Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of tawadhu’ (humility) values in the Prophet’s hadiths in shaping educators’ personalities. Employing qualitative library research, the study examines various literature and key prophetic narrations on humility. The thematic analysis reveals tawadhu’ as a multidimensional concept encompassing equality, gentleness, non-superiority, and appreciation of differences supported by major hadiths such as HR. Muslim no. 2588, 91, and 2865. Findings show that incorporating tawadhu’ in teaching practice involves: (1) fostering dialogic space; (2) avoiding arrogance; (3) respecting students; (4) pursuing lifelong learning; and (5) teaching with sincere intentions. The study concludes that integrating tawadhu’ into educational settings cultivates educators who are both academically competent and morally upright, thus fostering inclusive, harmonious, and spiritually enriched learning environments.

Abstract

This research analyzes the concept of moderate and tolerant attitudes from the perspective of Prophet Muhammad's hadith, focusing on their implementation toward minorities in contemporary Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach through hadith textual analysis and case studies, this research examines authentic hadiths from Bukhari, Muslim, and Abu Dawud related to tolerance. Three case studies are analyzed: religious tolerance in Manado, Muslim-Hindu harmony in Bali, and challenges of discrimination against Ahmadiyya. The findings reveal that prophetic hadiths provide comprehensive foundations for tolerance, including prohibition of religious coercion, protection of dhimmi rights, and the concept of wasathiyyah (moderation). Implementation in Manado and Bali demonstrates successful application of hadith values within Indonesia's pluralistic context. However, the Ahmadiyya case indicates challenges in practical implementation. This research concludes that deep understanding of tolerance-related hadiths can serve as a solution to strengthen social harmony and address intolerance in Indonesia's diverse society.

Abstract

In the stressful modern life, the concepts of self-care and healing are very relevant. This research explores these concepts from an Islamic perspective through the Amr Nahy framework found in the Qur'an and Hadith. Islam views self-care and healing as part of a Muslim's spiritual and social responsibility, rather than an individualistic trend. Through a qualitative approach and literature review, this study discusses shar'i arguments and maqasid sharia principles to show that Islam supports a balanced life, and encourages quality productivity that is worthy of worship.

Abstract

This study examines how the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center (BP3MI) of the Riau Islands handles the deportation of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Tanjungpinang City. The background of this study is the increasing number of PMI who work abroad without procedures, especially in Malaysia, which results in deportation. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach involving data collection through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that BP3MI Kepri plays an important role in the process of accepting deported PMI. This includes pick-up at the port, document checking, providing basic services, and assisting in repatriation to their home areas. There are two repatriation mechanisms, the first is carried out independently and the other is fully facilitated by BP3MI. Limited shelters and the increasing number of non-procedural PMI are the problems faced. This study emphasizes the importance of the state's role in guaranteeing the rights and protection of every citizen, including PMI who have problems abroad. Therefore, BP3MI Kepri continues to coordinate across sectors to ensure comprehensive protection for PMI.

Abstract

This article explores the essential role of hadith in shaping a just and moral generation amidst modern-day challenges. Using a qualitative approach through literature studies, this research examines how the values of justice found in the Qur'an and hadith can be applied in daily life, particularly through the vital role of parents in character education. Hadith is viewed not only as a source of Islamic law but also as a moral and ethical guide that fosters a fair and harmonious society. The findings highlight that instilling the value of justice from an early age through parental example and hadith-based education is a key strategy in building a knowledgeable, faithful, and noble generation.
