Abstract

Efektivitas mesin produksi merupakan metode pengukuran seberapa baik suatu mesin atau peralatan produksi bekerja untuk mencapai target produksi (output) yang diinginkan dengan meminimalkan pemborosan, waktu henti dan biaya opersional produksi. Proses produksi akan bekerja efektif apabila mesin mampu bekerja sesuai dengan jangka waktu tertentu tanpa adanya gangguan yang berarti dan termasuk kecepatan mesin bekerja.Penelitian membahas mesin press yang mengalami kendala, seperti downtime yang tinggi menyebabkan produk tidak sesuai standar secara kualitas dan kuantitas. Pendekatan Overall Equipment Efectiveness (OEE) menjadi salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pekerjaan mengukur seberapa efektif mesin yang diuraikan dalam tiga rasio utama adalah availability, performance efficiency, dan rate of quality.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai OEE diperoleh rata-rata 73% sehingga nilai ini masih dibawah standar world class 85% artinya nilai ini rendah, tetapi Perusahaan mempunyai ruang untuk dikembangkan. Faktor utama nilai avaibility yang diperoleh 79%, nilai performance rate 86%, dan quality ratio 97% menunjukkan penjadwalan dan perawatan mesin secara rutin belum dilakukan, sehingga menyebabkan gangguan dan kerusakan mesin. Abstract

Technological developments have a huge impact on the world of education. Today's advanced technology is very helpful for humans in doing their work, so it must be applied to get its benefits. Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is network technology in the logical grouping of users and equipment connected to the network connected to administratively defined ports on a switch regardless of the location of the switch is placed. With VLANs, a Local Area Network (LAN) can be divided into several different segments. VLANs also allow for the consolidation of networks that are physically separate, but as if they were in the same segment. The main aim of this training is to create students who can apply VLAN and Routing technologies to make it easier to do network-related work and understand how to use it. After the service was carried out, the knowledge of students is increasing, marked by the results of the evaluation that is carried out at the end of each service session in each material topic. The improvement of students' understanding also increased in router and VLAN configurations, characterized by the ability of students to do configuration exercises without assistance from service members. From this service activity, it can be concluded that the service went smoothly, and the students' knowledge became more about routing and VLAN.

Abstract

Salah satu elemen pembangunan sanitasi adalah masalah persampahan. Kesehatan dan lingkungan akan terjejas oleh kondisi sanitasi yang buruk. Sampah dapat digunakan sebagai sumber daya dan meminimalkan kerusakan lingkungan. Jumlah sampah rumah tangga yang meningkat, baik organik maupun anorganik, adalah salah satu masalah yang ada di daerah pemukiman. Hasil penelitian di Batu Aji, Batam, menunjukkan bahwa budaya manajemen pengelolaan sampah masih belum ideal. Tujuan dari inisiatif masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat, terutama dalam hal kesehatan dan ekonomi. Dua aspek penting mempengaruhi era tatanan kehidupan baru. Pengadian akan menggunakan metode 3R untuk mengelola sampah. Berdasarkan hasil pembinaan pengelolaan sampah yang berjalan menggunakan metode 3R (Reduce, Reuse, dan Rcycle) di Kelurahan Kibing, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat sekitar tentang metode 3R meningkat. Metode ini mencakup kegiatan seperti mengurangi sampah (reduce), menggunakan kembali (reuse), dan mendaur ulang (recycle). Melakukan pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik lagi dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian tambahan menunjukkan bahwa individu lain, seperti anak-anak, memerlukan instruksi lanjutan tentang cara pemilahan sampah yang baik dan benar. Juga, ibu-ibu harus diberi instruksi tentang cara menggunakan kompos dan keuntungan ekonomi pengelolaan sampah lainnya.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in home businesses is not only related to product quality which is not uniform, but also in the aspect of product development. Household businesses in the Tembesi area are one area whose residents have many businesses, especially in the food sector, but are constrained in terms of quality and development. The aim of this community service is to help businesses in the Tembesi environment to carry out innovation and business development in accordance with standardization in order to create uniformity and product quality. The method used by the lecturer service team is to provide guidance and counseling to business actors in the Tembesi area. The extension material is divided into 3 categories, namely idea alignment, product innovation, and profit and loss calculations. Based on the results of the coaching, there are points that need to be considered, namely: (1) Partners feel that they are quite helped in terms of coaching, (2) Partners have a desire to improve product quality, and (3) Partners have better financial management. However, there are obstacles that must be considered, such as: (1) Not all partners agree because they still adhere to conventional principles, (2) Partners do not want to take risks because their business is already quite profitable for them. Based on this, the lecturer service team needs to further develop and carry out counseling in stages so that the program proposed by the service team can run optimally.

Abstract

Waste is a serious problem that is often encountered in today's society. This community service activity was carried out in Tembesi Village, Batam Regency. The knowledge and practices of waste management in the Tembesi Village community are still limited. Inadequate supporting facilities also worsen this situation. Therefore, it is important to increase public awareness so that they don't just throw away rubbish, but also educate them on how to sort waste. Based on these problems, this community service activity aims to provide a solution through education on the importance of maintaining cleanliness, sorting and separating organic and inorganic waste and utilizing waste that has been processed in such a way that it has economic value. The actual form of this activity is to support the provision of separate waste bin facilities. The method used in carrying out this service activity is education. Through this service activity, the community becomes aware of the importance of maintaining cleanliness, understands better how to sort waste independently and better understands the benefits. Apart from that, Tembesi residents can also feel the benefits of processing waste using the 3R method, namely Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The process is fast and does not cost much, is an action that needs to be done by the company to be able to achieve profits. Design is a strategy to support the achievement of the company in the production that is carried out, namely carrying out design activities which aim to provide a new design of the process by designing tools as a solution to the problem of its long production time. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company in the electronics industry which is engaged in the production of hard disk drive components, but the company did not arrive at the assembly, only making spare part components of these products. Problems occur when arranging the outer device crash stop charger product into the packaging media tray which is done one by one using tweezers, so that it has an impact on the long preparation time. Arranging the product into the media tray. Products that have round dimensions and diameters (2.63 x 1.08 x 4.03) mm, make it difficult for operators to arrange into holes in the tray and require a long time of 9.13 minutes. Design for.Manufacturing.and Assembly is the deepening of two methods namely Design for.Manufactur design that focuses on ease in manufacturing and DFA (Design for Assembly) design focuses on ease when the product assembly process. The successful implementation of JIG Arranging tools using the DFMA design method gave an increase in the Arranging process by 130%, where before 38 processes were 88 times a day. The Arranging process experienced an acceleration of time in a process where previously using Tweezers took 9.13 minutes, now using JIG Arranging only needed 3.95 minutes. Abstract

PT MEB a company of electric energy in Batam. With production system integrated system by another, make the operational system machine primary production more complex and challenging. Because it, required control operational management system new and innovative point effectiveness to maintain optimal effectiveness level production so maintain capability of competitive and position company as quality electric producer. Research objectives know the level percentage value effective performance machine production and know causes factor effective performance machine does not maximum. Used the method OEE, cause of performance not maximum know through indicators 3 main categories. As for analysis calculation six big losses be to find out detail kind of waste. The benefits research adds to the literature for readers and writers the future understanding related the topic, give scientific work efforts to improve the effective performance the machine production in the company. Get the value percentage of research conclusion OEE production machine gas turbine generator at 83,49%, so the values still below OEE word class standart. Performance efficiency is major factor most influences the performance machine production not optimum at 88,67%. Analysis six big losses, get the speed losses as major factor the largest losses

Abstract

This research is conducted on aircraft structure workers at PT ABC, Batam. To determine the level of ergonomic risk and an overview of MSDs complaints experienced by workers. The design of this research is Analytical descriptive Cross Sectional. This research was carried out by observation and giving questionnaires to aircraft structure workers are working in lower fuselage. The results obtained in this study have a high risk (10) in the activity of dismantling the tail skid in the lower fuselage, the most common subjective complaint of MSDs that is felt in the waist and upper neck (85%). The Pearson correlation test shows that there is no correlation between age, sex, work experience, and smoking habits in MSDs complaints. therefore, need improvement steps from PT ABC management.

Abstract

PT Kemet Electronics Indonesia is an international company that produces film capacitor products. An international company is certainly very concerned about the aspects of continuous improvement in its business. One of the jobs that requires repairs to the saction assembly. Where there is work to lift materials weighing up to 85 kg. This work can cause injury to workers if done manually. For this reason, it is necessary to have a problem-solving solution to the current material handling conditions. Axiomatic design is a design methodology that can produce complex design solutions in a systematic and scalable manner. House Of Quality is a tool that can be used to translate customer needs into product specifications so that products can properly satisfy customer needs. Axiomatic House Of Quality (AHOQ) is a combination of the two methods that can be used to produce good designs in a systematic and at the same time measuring design solutions based on customer needs. The research resulted in three functions, each of which is a function domain in each of the physical solution domains. The areas of this function are lifting the overflowing material with a hydraulic system, moving the backed material using the wheel system, and maintaining the quality of the material filled with the clamping arm system. The functional and physical domains are poured into a tool for transporting the coil wire material. With this tool, the work of lifting materials weighing 85 kg is no longer done by humans so that the work safety of employees can be improved.

Abstract

Work fatigue is one of the occupational health and safety problems that can be a risk factor for accidents at work. Fatigue can be caused by several factors, both internal and external factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of fatigue and the factors that affect worker fatigue. This study uses mental workload analysis methods with the NASA TLX assessment questionnaire, and work fatigue with the Subjective Self Rating Test questionnaire from the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC). The population in this study were 18 people. Sampling in this study was carried out by saturated sampling. Primary data collection using a questionnaire and secondary. The data processing technique used data analysis techniques, namely the chi-square test and correlation. Based on the results of research conducted, it was found that the score of work fatigue was 47.17. The score is classified as a high level of fatigue. This means that immediate action is needed to fix it in order to reduce the level of work fatigue which will have an impact on work accidents
