Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students? questioning participation andlearning outcomes of students in class XI IIS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali by applying learning strategy of active knowledge sharing in history subject.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of a plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 34 students of class XI IIS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. Data source was derived from the teacher, the students and the learning prosess. Data collection techniques were implemented by interviews, conducting tests, observations, and documentation. Testing the data validity was done by using triangulation techniques. Data analysis was conducted by using comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The research model used was the spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting).The results showed that the teacher and students are able to apply learning strategy of active knowledge sharing in the learning process, so that the learning process ran well. Teacher's activities in pre-cycle teaching was 63,24% which increased into 75,00% in the first cycle and 91,67% in the second cycle. Students' activities in pre-cycle learning was 59,09% which increased into 77,08% in the first cycle and 93,75% in the second cycle. The implementation of learning strategy of active knowledge sharing can improve questioning participation and learning outcomes of studying history subject of class XI IIS 1 in pre-cycle into the first cycle and from cycle I into cycle II. The students? questioning participation in pre-cycle was 21,88% which increased into 69,70% in the first cycle and 88,24% in the second cycle. The completeness of students? learning outcomes in pre-cycle was 76,47% which increased into 82,35% in the first cycle and succesfully developed into 94,12% in the second cycle.Based on the research findings and discussion, it can be drawn a conclusion that the learning strategy of active knowledge sharing can improve questioning participation and learning outcomes of studying history subject of class XI IIS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali.

Abstract

The objectives of research were: 1) to find out the relationship between understanding of historical values with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. 2) to find out the relationship between social attitude with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. 3) to find out the relationship between understanding of historical values and social attitude simultaneously with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017.This research employed quantitative method with correlational research design. The population of research was all of the XI IPS students of SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. Constinting of 130 students. The sample used  in this study consisted of 98 students. The sample was taken using random sampling technique. Technique of collecting data used were test and questionnare. Technique of analyzing data used in this study were correlational and regression analyses.The conclusions of research were as: 1) there is a positively relationship between understanding of historical values with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis showing that tstatistic> ttabel, 2,069>1,664 and significance value 0,039< 0,05 with relative contribution of1,34 %  andeffective contribution of 0,89%. 2) there is a positively relationship between social attitudes with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis showing that tstatistic> ttabel,13,598>1,664 and significance value 0,00< 0,05 with relative contribution of98,68% andeffective contribution of 65,33%. 3) there is a positively relationship between understanding of historical values and social attitude simultaneously with attitude of national integration of the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression variance analysis showing that Fstatistic>Ftabel,93,156>3,090and significance value 0,00< 0,05. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,662 indicated that understanding of historical values and social attitude  affected 66,2 % attitude of national integration of students XI IPS SMA Negeri Gondangrejo year 2016/2017, while the rest affected by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the activity and learning outcome of class X IIS 3 SMAN 1 Banyudono through the implementation of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) with Active Gaming Media.Data and data sources come from students, teachers, and the learning process. The data collection technique is by interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests. Test method validation using triangulation techniques, data analysis using comparative descriptive technique.The results of this study indicate that: (1) the application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve the activity of the students. This can be seen in the percentage of achievement indicators of students learning activeness in the questionnaire, on the pracycle percentage of activity just touch 54,28% and then at the first cycle the average achievement of students' learning activeness amounted to 74.98% and the second cycle increased to 81.20%, this acquisition meets the achievement indicators for 75%; (2) application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve student learning outcomes. It daat seen in the percentage of the value of cognitive test results on the first cycle that show 47.82% increased in the second cycle to 100%, these results have exceeded the target of achieving set at about 90%.Conclusions from this research is the application of learning models TAI with Active Gaming Media can improve the studentactivity and learning outcome.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe (1) Background, (2) Curriculum, (3) Scenario, (4) Implementation, (5) Obstacle, about: historical learning of Cerdas Istimewa Class in SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri.The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research with research strategy used is single rooted case study. The research subject are teacher and students class X and XI of Cerdas Istimewa in SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri. Technique of collection data are deep interviews, direct observation and document analysis. Data validity using data triangulation and triangulation method. While technique of data analysis used is interactive type, which are data reduction, data course, and conclusion retraction or verification.The research results showing that (1) background of  Cerdas Istimewa class program is to filtering students who have more capability, so that their progress will be directioned. (2) curriculum usedin Cerdas Istimewa is Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). (3) scenario in historical learning in Cerdas Istimewa Class, the history teacher analyzing KI and KD, copying syllabus, also compiling Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) suitable f this research is the implementation of learning in Cerdas Istimewa is adopted with characteristic and with Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). (4) The Implementation of historical learning in Cerdas Istimewa Class, consist of three steps learning, they are introduction by teacher with delivering the goal and discussing previous study, in core activity, historical teacher implementing three steps, they are exploration, elaboration, anf confirmation, and after that in closing activity, teacher along with students conclude the learning result, doing valuation, and delivering the upcoming study. (5) Obstacle experienced by historical teacher in historical learning of Cerdas Istimewa Class is experienced by teacher is the hardship on time management because of crash scedule. Obstable experienced by students is, the students of Cerdas Istimewa having different learning source one to another and it confuse them in learning. The solution for those obstocles is by replacing the learning activity that already  been filled with another activity or asking the students to learn it by them self at home, later suggesting the students to follow the modul. Not just that, students also active to filtering the information from internet  provided by the school.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to enhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of students in class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta by implementing the cooperative learning modelssuch as snowball throwing model in history subject.This research is a class behaviour research (CBR). The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consist with a plan, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 30 students of class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. Source of data was derived from the teacher, the students and the learning process. Data collection techniques were implemented by conducting tests, observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Testing the data validity was by using triangulation techniques. Data analysis was conducted by using comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The research model used was the spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting).The results showed that the teacher could be categorized as be able to teach well in the learning process, so that the learning process ran well. The ability of teachers to teach in pre-cycle was 62,50% which increased to 79,50% in the first cycle and 85,71% in the second cycle. The implementation of snowball throwing could enhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of studying history subject of class XI IIS  4 in pre-cycle to the first cycle and from cycle I to cycle II. The students? activeness in pre-cycle was 50,15% which increased to 60,17% in the first cycle and 82.10% in the second cycle. The completeness ofstudents? learning outcomes in pre-cycle was 40,40% which increased to 62,80% in the first cycle and successfully developed to 82,00% in the second cycle.Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be drawn the conclusion that the snowball throwingenhance the students? activeness and learning outcomes of class XI IIS 4 SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to determine (1) learning assessment planning conducted by history teacher based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo; (2) learning assessment implementation conducted by history teacher based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo; (3) the obstacles faced by history teacher in learning assessment based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo; (4) the solutions to overcome the obstacles experienced by history teacher in doing learning assessment based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo.This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interview, and document analysis. Data validity was done through method triangulation and source triangulation. Technique of analyzing data used by the author was an interactive model of analysis.The results showed that (1) history learning assessment planning in SMA N 2 Sukoharjo has already matched with the reference in curriculum 2013, namely Education and Culture Minister Regulation Number 53 of 2015. The history teacher has made the design or implementation for knowledge (cognitive) aspect and skills (psychomotor) in the beginning of the semester. Besides, for attitude (affective) aspect, the teacher only uses instruments prepared by the school; (2) the implementation of history learning assessment based on curriculum 2013 in SMA N 2 Sukoharjo generally has been in accordance with the reference of assessment in curriculum 2013, namely Education and Culture Minister Regulation Number 53 of 2015. Learning assessment implementation on the aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skill showed that history teacher has already understood about various methods and assessments in curriculum 2013 impelementation; (3) the obstacles in the learning assessment of history subject based on curriculum 2013 in SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo, are: teacher difficulties in assessing students? attitude, the teacher doesn?t have enough time for students assessment based on curriculum 2013, too many students in one classroom  make teacher difficult to assess students deeply, especially for attitude aspect; (4) The solutions in overcoming those obstacles, are: reproducing students? attitude assessment, starts from small things; Doing checking students? attendance in the beginning of the  lesson; not assessing all indicators in one day, the important thing, in the end of the semester all indicators have been assessed; the school provides a simple application to facilitate teachers in calculating the final grade.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning achievement and historical awareness of students of Social 2 grade XI Senior High School 1 Boyolali by applying Group Investigation learning method (GI) by using documentary.This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research is conducted in two cycles, which is consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects are students of Social 2 grade XI Senior High School 1 Boyolali which is consisting 31 people. Source of data is derived from the teachers, students and the learning process. Data collection technique is conducted by interviewing, observing, testing, giving questionnaires and document analyzing. This research uses triangulation that consist of triangulation data or sources and triangulation methods.The result shows that the teacher?s and students? activities in learning process can be categorized as good which means the learning process in History class goes well. The achievement of learning activities in precycle is 66.92% increases to 75.73% in the first cycle and increases to 84.09% in the second cycle. The implementation of Group Investigation (GI) method by using documentary has improved learning achievement and historical awareness of Social 2 grade XI of Senior High School 1 Boyolali of precycle to the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle.Based on the results of research finding and discussion, it can be concluded thatteaching history by applying Group Investigation (GI) learning method can improve learning achievement and the historical awareness of Social 2 grade XI of Senior High School 1 Boyolali.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase history subject learning achievement by the implementation of cooperative learning model with question student have dan talking stick technique in SMA Batik 1 Class IPS XI. Method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research used two research-cycles, every research cycles consist of planning session, action session, observation session, and reflection session. Subject of this research are fourty seven students in SMA Batik 1 Class IPS XI. The source of research data came from the teacher and students. This research used observation, interviewing, specific instrument test, and document as data collecting technique. Data crosschecked is used as data validation technique. Analytic Description is used as analyzing technique. Result describe the implementation of cooperative learning model with question student have dan talking stick technique able to increase history subject learning achievement from pre-cycles to cycles II. Student learning achievement is measured by affective aspect, cognitive aspect, and psychomotor aspect. In pre-cycles, 28 students (59,58%) pass the cognitive passing grade, 27 students (57,44%) pass the affective passing grade, no students pass the  psychomotor passing grade. In cycles I, 37 students (78,72%) pass the cognitive passing grade, 43 students (91,49%) pass the affective passing grade with excellent, 20 students (42,54%) pass the  psychomotor passing grade with excellent grade. In cycles II, 45 students (95,74%) pass the cognitive passing grade, 47 students (100%) pass the affective passing grade with excellent grade, 45 students (95,75%) pass the  psychomotor passing grade with excellent grade. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model with question student have dan talking stick technique in SMA Batik 1 Class IPS XI successfully increase student learning achievement in history subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) to determine the effect comprehension of national movement history with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, 2) to determine the effect attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, 3) to determine the effect comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta.This research is descriptive quantitative by draw conclusion through statistical analysis. The population of research were all student of class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 surakarta. The sample consisted of 125 students taken using simple randong sampling technique. The data need was obtained through test and questionare. The test and questionare was tried out first and tasted for its validity and reliability. The tecnique of analizing data used was a multiple linear regresion analysis, F-, t-, R2-test, and relative and effective contribution.The conclusion of this study were: 1) There is a significant and positive effect comprehension of nationality movement history with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regresion analysis (t test) showing that tstatistic>ttable, 2.069>1.657 and the significance value 0.041<0.05 with the relative contribution of 8.93% and effective contribution of 3.46%. 2) There is a significant and positive effect attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regresion analysis (t test) showing that tstatistic>ttable, 8.137>1.657 and significance value 0.000<0.05 with relative contribution 91.11% and effective contribution of 35.26%. 3) There is a positive and significant effect comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism along with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This is based on linear regresiona analysis (F test) known that Fstatistic>Ftable, is 38.504>3.070 and significance value 0.000<0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.387 indicate that comprehension of national movement history and attitude of nationalism with nationality concept in class XI IPS SMA Batik 1 Surakarta year 2015/2016 affected 38.75, while the rest was affected by other variables.

Abstract

This research is aimed to improve the students? activeness and historical awareness of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 by implementing Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning Method using question card.This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out by two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the 22 students of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. The data were collected from the teacher, students, and learning process. The data were collected by test, observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using interactive model which consists of some steps: reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusion or verification.The result of this research showed that the learning process was done well. In the pre-research, the percentage of the activity accomplishment was 78.14%, increased to 87.51% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 94.77% in the 2nd cycle. The students? activeness in the pre-research was 71.51%, increased to 77.87% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 85.30% in the 2nd cycle. The students? historical awareness was 77.63% in the pre-research, increased to 78.84% in the 1st cycle, and increased to 81.30% in the 2nd cycle.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that teaching history using Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning Method which uses question card is able to improve the students? activeness and historical awareness of the class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta.
