Abstract

Strategic management is very important in managing an organization, because it can differentiate how well an organization achieves its performance, can face all forms of change and every decision provides benefits for various forms and types of profit-oriented organizations, government institutions, health and other organizations. other non-profits. Strategy is a process of implementing planning to achieve the organization's long-term goals by involving various existing resources. The Strategic Management course is a course designed to provide students with an understanding so they can implement a series of managerial decisions and actions in determining company performance in the long term. After students complete this strategic management course, students are expected to understand strategic management in terms of environmental observation, strategy formulation (strategic planning or long-term planning), strategy implementation, and evaluation/control. In addition, students are able to consider the implications of organizational strategy for the entire human resource system in the organization by translating organizational goals into specific resource management systems.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategies carried out by Vocational School Principals Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi in increasing teacher productivity at the school. Study This will be held in June 2024, at SMK Negeri 1 Muaro Regency Jambi Jambi Province. In In this research, the author uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely the author goes directly into the field. In deciding In the sample, there are two techniques for determining informants, namely the Nonprobability Sampling technique, namely consists of Snowball Sampling and Purposive Sampling. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the strategy carried out by the Head of Vocational Schools Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi has been carried out to increase teacher productivity in schools the. In between Which has done is increase discipline Teacher And give motivation and appreciation Work for para Teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership of the principal in improving the professional competence of teachers at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi and the efforts he must make. This research uses qualitative methods. The subjects are principals and teachers. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the principal's efforts in improving teacher professional competence are facilitating teachers in carrying out self-development activities or improving their competencies, sending teachers to participate in competency improvement activities carried out outside of school and motivating and facilitating teachers to take part in Teacher Professional Education.

Abstract

Education is currently a big challenge that cannot be ignored by any institution, including schools. SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City is one of the schools facing this challenge. In addition to ensuring sustainability, schools must also rethink their leadership approaches to align with national education goals and foster cohesive and unified teams of educators. Addressing these challenges requires thoughtful interventions from all angles. A leadership approach that encourages inclusiveness for all staff members is essential in fostering a strong sense of teamwork among teachers. Therefore, this research aims to explore the role of collaborative leadership in creating a cohesive team that can meet community expectations. Using a qualitative methodology with a focus on literature reviews, this research will examine how the collaborative leadership style of school principals contributes to the development of collaborative teams.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of principal leadership on the development of teachers' social competence in 4 state junior high schools in Jambi City. Teachers' social competence is a crucial factor that plays a role in increasing the effectiveness of teaching and interactions with students. Through an empirical study approach, this research analyzes how the principal's leadership style can influence and develop teachers' social abilities, including communication, cooperation and interpersonal relationships in the school environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate self-efficacy, social support, and coping stress in relation to academic resilience of students in the Faculty of Education (FKIP) at Jambi University. This study utilizes a quantitative method and employs a questionnaire as the instrument to collect data from students in the Faculty of Education at Jambi University. The Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS) method is used to analyze and evaluate the causal relationships between independent and dependent variables. The research sample consists of 218 respondents who are students in the Faculty of Education at Jambi University. The four variables examined in this study are self-efficacy, social support, coping stress, and academic resilience of students. The p-values obtained are as follows: H1, the influence of self-efficacy on academic resilience of students, has a value of 0.001. Based on this value, the first hypothesis is supported or confirmed. For H2, the influence of social support on academic resilience of students has a value of 0.000. Therefore, the second hypothesis is supported or confirmed. Finally, for H3, the influence of coping stress on academic resilience has a value of 0.000. Thus, the third hypothesis is supported or confirmed. Therefore, this research concludes that all variables significantly influence the academic resilience of students in the Faculty of Education at Jambi University.
