Abstract

The end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries was distinguished from other centuries by its splendor in the civilization of mankind. The rapid development of capitalist relations and the influence of colonial wars, inspired by capitalist relations, did not cease to affect both Central Asia and its adjacent territory Afghanistan. These territories became the robbed territory between the Great Britain and the Russian Empire of the great imperialist countries. Because of the rich raw materials and resources, cheap labor force and economic base, this area remained undeveloped because of the low development of Science in the khanates, both empires could serve as a decisive material basis for the development of their economy. However, in the period under study, the gross development of capitalist relations was the main impetus for the policy of colonialism, which was the main means of replenishing the raw material base of states. As a result, the British and Russian Empire entered with the zeal of power there in order to take the khanates into their sphere of influence. For this purpose, many military and ambassadorial missions were organized by the empires. The relevance of this research work is that the object of the scientific research conducted so far is focused on more and more political activities, and since the participation of Afghan citizens living in the political life of society in Central Asia has been poorly studied, the focus has been on the social and economic life of Afghans as the main subject.Different political processes, due to social economic pressures, the Afghan citizens who came to the region of Turkistan and live permanently or temporarily among other nations also had their rightful place in the socio-economic and political life of the country.Their activity was preserved in various scientific literature, in the Central State Archive of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the corresponding figures. It is beyond doubt that these sources justify the veracity of the information presented. Therefore, the sources related to the period under study are analyzed accordingly, it was studied and used in scientific research work.

Abstract

The article presents studies of water resistance and air resistance of filling mixtures based on industrial waste and the effect of aggressive media on their durability. The influence of the quantity and quality of copper-smelting slag and fly ash on the resistance of filling mixtures in various aggressive environments has been investigated. It has been established that the use of copper-smelting slag, with a low content of harmful impurities, makes it possible to obtain a slag-cement binder that is more resistant to aggressive media.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study to determine the optimal mode of the process of obtaining activated carbon from the shell of fruit seeds. The conditions of the processes of carbonization and activation of the shell of apricot and peach seeds were studied, determining the bulk density, ash content and adsorption activity of the resulting product for each temperature regime. Based on the obtained experimental results, the corresponding nomograms were compiled.

Abstract

This experiment was carried to evaluate the “Effect of dietary supplementation of Garlic (Allium sativum) oil on carcass quality, growth performance and cost implication of broiler chickens”. A total of 180 day–old- (Arboacre) broiler chicks of mixed sex was used in this study which lasted for eight (8) weeks. The birds were divided into four experimental groups; each group was further subdivided into three replicates of fifteen birds per each in a Complete Randomized Design (CRD). The birds were fed on two basal diets (Starter and finisher) throughout the experimental period. The garlic oil (Allum sativum) was added to the basal diet at (0.00, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3%) level respectively. The treatments were T1, T2, T3, and T4 with T1 serving as control. Growth performance, carcass characteristics, and cost implication were recorded. At the end of the experiment, the birds were slaughtered, dressed to estimate the different parameters. The result showed that the diet with 0.3% garlic oil inclusion had significantly (P<0.5) higher body weight and best dressing percentage compared with the control treatment (0. 0%).Garlic oil inclusion reduced the mortality rate of the birds as well as productivity. The results on cost implication of the experiment diets indicated that, the diet with 0.3% level of garlic oil has the highest profitability ratio as compared to other treatment groups. This is be due to the higher weight gains recorded by the group of chicken.

Abstract

Thornwaldt's cyst is a rare congenital pathology characterized by the formation of a pathological cavity (pocket) in the nasopharynx. Discharge accumulates inside such a "pocket", which in the future becomes inflamed and a focus of purulent discharge is formed. Symptoms of the disease appear irregularly, but only as the discharge accumulates. Diagnosis of a cyst requires instrumental and radiation studies. Treatment - endoscopic removal of Thornwaldt's cyst or excision of the cyst using a surgical laser.
