Abstract

Contaminated linen can produce large amounts of pathogenic microorganisms. In particular, handling dirty linen is very important to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections. The problems that occur due to nosocomial infections are very complex and can cause losses for patients and hospitals. In addition, unclean washing will leave stains and odors from previous patients so that it can cause discomfort to patients who use it later. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of laundry chemical doses on the quality of cleanliness of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. The design of this study was an experimental quantitative study with a true experimental post test only design approach. With the focus of the research directed to analyze the effect of laundry chemical doses on the quality of cleanliness of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital with a sample of 74 samples taken using the accidental sampling technique. The findings showed that based on the mann whitney test, the value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the laundry chemical dose on the quality of the smell of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. And also obtained a value of 0.001 <0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is an effect of the laundry chemical dose on the visual quality of medical linen at the kediri district general hospital. The provision of laundry chemicals on medical linen in both infectious and non-infectious categories can effectively improve the quality of cleanliness of medical linen and can be proven by the quality of the fresh smell and the visual quality that looks clean.

Patient assessment of health care services is based on patient experience. The aspect of patient experience can be interpreted as a treatment or action from a nurse that is or has been undergone, felt and borne by someone who uses health services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of service quality and perception on the level of patient satisfaction in registering online at the Ngancar Health Center, Kediri Regency. The design of this research is observational quantitative research. with a cross-sectional approach with the focus of the research directed to analyze the influence of service quality and perception on the level of patient satisfaction in registering online at the Ngancar Health Center, Kediri Regency with a population of 72 respondents and a sample of 53 respondents taken using the Accidental Sampling technique. The findings showed that most respondents had a good category of service quality, as many as 27 respondents (50.9%). Most respondents had a good category of perception, as many as 28 respondents (52.8%). Most respondents had a satisfied category of satisfaction. as many as 30 respondents (56.6%). The results of the study using the Test Logistic Regression shows that with a p-value <0.05 then H 1 is accepted so it is concluded that simultaneously there is an influence of service quality and perception on the level of patient satisfaction in registering online at the Ngancar Health Center, Kediri Regency. Respondents are expected to provide input and constructive criticism so that the online registration service provided can be in accordance with expectations.

Abstract

Giving Brain Gym to children is an effective step to facilitate learning activities and adjustments to daily activities in improving views on the material explained by the teacher and can help optimize brain function. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brain Gym in Improving Learning Concentration in Children at SD N Tosaren 4, Kediri City. This research design uses a quasi-experimental design ( Quasi Experiment Design ), namely the Non-Equivalent Control Group design . The sampling technique is total sampling. The sample in this study were all 5th grade students of SDN Tosaren 4, Kediri City, totaling 30 children. The independent variable to be studied is Brain Gym and the dependent variable is learning concentration. The statistical test used is Wilcoxon. The results of the study showed that learning concentration before being given brain gymnastics treatment ( Brain Gym) was lacking, namely 19 children (63%) out of a total of 30 children, while learning concentration after being given brain gymnastics treatment (Brain Gym) was good, namely 25 children (83%) out of a total of 30 children. The results of the statistical test showed the Asymp. Sig. value. (2-tailed) before and after is 0.000 so that H1 is accepted meaning there is an effect of Brain Gym stimulation on the concentration of learning of children of SDN Tosaren 4 Kediri City. From the results of the study, Brain Gym is very helpful for children in increasing their concentration to learn. Brain gymnastics can be given in the classroom when children start to get bored with the long delivery of material.

Abstract

Antipyretic administration is the main therapy in reducing hyperthermia, but excessive use of antipyretics can cause side effects. Balacay leaves have chemical content that can lower body temperature so that it has the potential as a non-pharmacological therapy for hyperthermia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of administering Ricinus comunis (Balacay) leaves on reducing body temperature in hyperthermic toddlers at the Matanga Health Center, Banggai Laut Regency. The design of this study was Pre Experiment with a one-group pre-post test approach. The sample studied was 61 hyperthermic toddlers determined through accidental sampling techniques. The independent variable was the administration of balacay leaves with the dependent variable being body temperature. Data collection used questionnaires and observations, the results were analyzed using the Willcoxon test at α = 0.05.
