Abstract

Patient safety in hospitals is a service system in a hospital that provides safer patient care. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect patient safety in working. The research design used was quantitative with cross-sectional approach. The population of all nurses in Madiun Hospital was 195 respondents. The sample of some nurses was 131 respondents with purposive sampling. The results showed that there was an influence on the role of communication (p=0.001), environmental conditions (p=0.003), distractions at work (p=0.014), workload (p=0.042) and staff education (p=0.000). Multivariate analysis showed that the most influential variable on patient safety was staff education with a significance level of p=0.000 and B=0.068. It is expected that nurses in providing health services must improve the quality which will be able to provide comfort and quality services to patients in terms of improving patient safety.

Abstract

Hyperbilirubinemia is a clinical phenomenon in 80% of premature babies and 60% of aterm babies in the first week of life (Lei et al., 2018). Field massage is a massage in babies that focuses on stimulating the chest and abdomen area. Field massage is a supporting therapy that can increase the excretion of bilirubin. A good knowledge of field massage can change people's perceptions and perspectives on holistic care in newborns. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and public perception of field massage. This study used a survey method with a questionnaire. The subjects of the study were pregnant women as many as 62 respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis obtained a significant value of 0.002 which showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the perception of pregnant women about field massage as an effort to prevent hyperbilirubin in newborns.

Abstract

Several previous studies have shown that values and traditions as local wisdom of the Sasak community can be a prospective alternative solution in dealing with COVID-19, but no researcher has reviewed the results of previous studies. This study aims to illustrate the traditional value of the Sasak people in handling COVID-19. This research method combines qualitative research with the study of literature. The data used in this study is secondary and comes from research articles published in the last three years in national and international journals. Article search techniques use keywords from Scopus and ProQuest databases as well as Google Scholar. There are four articles that are relevant and fit the research inclusion criteria. The results showed that the traditional values of the Sasak community have a positive impact on handling COVID-19, such as the values of compliance, togetherness, and psychological resilience.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the diseases that causes death in children in the world. The incidence of cancer globally every year is as many as 300 thousand children. Cancer that occurs in children causes major reactions in parents that are often associated with trauma and shock. Parents suffer from psychosocial problems, financial tensions, social isolation and conflicts of work and family roles and reduced time for other children and recreational activities. The main key in overcoming the problem of children with cancer is resilience. Research on the resilience of parents who have children with cancer is still limited. The absence of a literature study in the form of a scoping review of the resilience of parents who have children with cancer has made researchers interested in conducting literature studies. A systematic review is needed to disseminate the relevant literature on the resilience of parents who have children with cancer.

Abstract

Quality of service is an important thing in services, especially health services in hospitals to provide satisfaction to patients and families. Satisfaction is the result of the good quality of the services provided so that there will be a feeling of comfort and safety for returning to the hospital or health service. The return of patients to the hospital for treatment is one proof of patient loyalty and patient loyalty to the hospital because they are satisfied with the quality of services provided. This study aims to determine the effect of quality of health services and patient satisfaction on patient loyalty in outpatient installations at Aulia Blitar General Hospital. This type of research uses observational analytic with cross sectional design.

Abstract

Various hospitals that still survive using conventional administrative systems have shown many lost profit opportunities due to weak coordination between departments and lack of fast, precise, accurate and integrated information support. This of course will affect the quality of services provided to stakeholders, especially patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the quality of hospital information systems and work coordination on the performance of health workers at Waru Hospital, Pamekasan Regency. The design of this study was a quantitative observational study with a cross-sectional approach with a research focus aimed at analyzing the influence of the quality of hospital information systems and work coordination on the performance of health workers at Waru General Hospital, Pamekasan Regency.

Abstract

Gadgets among teenagers are a must because sophisticated features can use communication facilities, in the form of messages, entertainment facilities in the form of music, playing games, internet facilities, so gadget technology changes the atmosphere of solitude to become more lively and lively. After counseling, it is hoped that participants will know and apply the management of prevention and handling of mental health emergencies addicted to gadgets. The method used in counseling is the lecture method conducted online or question and answer discussion. The media used in counseling are PPT, leaflets, educational videos, SOP video tutorials for mindfulness exercises and applications to support activities online or online. Based on age, the majority (52.4%) of respondents were 17 years old, the characteristics of the sexes were obtained by the majority (66.7%) of respondents who were female.

Abstract

The high rate of vaginal discharge in the Krian Sidoarjo Health Center area is due to the fact that many women of childbearing age do not know about vaginal discharge, so they perceive vaginal discharge as something that is normal and trivial, besides that the feeling of embarrassment when women experience vaginal discharge often makes these women reluctant to consult a doctor. This study aims to analyze the knowledge of youth aged 15-49 years about personal hygiene with the incidence of vaginal discharge in the Krian Sidoarjo Health Center area. Research using analytical methods with the approach cross sectional. The sample used a sampling technique with stratified random sampling method, namely 98 samples from a total population of women of childbearing age (15-49 years) of 4870 people. This study used a questionnaire as an instrument and data analysis used a test Who Square.

Abstract

Growth and development are processes that occur in living things. Growth is said to increase in physical size, due to the multiplication of cells and the increasing number of substances between cells. Growth and development concern all aspects of progress achieved from the womb to adulthood (Irianton Aritonang, 1996). Based on an initial survey with interview techniques for 10 respondents conducted at the Posyandu Kalimati in January 2020 showed that there are still many toddlers with poor nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to Analyze the Relationship of the Role of Parents to the Growth of Preschool Children in Kalimati Village, Tarik Sidoarjo District in 2020. The design of this study included a cross sectional analytic study with a survey approach. The population in this study were all parents and toddlers in the Kalimantan village of Tarik Sidoarjo in 2020, amounting to 30 respondents.

Abstract

Mother's Milk (ASI) is the best and most suitable food for babies to ensure the growth of babies into human quality. The substances contained in breast milk contain almost all the nutrients needed by babies with concentrations that suit the needs of the baby. (MOH RI, 2014). Based on preliminary studies conducted by researchers at Clinic Hj. Tapianie Prambon Sidoarjo in January 2020 from 15 respondents showed that the attitude of the mother in giving exclusive breast milk is very good. This is because of the large amount of family support in motivating mothers to want to breastfeed exclusively. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and attitude of postpartum mother in giving exclusive ASI at clinic Hj. Tarpianie Prambon Sidoarjo year 2020. The design of this study included a cross sectional analytic study with a survey approach.
