration, an admin dashboard, enhanced data security, and more extensive user testing to further optimize user experience and operational efficiency. This innovative approach not only addresses current challenges, but also lays the foundation for future advances in veterinary care.

Abstract

New student registration is one of the critical administrative processes in higher education institutions. In the current digital era, web-based systems offer greater practicality compared to the traditional methods, which are often slow and prone to errors. However, many existing systems focus solely on collecting registration data, neglecting the ongoing informational needs of students’ post-registration. This study proposes the design of a web-based registration system that not only facilitates the registration process but also integrates essential features for broadcasting orientation schedules, campus announcements, and other critical information within a single platform. The design incorporates real-time notifications, user-friendly dashboards, and strong data protection measures to enhance user experience and security. Using the waterfall methodology, the study progresses through problem identification, requirements analysis, system design, and prototype evaluation. The resulting prototype, developed using Figma, is tailored to meet the needs of new students and improve campus administrative efficiency. Evaluation results demonstrate that the proposed system effectively bridges gaps in both registration processes and student information management.

Abstract

Naonaru's Kitchen is one of the restaurants that provides a variety of foods such as fried rice, food made from seafood, burgers, pizza and various types of drinks. The current order management system is still running manually starting from recording orders from customers using order paper then handed over the order paper to the kitchen and every day the cashier must recap proof of payment one by one to make income reports. The current running system is considered less effective and can slow down the operational activities of restaurants every day, besides that the current running system causes problems, namely if the condition of the restaurant is crowded then the waiter often forgets which order comes first, order notes are often stacked in the hands of the cashier due to lack of time to the kitchen to inform of incoming orders,  Sometimes the cashier loses the order note when the customer is about to make a payment and takes time to make an income report because the cashier must recap the proof of payment one by one. This research produces a food & beverage ordering information system that helps cashiers in managing food and beverage orders so that they can provide value of menu order effectiveness for customers. This research uses Pieces for Analysis methods, diagram design using UML applications and coding using PHP programming language and MySQL databases, System development using RAD and system testing using blackbox testing.

Abstract

UD. Konveksi Tangerang is a company that operates in the field of ready-to-wear production. Every day there are many requests from customers to produce clothes, jackets, alma maters and t-shirts. The data collection system for incoming orders, production results and current production results reports at UD Konveksi Tangerang is still carried out using conventional methods, namely using paper documents and Microsoft Excel. The current system still has shortcomings, including lack of monitoring of the production process so that the production results are not completed on time, errors occur when inputting the copy of SO and the amount of stock produced, resulting in product discrepancies, making reports takes a long time because the PPC admin has to recapitulate production data from each section one by one. This research produces a production results reporting system which functions to help the production head to record production results reports every day. The research methods used in this research are the analysis method using PIECES, the waterfall development method, creating programs using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, system testing using Blackbox Testing.

Abstract

Cimone Jaya Village is one of the government agencies tasked with providing services to the community for making correspondence. Every day many people come to the village to get correspondence services. Because of the large number of people who come to the village, the village wants to know the number of visitors who come to the village every day to get services because currently the village does not care how many people come to the village to get services so that the village does not know how many people visit the village to get services. This study created a visitor counting tool using an Arduino microcontroller, RFID Reader, RFID card and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). This tool was created to find out the visitor counting system for administrative services in Cimone Jaya Village, to make it easier for the agency in recording administrative service calculations, to create accuracy in the method of calculating administrative services.
