<![CDATA[The presence of Indonesian language in religious talks serves a significant purpose as an effective tool for communicating Islamic teachings. This research centers on how Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus employs Indonesian in her sermons, noted for their respectful, clear, and pertinent presentation to listeners. The foundation of this investigation lies in recognizing the value of language analysis as a method of outreach that can engage diverse segments of the community. The inquiry focuses on how Ustadzah Halimah adeptly uses Indonesian to effectively communicate religious ideas in a precise manner. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using a case study design. Data collection included reviewing recordings of lectures that were widely shared, conducting linguistic analyses, and performing supplementary interviews with audience members to gauge their reception of the language used. The findings indicate that Ustadzah Halimah incorporates straightforward yet impactful Indonesian words, modifies her tone between gentle and assertive, and weaves in inspiring stories relevant to daily experiences. This technique has proven successful in establishing a deep emotional link with the audience, enhancing their comprehension and acceptance of the conveyed messages. The study recommends that preachers receive training to refine their language abilities and implement these skills in their teachings. Within the academic field, this research adds to the body of knowledge in pragmatic linguistics and preaching communication, particularly in analyzing how language can serve as a persuasive tool that positively affects listeners. Therefore, the effective use of proper Indonesian should be further leveraged as a strategic approach to preaching in contemporary society.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the impact of literacy movements on language comprehension among students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Program (KPI) at Universitas Islam Bandung. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, the research explores the implementation of literacy movements, their influence on reading, writing, and speaking skills, as well as challenges faced by students. The findings show that literacy movements significantly enhance students’ language comprehension, both in academic and da’wah contexts. Identified challenges include low motivation, limited time, and inadequate supporting facilities. Proposed solutions include integrating literacy into courses, developing facilities, and implementing digital literacy programs. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for strengthening literacy movements in higher education.]]>

<![CDATA[This article explores the communication language employed by Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi in her preaching activities. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the language in enhancing audience understanding and acceptance of preaching messages. The methodology involves a literature review with qualitative analysis of Ustadzah Oki’s sermons available on digital platforms. The findings reveal that Ustadzah Oki’s communication style is characterized by simplicity, friendliness, and empathy. These traits enable her preaching to be well-received by diverse groups, particularly the younger generation. Furthermore, Ustadzah Oki often uses inspiring stories and analogies closely related to everyday life, making it easier for the audience to grasp the messages. Her soft tone and choice of positive words also create a comforting and engaging atmosphere. This approach not only effectively conveys the message but also builds emotional connections with the audience. The study also highlights positive feedback from audiences, evident from various comments and responses on social media. Many feel motivated and inspired by her inclusive preaching style, which transcends social, age, and educational backgrounds. This article suggests that similar approaches should be widely adopted in preaching to ensure that religious messages are universally accessible. In conclusion, Ustadzah Oki’s friendly, simple, and empathetic communication approach significantly enhances the effectiveness of her preaching and strengthens emotional bonds with her audience. This model of communication is relevant in modern preaching contexts and serves as an inspiration for other preachers to integrate universal Islamic values with creative and heartfelt communication methods. Thus, preaching becomes not only a medium for conveying religious teachings but also a tool for fostering broader social harmony.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of Indonesian as an integration tool between students with different regional language backgrounds in Class B of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) of the Islamic University of Bandung. The diversity of student cultures and regional languages presents challenges in creating effective communication in the campus environment. Indonesian, as a regional language and the language of instruction in education, plays an important role in encouraging interaction between students who are different from their mother tongue. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods to find out the experiences and views of KPI Class B students regarding the use of Indonesian in communication both in academic and social contexts. The results of the study show that despite communication difficulties due to differences in accent and language fluency, Indonesian remains an effective unifying tool to facilitate interaction and create harmony between Masu students. This study also identifies the challenges faced by students and provides suggestions for the campus to improve the Indonesian language skills of its students so that they can better support communication in the academic environment. Thus, the Indonesian language has proven to play a very important role in creating an inclusive and harmonious atmosphere among students studying various regional languages at the Islamic University of Bandung.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the types of language styles used by the main female character in the novel "Mariposa" by Luluk HF and to analyze the meaning and function of these language styles in building character characterization. The problem that will be raised in this research is the form and variations of language styles that appear in the dialogue and monologue of the main character, as well as the role of these language styles in revealing the psychological dimensions of the character. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a stylistic approach, where data is collected through reading and note-taking techniques for quotations that contain language styles in the novel. The results of the analysis show that there are five dominant language styles used by the main character, namely metaphor, hyperbole, personification, simile, and repetition. This language style functions to describe the character's feelings, strengthen the delivery of the message, and build an atmosphere in the story. This research has the potential to become a reference for the development of stylistic studies of contemporary Indonesian literature and can be used as learning material for stylistic analysis at the tertiary level as well as for similar research with a focus on other linguistic aspects.]]>

<![CDATA[This article contains an analysis of emotional intelligence in children aged 5 to 10 years, this study aims to find out more about the development of children in their emotional intelligence, which is also related to literacy. Because literacy is an influence on hearing, understanding children's thoughts, and it will affect their emotional intelligence. And the problems in the influence of literacy on children's emotional intelligence include difficulties in controlling emotions, the impact of the social and cultural environment, and limitations in understanding literacy that can hinder emotional development. In addition, the lack of support from parents is also a significant factor. This study uses qualitative methods that can allow researchers to explore children's experiences, views, and feelings in depth. In the context of literacy and emotional intelligence, researchers can find out how children feel and interpret their emotions and how literacy plays a role in the process. Through reading and discussing emotions, children can improve their understanding of themselves and others, develop empathy, and improve communication skills and emotional management. By integrating literacy and emotional intelligence into education and everyday life, we can help children develop the skills needed to interact positively and manage their emotions effectively.]]>

<![CDATA[This research discusses the comparison of expressions of love in Indonesian and Turkish in the song "Apalah Cinta" by Ayu Ting Ting, which is the result of a cross-cultural collaboration with the Turkish singer, Keremcem. This song is interesting to analyze because it reflects the cultural and linguistic differences between the two languages in expressing love. This research uses a text analysis approach to examine song lyrics in both languages, and considers the cultural context that influences expressions of love. The research results show that Indonesian tends to convey love in a direct and simple way, while Turkish uses more poetic and metaphorical expressions. Even though there are differences in language structure and style of expression, they both have a similar message, namely about the beauty of love and universal feelings that transcend language and cultural boundaries. This research highlights how works of art such as songs can be an effective medium for bridging cultural differences, as well as enriching cross-cultural understanding.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesian is a national identity that every citizen should be proud of. However, the challenges of globalization and the influence of foreign cultures often weaken the sense of pride in the use of Indonesian in everyday life. The purpose of this article is to describe an effort to foster a sense of pride in Indonesian by introducing it into everyday life. This approach involves incorporating Indonesian into various activities. Through the habituation of using Bahasa Indonesia appropriately and accurately, individuals can understand the richness of culture and its role in strengthening national unity. The results show that individuals' direct involvement in language practice increases awareness of the importance of language as a medium of communication that reflects national values.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the language style used in the song lyrics as a tool to convey messages of social criticism. The problem that will be raised in this research is to deeply examine the song lyrics to find implied meanings that can enrich our understanding of the work. In addition, we will also examine how the use of words, metaphors and sentence structure in this song and how the social and political context when the song was created influenced the choice of language style used. The method used is descriptive analytic with literature study technique. The object studied is the lyrics of the song “Where is Freedom” by the Rocket Flyer Group. The results of the analysis show that the lyrics of this song have a very effective language style in conveying messages. The use of metaphors and everyday language makes it easy for song lyrics to be remembered by various groups. This research has the potential to be a reference for future research.]]>
