Abstract

Oranges are one of the many fruits that produce vitamin C. The size of oranges will affect the selling price in the market. Large oranges will be sold at a higher price and even become an export commodity. Oranges are valued by two factors; size and quality. This research aims to develop an automated system to determine the size of oranges using the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 3932:2008) on the quality of Kepro oranges. This process uses image processing techniques, specifically segmentation by finding the area of the orange diameter. Orange size is measured by its diameter, and there are four levels of size based on SNI, namely first (70 mm), second (61-70 mm), third (51-60 mm), and fourth (40-50 mm). This size determination is usually done visually, but due to its subjectivity, this research aims to create a more objective automated system. The image processing includes testing several edge detection methods such as Prewitt, Canny, Roberts, and Sobel. In addition, the use of RGB coloring was also explored to improve the clarity of orange edges. The results show that the developed system is successful in acquiring images of oranges and identifying their size according to the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard.

Abstract

The introduction of mathematical space building media is often applied in learning module media such as books. In this case it is less effective because students are less able to absorb what is conveyed by the teacher because the media is still a two-dimensional image. With the existence of a desktop java-based application, objects in the introduction of building space can be made into 3-dimensional images. This means that it is possible that this technology can be used as a tool for a more innovative method of introducing the Mathematical Space Formulas, such as by highlighting a camera connected to a cellphone the user can see in three dimensions how the shape of the real space.

Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly and rapidly, which is supported by one of the means, namely the existence of a computer. Of course, a computer that has been equipped with a certain application is used to help facilitate human work in managing the data of an organization or company so that results are accurate and as needed. The results of observations that have been made indicate that there are sales and purchasing activities that still use a manual system, one of which is at a clothing store. Starting from processing goods data, difficulty checking stock, purchasing transactions, sales transactions, and storing other data related to all types of activities, so that it can cause losses for shop owners, errors in recording and inaccurate reports made. Judging from the large number of transactions made at clothing stores, a faster and more accurate information system is needed. Therefore, the authors created a computerized program design using the Microsoft Visual Basic.net programming language and MySQL database, so that information and activities that occur can be carried out quickly and accurately. The method used in designing this program uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. This RAD model is an adaptation of the high-speed version of the waterfall model for the development of each software component. The results achieved from the discussion of this theme are in the form of ready-to-use sales and purchasing program applications. In this case, the use of application programs is the best solution for solving existing problems, and with the use of application programs an effective and efficient activity can be achieved in supporting activities, especially for dealing with sales and purchasing problems.

Abstract

The number of new students is very important in the continuity of the running of the organization, because after all a private higher education institution still relies on its income from student tuition fees. To be able to attract new student candidates, UnHar Medan has taken steps to anticipate higher education competition. In order to create, improve and maintain its competitiveness, UnHar Medan must carry out the right promotion. Promotional activities carried out by distributing brochures and visiting schools for direct promotions. This is certainly less effective in the middle of the current pandemic. To help UnHar Medan in building a system-based promotion system, the researchers designed a promotion system. The method in designing the system uses e-CRM with the process of finding problems and solutions using the PIECES method. In designing a business process system using UML. Abstract

Enterprise software, also known as enterprise application software, is computer software used to meet the needs of organizations rather than individual users. Such organizations include businesses, schools, interest-based user groups, clubs, charities and governments. Enterprise software is an integral part of (computer-based) information systems; a collection of such software is called an enterprise system. These systems handle a number of operations within an organization to improve business and management reporting tasks. The system must process information at a relatively high speed and be usable across multiple networks.
