Journal Comasie is a journal that combines 3 science namely informatics engineering, information systems and industrial engineering. The theme and scope can be seen in the scope section. This journal was created as a means of publicizing the results of research conducted by lecturers and students. This journal is published 3 times a year or every 4 months in a year. The main purpose of this journal is to facilitate students who want to publish their scientific work so that it will increase the profusion of knowledge. We on behalf of all the managers express gratitude for all efforts and support in the publication of this journal and our great hope that this journal can be a reference for the community in improving technology and to advance Indonesia (Amrizal, Andi, Welly, Rashid)

Abstract

Narkoba is an abbreviation for narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive materials. Drugs themselves can be interpreted as artificial substances that affect the behavior, thoughts, feelings, and conditions of the consumer. Drugs or narcotics can also be interpreted as natural, semi-synthetic, or synthetic substances or drugs that can cause decreased consciousness, excitability, and hallucinations. These drugs cause addiction due to excessive use. The reason for using forward chaining is that many different methods and rules for drawing conclusions are very simple, and researchers want to draw conclusions from the truth. To overcome this problem, researchers use the forward chaining method, which allows them to find solutions based on symptom data selected by the user. The system built can provide suggestions in the form of diagnostic results and solutions based on the facts presented.

Abstract

This study discusses the re-layout design of the tobacco warehouse on primary warehouse at PT. Alcotraindo Batam. The problems in the primary warehouse are that the placement isn’t optimal. The stages of the research started from calculating the frequency of movements, classifying goods, determining the amount of storage and making a proposed layout by adding shelves to the loose pack area and changing shape of the box arrangement to pallets. The results of this study found that the frequency movement, goods were grouped into class A which contained 2 items of goods, class B which contained 7 items of goods, and class C which contained 137 items of goods. By applying the proposed layout to increase warehouse capacity, only 146 locations out of 204 available locations are used in the primary store. It has empty locations to put 58 location areas or 303 large pallets and 126 small pallets. The remaining locations are used in case of an increase in demand for goods. The previous layout capacity was 649 pallets and the proposed layout capacity was 1078 pallets. The storage capacity of goods in the primary store increased by 39.8%.

Abstract

PT Dinamika Anugerah is a local company that produces oil seals and rubber molding for the needs of the automotive and non-automotive industries in Indonesia. The oil seal is a component on the engine part that functions to seal off the lubricant and prevent dirt and dust from entering the engine. The problem experienced by PT Dinamika Anugerah was the 33 NMB oilseal product which had a defective product exceeding the company's tolerance for defects, namely 0.5%. The number of Oil seal NMB products was 33 from September 2021 to August 2022, the percentage of defective products was 1.0290%. This research uses the method used is the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method to control quality control. As well as FTA to find loopholes to improve and minimize defective products and provide repair solutions with 5W + 1H and Based on the results of the analysis using Check Sheets it is known that the average defective caused by Spring 12 months material with a quantity of defective products is 1712 out of a total production of 166416 product is 1.0290%. When compared with the tolerance limit of the company's defective products (by 0.5%) this exceeds the tolerance limit so that the analysis of the causes of defective products and From the fishbone diagram above, it can be seen that defective Spring Pop out occurs due to several factors, namely coming from human/worker factors, production machines, working methods.

Abstract

The water hyacinth plant is a type of aquatic plant flora that is considered a weed or pest because of the damage it does to water systems and the water supply. To a large extent, reservoirs with an influx of garbage are to blame for the rapid expansion of water hyacinth. Water hyacinth has a rapid growth rate at Batam City's Duriangkang reservoir. The hyacinth population will double in size in a couple of days. Ultimately, this study aims to inform the creation of a cutting-edge bag style made from water hyacinth. Research suggests that asking a representative sample of young people what kinds of bag products they would be interested in buying would be the best method to inform the design of a bag product catering to the needs of this demographic. Based on the survey data collected, a plan of action is developed for manufacturing bag products that both meet consumer demand and stay within budget. This plan calls for the use of low-cost raw materials without sacrificing quality, such as water hyacinth, which can be obtained in large quantities

Abstract

PT HLN Rubber Batam is a molding company engaged in the production and management of Rubber Cromets/rubber into semi-finished goods (seal rubber) which will be redistributed to other companies so that it becomes a marketable product. Based on data from 2020-2022 there have been several cases of work accidents, namely, when cutting NBR material (hard material) so that it injured the fingers resulting in several stitches on the fingers totaling 3 people, another work accident was injuries to the eyelids due to not wearing safety glasses when they want to work totaling 7 people. To reduce the number of work accidents, it is necessary to carry out work accident prevention programs, namely by implementing Risk Management to find out the hazards and potential risks that exist in the workplace. The hazard identification process is a part of risk management. Risk assessment includes hazard identification, hazard potential analysis, risk assessment, risk control, as well as monitoring and evaluation. In the process of identifying and analyzing potential hazards, the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method can be used.
