This study originated from the fact that learning in elementary school is often dominated by teacher and is still implementing a model of learning by learning to use the lecture method. Based on observations of the researchers on the 29th of april 2012 IPS students found the learning outcomes are low, to the researcher through action research is to try to improve student learning outcomes in learning dngan IPS using role play in class IV servants Elementary School District 1 New Taratak Tangjung Tower District Sijunjung. This type of research is a classroom action research, this study used a quantitative approach kualitatf and II cycles done collaboratively between researchers and teachers. This study originated from the reality on the SDN 11 Luhak Nan Duo, students have difficulty learning because learning IPS,IPS Teachers have been using a variety of learning activities in the IPS. For that class action research conducted using direct teaching approach. Pendektan used in this study is Kualikatif and quantitative approach to research design class action. Subjects were Fourth Grade Students of SDN 11 Luhak Nan Duo procedures performed research planning, implementation, observation and reference. The results I encounter I RPP cycle 62%, 63% Teacher aspects, aspects of students 61%, 65.99 learning outcomes. I Cycle 2 meeting RPP 81%, 78% Teacher aspects, aspects of students 76%, 80 learning outcomes. In the second cycle RPP 87%, 93% Teacher aspects, aspects of students 91%, 81.57 learning outcomes. Based on the preliminary research and observation to the fifth grade students at SDN 07 Kauman in Pasaman Regency, it shown the students’ outcomes was low caused most of the teachers still used conventional method in learning. So, that’s way the author would like to improve their outcomes in learning Science through Student Team Achivement Division (STAD) method. The purpose of this study was to describe the students’ improvement in learning Science through STAD. This research was Classroom Action Research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research has been done in two cycles completed by the planning, action, reflection, and students’ outcomes. Based on the research, it concluded that the student’s learning outcome has improved, it sho wn from the result of the teacher’s and students’ activities, as described: in designing lesson plann was 71% (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II); the teacher’s activities was 71% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); the students’ activities was 69.5% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); while the students’ learning outcomes was 60,56 (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II). IPS Learning is subject aims to make the student can think critically, rationally, and creatively in response to emerging issues in their daily lives. But in previous learning makes learners difficulties in memorizing concepts that IPS Learners can not achieve the expected pembelajarn IPS. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, execution, and learning outcomes using STM approach. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results obtained with the use of the STM approach the average yield of the learning plan in the first cycle was 77 rose to 100 on sikus II, from the implementation aspects of the teacher’s 82 to 100, aspects of learners 83 to 98, then the average of the results of learners in the first cycle is 75 increased in the second cycle to 93 on sikus II. From the results of these studies shows that the study of students increased in all observable aspects.Kata Kunci; IPS; Pendekatan STM; Hasil Belajar

This research is begin of truth in primari school. The study to teacher cente. Sd the result of students in social study low. This case because the teacher in this study used the convensional nearly so that cant push the knowledge of students. The purpose of othis research is to descrip the level social study with used the contruktivis nearly in fourth class of primary school. With the sample of research are 22 people. The nearly used in this research is qualitative and quantitative with the hind of research is improved student lerning out comes. This research improved to two syclus that identifich from planning activity, do activity and see and reflection. The sesult of planning studys I can be see from the ability of teachers to design lessens from 62,5% and then II syclus get 85,7%, the activity of teacher 69,3% to 87, 7%. At students activity in syclus I get 67,3% and then syclus II get 86,3%, at the result study syclus I get 72,1% go then syclus II get average 77%. So that can be concluded that social study with contruktivis nearly can improved the result of students study of fourth class at primary school.Keywords: Kontruktivis, learning outcomes, teaching social stud

IPS Learning is focused on the teacher as the primary source of learning, then a lecture to choice in learning, so students get bored and think of learning IPS unattractive and consequently, the value of students is low. This study aimed to describe the learning outcomes of students in learning by using the IPS model of cooperative learning GI type. Student learning outcomes cycles 1 and 2 meetings I average 53.0 and 68.6. Cycle II meetings 1 and 2 the average value of 82.0 and 82.3. Condition of study of elementary school specially social science at the moment still using many model learn conventionally, student only becoming teacher and object only expecting student sit to be kept quiet, hear and note without asking for student find by self existing problems. As a result lackluster student oftentimes and feel saturated in study so that result of learning of lowering. To increase result and activity learn student in study of IPS conducted by research of class action by using model Cooperative Learning Tipe Group Investigation. From the research, the second cycle of cognitive learning outcomes with an average grade of 85.1, the number of students who complete 26 students and 3 students who have not completed the percentage of students passing grade is 89.6%. student learning outcomes of affective aspects with an average grade 85.8, the number of students who pass is 26 and who have not completed 3 students, with a percentage of 89.6% mastery learning students, and student learning outcomes of psychomotor aspect with an average grade 85, the number of students who pass are 26 students and 3 students who have not completed the percentage of students passing grade is 89.6%. This study originated from the fact that the school students in the learning process less active and interested in the subject, thus causing low student learning outcomes. This is due to lack of teachers in the learning process using the steps appropriate approach in the learning process, the teacher is more dominant and less conventional methods using a variety of methods, less teacher worksheets given in accordance with the material being taught. This can be overcome by using experiment methods. The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in learning science by using the experiment method in class IV Elementary School 38 Kuranji Padang. This study used qualitative and quantitative approaches to classroom action research. The subjects were elementary school fourth grade students 38 Kuranji Padang, the class teacher as an observer, and researcher as teacher practitioners. In practice, the study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of research on learning plan cycle I is 66% and in the second cycle increased by an average of 84%. Implementation of the activities teachers learning cycle I is 67.5% and in the second cycle increased is 87.5%. In the student activity cycle I get an average of 62.5% and an increase in cycle II is 85%. Furthermore, student learning outcomes in all three aspects of the cycle I is 65.40 with a qualifying (C) and the second cycle of student learning outcomes in all three aspects of increasing is 75.10 with a qualifying (B). Experiment method can improve learning outcomes of students in the learning of IPA in elementary school.

This research of background that study of IPS in Class IV SDN 05 Pasar Baru Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, teacher still predominate study process and not yet entangled student participation. The condition result to lower result of learning student. Therefore done conducted by research with aim to to increase result of learning IPS by using Type Problem Based Learning. This Research use Approach qualitative and is quantitative, while research type that is Research of Action Class PTK with research device cover, (1) planning, (2) execution, (3) perception, and (4) refleksi. This Research data in the form of information about result of perception to planning, execution, and result learn student. Result of research be a grow up result of RPP, execution, and result learn student. Become can be concluded that study of IPS by using Type Problem Based Learning can improve result learn IV SDN class student 05 Pasar Baru Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.
