Abstract

This article discusses corruption and public services in the health sector in Kutai Kartanegara district during Rita Widyasari's leadership period (2010-2015 and 2016-2020) with the aim of analyzing and explaining the relationship between these two variables. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the findings were obtained that the corruption that occurred in Kutai Kartanegara district was not closely related to public services in the health sector. This can be seen from several health indicators in this study, namely life expectancy, maternal mortality and infant mortality which tend to experience positive developments. The average life expectancy increased by 0.67% from 71.48 years in the first period to 71.96 years in the second period. The average maternal mortality rate decreased by 3.18% from 220 to 213 in the second period. The infant mortality rate decreased by 1.79% from 13.39 to 13.15 in the second period.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the political map acquires and converts the votes of political parties in Balikpapan City in the 2019 Legislative Election. Based on the results of the study using descriptive analysis research and using a literature study research approach and the concept used is thematic map concept which contains information on certain (specific) themes and is used for certain interests, one of which is politics. Then to find out the seat conversion using the divisor sainte lague method. The results of the study show that the map of the spread of the vote acquisition for legislative candidates in 6 electoral districts shows that Abdulloh, who comes from the Golongan Karya Party, has the most votes with 6,285 votes, then in political party votes, the PDIP Party becomes the party with the most votes, namely 30 sub-districts out of 34 sub-districts as a whole. In the combined vote acquisition between political parties and legislative candidates, the Golongan Karya Party became the party with the most votes, namely 13 sub-districts which were also in the conversion of seats, the Golongan Karya Party also won the most seats with 11 seats.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe village government cooperation in making the family planning program a success in Sebemban Village, Muara Wis District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, as well as to identify the inhibiting factors. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with a research focus, namely facilitators and planners as well as inhibiting factors in Village Government collaboration in the succes of family planning programs in Sebemban Village, Muara Wis District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. In this study the key informants were the Head of Welfare and Community Services, Village Government Staff, Head of the Empowerment and Family Welfare Mobilization Team, Members of the PKK Mobilization Team, and other informants, namely the community. The collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman and Saldana. However, the existence of obstacles in these efforts can help policy implementers to find out deficiencies and what needs to be improved in cooperation to make the family planning program successful in Sebemban Village, Muara Wis District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by phenomena related to the performance of existing government apparatus employees, including the limited ability of employees to carry out their duties, the lack of suitability of educational background and position, and work time discipline. There are several factors that can influence employee performance, one of which is the work environment and job description. The hypothesis proposed and making proof that job environment, job descriptions has an impact on employee performance in Kantor Kecamatan Sungai Pinang Kota Samarinda. The results of this research can be concluded that the Work Environment (X1) and Job Description (X2) together (simultaneously) prossess a totable impact on Employee (Y). An Rsquare is 74,2% indicates that the work employee description have significant impact on employee performance. With the remaining 25.8% being impact of other variables not looked at in this examination.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the strategies carried out by the Paser Regency Youth, Sports, and Tourism Department in developing Tourism Potential with a research focus on organizational strategies, programs, supporting resources, and institutions that support the development of tourism potential. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using methods namely observation, interviews, documentation, and library research. In this research, the analysis components used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. Based on the results of research conducted at the Paser Regency Youth, Sports, and Tourism Department, it focus on improving institutional strategies developed to manage, organize, and run tourism itself by maximizing visitor visits. This is one of the strategies of the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Department in developing tourism, which still requires attention to the development of infrastructure and resources, both natural and human, and requires a lot of support to be able to develop tourism potential well.
