Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of public service policy implementation in enhancing citizen satisfaction, with a focus on identifying socio-economic and cultural barriers that hinder the process. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with citizens and local government officials in marginalized and rural communities to explore their experiences with public services. The study reveals that while governments strive to improve service delivery, challenges such as financial constraints, digital divides, and cultural norms persist, limiting access to essential services. The findings demonstrate that existing policies often fail to address the nuanced needs of diverse populations, particularly in areas with limited resources and technological infrastructure. By analyzing the gaps between policy formulation and actual implementation, the research highlights the importance of community-based participatory approaches, inclusive communication strategies, and targeted interventions to improve the effectiveness of public service delivery. The study contributes to the ongoing discourse on public administration and governance by proposing strategies for policymakers to enhance service accessibility, ensure equity, and promote citizen-centric governance. Future research should focus on integrating digital platforms and innovative technologies in overcoming these barriers

Abstract

This research focuses on the multicultural assimilation and how migrant groups perform this in urban areas; irregularities in urban migration have not been exhaustively researched on. In this study, a qualitative research method was conducted through semi structured interviews with 30 migrants from various backgrounds and participant observations in community settings. Among the observation, the impact of integration highlighted discrimination as a major factor, exclusion from many resources and socio-economic prejudice. Firstly, migrant lives in substandard accommodation, his/her children do not get education or only substandard, and the migrant cannot easily get a job. In addition, cultural adaptation was established as a multifaceted procedure and as processes of the identity formation related to attempts to overcome cultural divides. The study also notes the importance of social networks and participation in the integration processes to illustrate that systematic informal networks offer social, emotional, and material support to migrants discouraged by the urban environment. In achieving these objectives, the study fills gaps in the existing migration literature by describing how migrants engage with and modify the built environment. The conclusions underscore the need for intervention in practice to address problems associated with urban processes, which means implementing anti-essentialization of culture, on the one hand, and the diversification of resources, on the other, in order to have greater returns in the context of future demographic divides. They make a valuable input to ongoing debates around urban governance and social inclusion or exclusion in complex societies. Future studies should extend current research on the local government and other bottom-up community organizations in relation close to migrants’ assimilation.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges of implementing digital technology to enhance the efficiency of public administration services in a metropolitan city. With the growing demand for digital transformation in public services, this research focuses on identifying key obstacles and understanding their impact on the adoption process. Through qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with public administration employees and citizens, the study explores factors such as infrastructure readiness, cybersecurity concerns, resistance to change, technological inequality, and interoperability issues. Findings reveal that while infrastructure preparedness and technological literacy are fundamental to the successful integration of digital systems, cybersecurity risks and resistance to change remain significant barriers. Additionally, technological inequality exacerbates the digital divide, making access to digital services unequal, particularly among marginalized communities. The research also highlights the challenges related to system interoperability and the alignment of policies across public sector organizations. These findings contribute to the existing body of literature by providing a deeper understanding of the specific contextual factors influencing digital governance in metropolitan settings. The study concludes by offering recommendations for overcoming these challenges, emphasizing the need for comprehensive strategies that address both technical and social dimensions of digital transformation.

Abstract

The present work addresses the areas of interest of psychology that concern social interactions and the roles of cognitive processes, affective states, nonverbal behaviors, and cultural values in interactions. Interaction affects human aspects such as the relationship between two persons or entities, and organization of societies. The distinct notion of this research topic is based on modern people’s understanding of how digital communication stands in relation to face-to-face communication in present society. The study employs qualitative interviews and observations of people and communities to examine the roles of empathy, fear or distrust to interpersonal and social cognition. Further, it looks at the part played by perception and attribution in determining behavior and the judgments people make about others, in different settings. Conflict recognition and escalation are also extensively covered in this paper as well as possible body language, facial expressions, and tone of voices as lenses of meaning-making in social interactions. In addition, culture and social relations are taken into account when defining how various environments define interaction between people. The survey results add to the existing body of knowledge regarding social behavior of man especially given the advent of social media. This study thus fills the research gaps of investigating the methods through which digital interaction affects human relations, in light of the reviewed research findings above. This work shows that social behavior is a complex domain of study, and that understanding human action means not only considering how people relate to one another, but also how their brains process information about the social world.
