Abstract

University of Harapan Medan is one of the private universities in North Sumatra which has computer-based study programs such as Informatics Engineering and Information Systems. Every year this college receives many registrations from students who have completed their education at the school stage. The large number of incoming student data makes it difficult for the admin to select new students who will register. In this study using the C4.5 algorithm data mining method to map the pattern of student admissions selection in the field of Engineering and computers. The attributes used are the average value of report cards (high, enough, low), basic academic ability tests (very high, high, medium, low, very low), basic computer knowledge tests (very high, high, enough, low, very low) and interviews (good, bad). Data mining is a mathematical calculation process that uses algorithms and requires large data. While the C4.5 algorithm is an algorithm that processes data by calculating entrophy and information gain, where after the calculation process is carried out, those who get the largest information gain value will become nodes and branches. This C4.5 algorithm will describe a decision tree that will form a pattern in student selection. The results of this study indicate that in mapping the selection pattern of interview attributes into level 1 nodes, the attributes of the basic computer knowledge test become the level 1 branch, the attributes of the basic academic ability test become the level 2 branch and the attribute average value of report cards becomes the level 3 branch.

Abstract

Penyaringan atau seleksi asisten laboratorium (aslab) yang dilakukan oleh pihak kampus masih mengalami hambatan karena proses seleksi asisten laboratorium seringkali dilakukan secara subjektif, bergantung pada penilaian langsung dari dosen atau pengelola laboratorium. Hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan terhadap kualitas aslab yang diterima sehingga berdampak menurunnya pemahaman dan ketrampilan mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah tertentu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu pihak kampus dalam menentukan pengambilan keputusan dalam pemilihan  mahasisawa yang  sesuai untuk menjadi aslab dengan menggunakan metode Electre. Kriteria yang akan digunakan dalam pemilihan aslab dengan metode Electre yaitu IPK, nilai test tertulis, nilai test wawancara, microteaching dan sertifikat pendukung. Hasil yang di dapatkan dengan menggunakan metode Electre untuk pengambil keputusan calon asisten laboratorium berdasarkan kritria yang telah di tentukan didapatkanlah tiga calon yang lulus dengan memiliki nilai 1 yang lebih sedikit dari calon yang lainnya, dengan adanya metode Electre dapat membantu pihak kampus dalam menentukan pemilihan asisten laboratorium komputer secara efektif dan efesien.

Abstract

Data collection on deaths and elderly at the Medan Johor Sub-district Office is an urgent need to improve efficiency and accuracy in the data collection process at the government agency. elderly. With the increasing elderly population, it is important for the Medan Johor Sub-district Office to have an efficient and organized data collection system to manage elderly population data in its work area. The manual data collection system that may still be used by the Medan Johor Sub-district Office also has limitations. Manual processes such as filling out paper forms, manual data collection and processing can slow down the data collection process and increase the risk of errors. Therefore, designing a web-based data collection application is the right solution. By implementing a web-based data collection system, these limitations can be overcome by electronic data entry, automatic validation, and real-time data access. The results of this study This application will help improve the accuracy of data on deaths and elderly population, reducing the potential for human error in manual data input.

Abstract

The number of new students is very important in the continuity of the running of the organization, because after all a private higher education institution still relies on its income from student tuition fees. To be able to attract new student candidates, UnHar Medan has taken steps to anticipate higher education competition. In order to create, improve and maintain its competitiveness, UnHar Medan must carry out the right promotion. Promotional activities carried out by distributing brochures and visiting schools for direct promotions. This is certainly less effective in the middle of the current pandemic. To help UnHar Medan in building a system-based promotion system, the researchers designed a promotion system. The method in designing the system uses e-CRM with the process of finding problems and solutions using the PIECES method. In designing a business process system using UML. Abstract

This Microsoft Office training program aims to enhance the ability of teachers at Bani Adam AS Private Elementary School in developing effective and engaging digital teaching modules. The training was conducted through a hands-on approach, covering material on text processing using Microsoft Word and the use of PowerPoint as the primary medium for preparing instructional content. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, as well as observation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in designing teaching modules that are more interactive, well-structured, and aligned with the curriculum. Furthermore, the training encouraged teachers to be more creative in presenting technology-based learning materials, thereby improving the quality of classroom instruction.  The positive impact of this activity serves as a strong foundation for organizing follow-up training programs to further expand teachers’ proficiency in using digital technologies in education.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat, termasuk dalam industri handphone yang menawarkan beragam pilihan merek dan spesifikasi. Keberagaman tersebut sering kali mempersulit konsumen dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian. Untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan secara sistematis dan objektif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) menggunakan metode PROMETHEE di Toko Eraphone. Aplikasi yang dirancang memanfaatkan kriteria-kriteria penting dalam pemilihan handphone, seperti harga, kualitas, fitur, dan reputasi brand. Dengan pendekatan metode PROMETHEE, sistem mampu memberikan peringkat terhadap berbagai alternatif handphone berdasarkan preferensi pengguna. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max (+0,2) dan Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (+0,15) memiliki nilai Net Flow tertinggi, sehingga menjadi pilihan utama konsumen. Sementara itu, beberapa merek lain seperti OnePlus 12 (-0,075), Oppo Find X7 Pro (-0,125), dan Huawei Mate 60 Pro (-0,025) mendapatkan nilai Net Flow negatif, menunjukkan minat konsumen yang lebih rendah. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan pelanggan dapat memperoleh informasi yang lebih detail dan relevan, sehingga meningkatkan kepuasan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan pembelian. Selain itu, toko dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih profesional dan efisien kepada konsumennya.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are prepared to enter the workforce. It is essential for every SMK graduate to possess specialized skills to support their future career development. In the culinary arts program, for instance, students can leverage digital marketing techniques through social media platforms to market their products. Recognizing the significance of social media utilization, particularly Instagram, as a medium for business information and promotion, there is a need for digital marketing literacy among SMK Tunas Karya students. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance students' competencies in managing social media for digital business marketing. Through socialization and training initiatives, students are expected to comprehend digital marketing strategies via Instagram to support business activities. The program's success indicators include improved student understanding of Instagram usage as a communication medium and business promotion platform, as well as enhanced student proficiency in managing and presenting content creatively. Through the implementation of social media-based digital marketing strategies, students can expand their business reach, facilitate transactions, and increase profitability.

Abstract

Galeri Songket merupakan salah satu galeri yang bergerak di bidang penjualan tenunan Khas Nusantara yang masih menggunakan media sosial sebagai media untuk penjualan produk. Di era digital yang berkembang pesat, usaha penjualan menghadapi tantangan besar dalam meningkatkan efisiensi penjualan dan mencapai pasar yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan dan pembangunan E-commerce untuk Galeri Songket dengan menggunakan metode Agile, sebuah pendekatan inovatif yang berpusat pada pengembangan aplikasi. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Agile, seperti responsif terhadap perubahan, kolaborasi tim yang efektif, fokus pada kualitas, dan kepuasan pengguna, dapat mencapai tujuan dengan lebih baik. Metode Agile telah membantu mengatasi masalah yang sering terjadi dalam pengembangan aplikasi. Hasil yang diharapkan website yang dirancang tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi penjualan dan memudahkan pengelolaan produk, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang superior. E-commerce Galeri Songket ini merupakan aplikasi sistem yang dibuat berbasis web dan membuat database data admin dan data customer sehingga dapat mengelola data menjadi informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dengan lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

The Plantation Pension Fund is a pension fund that manages the defined benefit pension plan (PPMP) for employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara, besides that DAPENBUN also provides holiday allowances to retirees in accordance with the regulations set by the company. The purpose of this study is to provide good decisions, provide clear assessments and calculations with criteria that are in accordance with the eligibility to be selected. The method used in this research is the Multi-Objective Optimization On The Basic Ratio (MOORA) method using Hypertext Multi Language (HTML), Hypertext Processor (PHP). In this study, it can be seen that the highest optimization value is (A3) with Yi(max) = (0.381023) with a total THR of Rp. 3,814,406.08 then followed by (A4) which has Yi(max) = 0.303950 with a total THR of Rp. 3,040,792.46 ,(A2) with a value of Yi(Max) = (0.238024) with a total THR of Rp. 2,380,330.24, (A1) with a value of Yi(mx) = (0.227268) with a total THR of Rp. 2,275.423.68 and the smallest (A5) with a value of Yi(Max) = (0.162676) with a total THR of Rp 1,627,251.58. Keywords: holiday allowance, decision support system, MOORA, PHP, HTML, MYSQL.

Abstract

This study aims to build a website-based periodic service information system application, By applying the prototype method application development method through concepts, design, and evaluation provides solutions to problems. It was found that the use of periodic service applications in the Melet Tuning Medan workshop, which has been built is very useful because of the results of the application of methods and system design. can create satisfaction with the workshop's services to customers. get service and the workshop can manage service data well and efficiently. This study produces a prototype design and applies methods in building periodic service applications on the website system.
