Abstract

A brand can enhance a company's ranking, on the one hand, and consumers' status in society, on the other. The purpose of this paper is to further elaborate on the strategic significance of strong brand building efforts. The research design used in this study is a literature review. The data sources used are journals and/or websites related to the selected topic. The data sources for this study consist of journal articles on the strategic significance of brands. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. Companies in developing countries like Indonesia are increasingly recognizing the benefits of building strong brands, such as surviving difficult economic conditions, enjoying longer lifespans, gaining greater power in distribution channels, expanding sales beyond small domestic markets, becoming more competitive in staff recruitment and retention, and increasing profits. Brand strength plays a crucial role in determining business success, as it significantly shapes customer behavior, engagement, and loyalty. This is because a strong brand has strategic significance as a valuable asset for companies in making business decisions. By understanding and leveraging brand strength, companies can develop strategies that maximize their brand's potential and drive business growth. Furthermore, strong brand building plays a role in creating sustainable differentiation amidst increasingly fierce market competition. In today's digital age, consumers buy products not only based on their function but also on the values, image, and story behind the brand. Therefore, an effective brand strategy focuses not only on visuals or communication but also reflects the company's core values ​​that are relevant to consumer expectations and aspirations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of conflict management, work environment, and work performance on employee productivity at PT. Sentral Bra Makmur Bogor. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires, literature studies, and observations. The study population was all 133 employees of PT. Sentral Bra Makmur Bogor, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely the classical assumption test, descriptive analysis, instrument testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) test. The results of the instrument test indicate that all questionnaire items are valid and reliable. The classical assumption test proves the absence of multicollinearity, autocorrelation, or heteroscedasticity, and the residuals are normally distributed. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that conflict management has no significant effect on work productivity, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on productivity. This indicates that a good work environment can improve employee performance and productivity. In addition, work performance also has a positive and significant effect on productivity, which confirms that the better an individual's performance, the higher the productivity achieved. The results of the F test show a calculated F value of 132.418 > 2.67 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that conflict management, work environment, and work performance simultaneously have a significant effect on work productivity. The coefficient of determination test produces an R² value of 0.749 or 74.9%, which means that the three variables are able to explain the influence on work productivity by 74.9%, while the remaining 25.1% is influenced by other factors outside this study, such as leadership style, work stress, and work motivation. This finding emphasizes the importance of managing the work environment and achieving performance in increasing company productivity.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of workload and work environment on turnover intention among employees at X Rantelemo. Turnover intention is an important indicator in human resource management because high employee intention to leave can negatively impact company productivity, operational stability, and recruitment and training costs. Therefore, factors that influence turnover intention, such as excessive workload and work environment conditions, are important to be studied in depth. The research method used is a quantitative method with data collection through distributing questionnaires to couriers working at X Rantelemo. The collected data were then analyzed using the SPSS version 23 application with a series of statistical tests, including classical assumption tests, research instrument tests, multiple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests, determination coefficient tests, correlation coefficient tests, and simultaneous tests. The results of data processing indicate that simultaneously workload (X1) and work environment (X2) do not have a significant effect on turnover intention (Y). This is indicated by the calculated F value of 6.558 which is greater than Ftable 3.33, with a significance value of 0.400 > 0.05. Furthermore, partial tests showed that the workload variable had no significant effect, as indicated by a t-value of -1.699 < t-table 2.04841 and a significance value of 0.100 > 0.05, thus rejecting the second hypothesis. Therefore, it can be concluded that in the context of this study, workload and work environment are not the dominant factors influencing employee turnover intention. This opens up the possibility that other factors, such as compensation, job satisfaction, leadership style, and career opportunities, have a greater influence on employees' desire to leave the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of asset growth, dividend policy, and capital structure on firm value in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2023 period. The background of this study is based on the rapid development of the technology industry in Indonesia, which requires companies to manage resources and finances optimally. Factors such as asset growth, dividend distribution policy, and capital structure are believed to play a significant role in determining a company's value in the eyes of investors. In today's competitive business environment, firm value is one of the most crucial indicators for investors and stakeholders. The research data was obtained from the official IDX website, www.idx.co.id, using a purposive sampling technique. From the selection results, 22 technology companies were selected that met the research criteria. The data collection method was carried out by reviewing the annual financial reports of these companies. Data analysis used classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests to ensure the regression model used met the BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimator) requirements. Hypothesis testing was then conducted through multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and coefficient of determination using IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. The results showed that asset growth and dividend policy variables had no effect on firm value. Conversely, capital structure was shown to have a positive and significant influence on the value of technology sector companies. This finding highlights the importance of capital structure decisions in enhancing firm value, especially in the technology industry, where innovation and expansion require strong financial strategies. Therefore, this study contributes to financial managers and investors' consideration of capital structure as a strategic factor in increasing firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to further understand the influence of compensation, punishment, and occupational safety on employee performance at PT. XYZ. Compensation is seen as an important element that can motivate employees to increase work productivity, while punishment or appropriate and fair punishment serves as a tool to control behavior to comply with company rules and standards. In addition, occupational safety is also a crucial factor because a safe work environment will encourage employees to work more calmly, comfortably, and optimally. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to a number of PT. XYZ employee respondents. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. The results of the study indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Providing appropriate compensation that is in accordance with employee contributions can increase work motivation and encourage the achievement of company targets. Furthermore, punishment also has a significant effect, where a punishment system that is applied consistently, fairly, and transparently has been proven to reduce the level of disciplinary violations and increase employee responsibility. Occupational safety factors have also been shown to have a significant influence on performance, as a safe and healthy work environment provides a sense of comfort and reduces the risk of workplace accidents that can decrease productivity. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that compensation, punishment, and occupational safety simultaneously or partially contribute significantly to improving the performance of PT. XYZ employees.

Abstract

Competition in the smartphone industry in Indonesia is getting tighter due to the high demand of the public for smartphones to support their daily activities. The purpose of this study is to explain the influence of word of mouth, brand image and advertising on the decision to purchase iPhone smartphones in Badung Regency. The method of determining the sample of this study uses non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique with a sample of 140 people. The analysis techniques used are multiple linear analysis, F test, t test, and determination test. The results of the study indicate that word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, advertising has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, word of mouth, brand image, and advertising have a simultaneous or simultaneous effect on purchasing decisions, and brand image has a dominant effect on purchasing decisions. The practical implications of this study are that it can be a consideration for iPhone brand management to improve marketing strategies and product development of the iPhone brand, thereby further strengthening the brand's position in the market and increasing consumer purchasing decisions. The method of determining the sample for this study uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique, selecting a sample of 140 people who are familiar with the iPhone brand. The analysis techniques used include multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and the determination test. These techniques help to determine the individual and combined effects of word of mouth, brand image, and advertising on purchasing decisions. The results of the study indicate that all three factors—word of mouth, brand image, and advertising—have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the innovative and sustainable strategies implemented by CV. Alam Semi in responding to the increase in soybean prices, which has significantly affected tofu production. Soybeans, as the main raw material, create substantial financial pressure for medium-scale producers when prices rise, requiring adaptive and resilient strategies to ensure business continuity. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research applied SWOT analysis and the Miles and Huberman method to formulate practical strategies. The analysis produced an IFAS score of 3.20 and an EFAS score of 3.42, positioning the company in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Based on this position, CV. Alam Semi adopted several aggressive strategies, including modernization of the production process, product diversification, packaging improvement, and optimization of distribution channels to enhance competitiveness. In addition, sustainable strategies were integrated into business operations, focusing on energy efficiency, organic waste utilization to create added value, and community empowerment initiatives. These combined approaches enable the company to maintain profitability while also ensuring long-term resilience amid raw material price fluctuations. The integration of aggressive and sustainability-oriented strategies reflects a balanced response to both market challenges and environmental considerations. The findings demonstrate that innovation and sustainability are not mutually exclusive but can work synergistically to strengthen competitive advantage. This study provides practical implications for tofu producers and other small- to medium-scale food enterprises facing similar challenges, while also contributing academically by offering insights into strategy formulation in volatile market conditions. The results highlight the importance of aligning financial, operational, and social aspects to build a resilient and sustainable business model.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the financial performance of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk during the 2022–2024 period using an activity ratio analysis approach. The research method used was quantitative, with data sourced from the annual financial reports officially published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis process utilized four main indicators: Receivable Turnover (RTO), Working Capital Turnover (WCTO), Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), and Total Assets Turnover (TATO). These four ratios were chosen because they provide an overview of the company's effectiveness in utilizing assets and working capital to support sales activities. The results of the study indicate that PT Vale Indonesia Tbk's financial performance remains relatively poor, as all activity ratios tend to be below applicable industry standards. Although there was a slight increase in the RTO ratio, overall, this increase was not significant enough to indicate performance improvement. Management of receivables, working capital, fixed assets, and total assets remains suboptimal, resulting in a very limited contribution to sales growth. These findings confirm that low activity ratios can be used as an indicator of a company's weak effectiveness in utilizing its resources. Therefore, more targeted managerial improvement steps are needed, such as strengthening receivables management policies, increasing the efficiency of asset use, and implementing working capital optimization strategies so that the company's financial performance can improve in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze “The Influence of Product Quality and Service Quality on Purchase Decisions of Lung.eraa Products (A Case Study on the Lung.eraa Shopee E-commerce Store in Surabaya)”, in line with the core issue raised, namely the effect of product quality and service quality on consumer purchase interest in the Lung.eraa online shop business based in Surabaya. High product quality is expected to enhance customer satisfaction, while optimal service quality is expected to build customer loyalty and attract purchase interest. The research method employed is a survey by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are online consumers of Lung.eraa. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the proposed hypotheses. The results of the analysis indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, meaning that the better the product quality offered, the higher the consumer’s intention to purchase. Furthermore, service quality also has a positive and significant influence on purchase interest, indicating that good service can effectively attract consumers. This study contributes to the development of marketing strategies for online business actors to increase purchase decisions by improving product and service quality. Therefore, the recommendation is to continuously enhance both aspects in order to maintain and expand market share within the e-commerce industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price, discount, and product quality on customer satisfaction in the Lung.eraa online shop business in Surabaya. The research focuses on how these three variables affect customer satisfaction levels. Affordable prices encourage repeat purchases, while discounts play a significant role in increasing purchase intention. Additionally, good product quality is a key factor in creating customer satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 102 respondents who are Lung.eraa customers. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that price has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, meaning that better pricing strategies lead to higher customer satisfaction. Discounts also show a positive and significant effect, demonstrating that attractive discount offers can enhance consumers' purchase intentions. This study contributes to the development of marketing strategies for online businesses by emphasizing the importance of managing price, discount, and product quality to improve customer satisfaction. Recommendations are provided for businesses to continuously improve these three aspects to maintain customer loyalty and expand market share in the e-commerce industry.
