Focus and Scope Journal of Islamic Economic and Law (JIEL) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang berfokus pada kajian teoritis dan empiris seputar bisnis, keuangan, dan perbankan syariah. Jurnal ini bertujuan menjadi wadah publikasi hasil penelitian, pemikiran kritis, serta inovasi dalam praktik bisnis berbasis syariah yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Inovasi Digital dalam Keuangan Syariah Fintech syariah, sistem pembayaran digital, dan integrasi teknologi dalam layanan keuangan Islami. Etika Bisnis Islam dan Good Governance Nilai-nilai etika dan moral dalam praktik bisnis dan manajemen organisasi berbasis prinsip syariah. Investasi Syariah dan Pasar Modal Islam Penelitian terkait sukuk, saham syariah, indeks pasar syariah, dan portofolio investasi Islami. Hukum dan Regulasi Keuangan Syariah Analisis terhadap fatwa, peraturan, serta kebijakan hukum dalam pengelolaan bisnis dan keuangan syariah.

Abstract

Warung Sembako Mak De experienced a decline in turnover due to competition, less strategic location, and conventional marketing strategies, so it needs to be analyzed from a sharia economic perspective. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness strategy in increasing the sales turnover of the Mak De Grocery Store UMKM in Sungai Pasir Putih Village, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, from a sharia economic perspective. This study was motivated by a significant decline in sales turnover in recent years, which was caused by the increasing number of competitors, less strategic business locations, and less than optimal implementation of marketing strategies and business management. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study were the owners of the Mak De grocery store. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the competitiveness strategy applied was still limited to conventional services, competitive prices, and word of mouth promotion. There has been no significant use of digital technology or product innovation. Sales turnover tends to decrease from year to year. However, business actors have tried to apply sharia economic principles such as honesty, trustworthiness, and seeking blessings in business. This study recommends the need for innovation in marketing strategies, the use of simple technology, and the strengthening of Islamic economic principles more comprehensively so that UMKM can develop sustainably.

Abstract

Modern waqf management is an effort to optimize the utilization of waqf assets through management and business approaches in order to achieve public benefit (maslahah) and avoid harm (mafsadah) for the welfare of society. This system emphasizes a more administrative and structural governance and is directly supervised by the government through the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) based on Law Number 14 of 2014 concerning Waqf. The essential elements of modern waqf include the subject of the contract, the object of the contract (mauquf bih), shighat (ijab qabul), and the waqf institution as the managing body. From the perspective of maqashid shariah, modern waqf management is understood as an effort to draw closer to Allah Swt. by dedicating a portion of wealth in an institutionalized manner, thereby providing optimal and sustainable social and humanitarian benefits in accordance with the principles of maqashid shariah.
