Abstract

Climate change is accelerating, putting crucial foundations of environmental, social, and economic growth in jeopardy. Climate change signals seem to be very real for many African countries. For several years, Somalia has been one of the countries that has faced unique climate variability and climate change problems duetoan extreme conflict, environmental degradation and a lack of a stable government. The aim of this study was to understand thepattern relationships between rainfall and temperature in past 1901 to 2015 through retrospective study design. The results show that climate variability was experienced t= 56.395, DF=10, P: 0.000, R=.526a, R2=.277, .205, Std.1.00820andF=3.834. Lastly, the study recommended that April and May are the best months for plantingcrops.

Abstract

Data Journalist can be defined as Journalists who work with numbers "a method of optimizing analysis and news coverage through the use and review of information in order to offer a deeper understanding of a news story and to draw attention to pertinent facts. One trend in journalism's digital age has been to disseminate knowledge to the public through interactive web content created using data visualization tools such as tables, graphs, charts, infographics, microsites, and visual worlds. In-depth analysis of certain data sets may result in more detailed conclusions and assumptions about current hot topics. Additionally, data journalism will shed light on previously unrecognized topics that were ostensibly ignored by the news media. With the invention of knowledge and communication technologies, our ways of living and communicating, making decisions, and knowing reality have been revised. By adding a quantitative portion, the fundamental tenet of existence is altered. By incorporating computational thinking into newsrooms, the traditional logic of journalism has been fundamentally altered. Additionally, the linear narration was altered to provide a more engaging and enjoyable experience. Access to troves of open data enables one to understand, explain, and express reality in the digital era.

Abstract

In this work, an application of interval type-2 fuzzy logic algorithm for evaluation of quality of service is proposed. The work uses delay, jitter, and packet loss as input parameters to evaluate the quality of service. The membership function (MF) terms, MF partitions, universe of discourse and linguistic variables is collected for use in designing the fuzzy logic model. The model was implemented using the Java programming language on Netbeans IDE. The implemented model was tested using 15 datapoints from the input module. The results of the system shows that when there is low rate (69) of network DELAY, low rate (10) of JITTER, and high rate (92) of PACKET LOSS then quality of service will not be so good (Moderate quality of service) (61% quality of service).

Abstract

The Novel COVID-19 global outbreak has further increased the benefits and importance of business continuity in challenging scenarios like this pandemic. The impact of technology in the marketing system cannot be over emphasized. This project work has explored the use of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) popularly known as drone in an electronic marketing delivery system to improve the delivery services offered by online shops/ e-businesses which encourages speed in the delivery of goods/ items. A model has been created for the implementation of this system. The Geocode and general Google map API has been used to get a marker for the source and destination on the map that tracks the longitude and latitude of the delivery destination delivery location. The development of the system has focused on the development of the software and not the synchronization of the software and the drone. The system has performed well meeting all the demands of the process.

Abstract

Ferula asafoetida is a strong, durable and sulfur-smelling oleo-gum resin with medicinal and nutritional value. Asafoetida has been consumed as a spice and folk medicine for centuries. Recent studies have identified a number of promising activities, including antioxidant, neuroprotective, memory enhancing, digestive enzyme, antioxidant, antispasmodic, hypotensive, hepatoprotective, antimicrobial, anticarcinogen, anticancer, antitoxic, antiobesitic, andanthelmic. This review deals effectively with various pharmacological and clinical studies of phytochemistry and asafoetida.
