Abstract

Abstract

Tuberculosis in combination with other diseases is more severe. Tuberculosis is one of the oldest insidious diseases. Tuberculosis affects not only the lungs, but also all organs and systems. Currently, against the backdrop of an extremely high prevalence of arterial hypertension (AH) among the population, there is a steady tendency to an increase in the proportion of persons in the structure of hypertension in combination with tuberculosis. The prevalence of hypertension among people over the age of 30 varies from 3.4% to 40.7% [1,2]. The age of onset of hypertension, which was previously considered only for adults, has decreased significantly, and hypertension is registered in earlier age groups [3,4].

Abstract

Information Communication Technology is one of the instructional aides available for the implementation of teaching programmed in all educational institutions especially in the public secondary schools. However, the deployment of Information communication technologies for the teaching and learning of Economics in Federal capital seem to be faced with many challenges. This paper discussed the factors hindering effective deployment of ICT for teaching and learning in Federal Capital Territory. Empirical papers on ICT both print and softcopies were collected and used in this paper. The empirical papers were sourced from physical libraries and online. Inadequate funding, inadequate ICT facilities, unstable power supply, poor internet services, high cost of ICT facilities, shortage of ICT expertise, poor implementation of ICT policies, poor implementation of ICT policies, poor ICT literacy of Economics teachers and poor ICT literacy of Economics Students were identified as the factors hindering effective deployment of ICT for teaching and learning of economics in Federal capital Territory, Abuja. To address these problems, the following were recommended; that the government should increase the funding of the ICT programs in all the public secondary schools in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This will make funds available for school administrators to purses adequate ICT facilities for students’ use and the government should provide adequate ICT facilities in all public secondary schools in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This will provide opportunities for Economics teachers and students to use ICT for teaching and learning in their schools etc.

Abstract

When it comes to the linguocultural features of proverbs, of course, we cannot help but talk about the specific national character and mentality of nations. Because folk proverbs, which concisely convey the culture, history and customs of the people, are at the forefront of expressing the mentality of the people. The article analyzes the linguocultural features of some proverbs in English and Uzbek, shows the unique national traditions of both peoples, the expression of the specific national character in everyday life. Basically, through critical analysis of proverbs in both languages, we try to explore more of their differences and express the commonalities of their similarities using the necessary resources.

Abstract

The epidemiological turmoil observed in recent years around the world has had a significant impact on all areas of human activity, including tourism around the world. According to statistics from the World Tourism Organization, tourism in the world in 2020 clearly showed a decrease of 74% compared to the previous year. The organization analyzed tourism indicators in 2021 and announced its forecasts for when tourism will return to its pre-pandemic status. This article focuses on the pre-pandemic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the growth rate of annual tourist visits, the cost of exported tourist services, the purpose of tourists' visits to our country, which region and which countries attract the most tourists. , were informed about the number of hotels served by them and their distribution by regions. The main directions of tourism in the country and their development were discussed.
