Abstract

In this research, the Blockchain Merkle Tree, which plays a decisive role in ensuring the integrity and security of data in the blockchain network, is analyzed. The Merkle Tree, also known as a hash tree, is a fundamental concept in blockchain technology. Named after Ralph Merkle, the Merkle Tree is a hierarchical data structure composed of cryptographic hash functions. The Merkle Tree provides several benefits in a blockchain context. First and foremost, it allows for efficient verification of data integrity. Instead of needing to validate each and every transaction in a block, a participant can simply verify the Merkle root and a small number of other hashes in the tree to ensure that the data hasn't been tampered with.

Abstract

Cotton harvesting factories were established as separate independent enterprises. Their products are used as raw materials in other textile factories or in other industries. The capacity of cotton-spinning factories is determined by the number of cameras and the number of products produced. The most effective organization of serial production at textile enterprises. It is desirable to constantly plan production in market conditions.

Abstract

This study explores the perceptions, fears, and nuanced opinions of Rwandans regarding the presence and potential misuse of Pegasus spyware, a globally controversial surveillance tool. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, we conducted a comprehensive survey involving 1,000 respondents, both within Rwanda and in diaspora, representing diverse age groups and genders. The research findings reveal a pervasive awareness of Pegasus among the respondents, with 80% expressing strong concerns about its potential misuse for surveillance. Moreover, a substantial 95% of respondents believe that the Rwandan government either currently uses or has previously employed Pegasus for surveillance purposes, while 70% assert that its deployment in Rwanda raises significant worries about privacy and individual rights. Notably, 80% of respondents associate the presence of Pegasus with a negative impact on freedom of speech and expression. Drawing from these findings, our study recommends a multifaceted approach, including stringent regulatory measures, technical safeguards, and an informed public discourse on surveillance technologies. It emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts involving governments, the private sector, and citizens to ensure the responsible and ethical deployment of surveillance tools like Pegasus, extending beyond Rwanda's borders to address global concerns. This research contributes to the ongoing global conversation about the delicate balance between national security imperatives and the preservation of individual privacy in the age of advancing digital surveillance technologies.

Abstract

It is necessary to develop design principles and methods based on morphological synthesis and analysis of technical solutions to solve the problem of optimal design of power supply systems for a telecommunications power supply system. The essence of the morphological method is that it is necessary to determine several morphological features that are important for the problem being solved, and to make all possible combinations of these features. Its advantage over other methods is that it is possible to analyze the functional characteristics of the power supply system, its actions in a dynamic mode under the influence of changes in the network, load and change the mode of the operation. This article studys the optimal structure of the telecommunications power supply system.

Abstract

The study titled "Exploring Factors Affecting Gender Disparities in Enrollment Patterns Within Technical Colleges: A Study of Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trade in Gombe State" seeks to address the persistent gender disparities in enrollment within Technical Colleges, focusing specifically on the Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trade program in Gombe State. The study was guided by three research question and hypotheses. The total population for this study was 527 including administrators, teachers and parents of Motor Vehicle Mechanic Work trade students in Government Science and Technical Colleges in Gombe State. The sample size of the study was 116 determined using stratified random sampling. The methodology employs a descriptive survey research design within the context of Gombe State in Nigeria. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire developed by the researcher, focusing on teachers, school administrators, and parents. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistics, means, standard deviations, and ANOVA to address the research questions and test the hypotheses. The findings of the study reveal that both teachers' and school factors significantly influence female students' enrollment in the Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trade program. Additionally, various strategies are identified as potential enhancers of female enrollment. Recommendations include enhancing teacher training, establishing guidance and counseling services, creating supportive environments, employing female technical trainers, and providing targeted skill acquisition centers to promote and enhance female enrollment in the Motor Vehicle Mechanic Trade program.

Abstract

In recent years, global interest in blockchain technologies and their possible impact have permeated the public consciousness. Blockchain is essentially software made up of records of digital transactions that are grouped together into “blocks” of information and shared securely across computers on a shared network. Blockchain pilot programs are being implemented around the world in a variety of ways. Numerous nations are presently preferring the utilization of blockchain technology. The rapid growth of blockchain has prompted governments around the world to explore ways to regulate it. This paper summarizes the current blockchain adoption and regulation in ten countries.
