Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the market reaction to changes in stock prices on the Russian-Ukraine war event on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2022. This research using Bayesian analysis Approach on banking stocks. The results show that the AAR and CAR Before-After of the three models do not show significant results or market anomaly. The implications of the results of this research for investors and researchers that the events of the Russian-Ukraine war in 2022 can be taken into consideration for investors to be more rational in responding to political events in making investments in both the financial sector or other sectors, and for other researchers the EMH theory is no longer relevant to recent world developments. The limitations in this study are only in the financial sector in banking stocks, and the future big agenda will be expanded in several sectors, namely manufacturing, infrastructure and technology on the Indonesia stock exchange. The novelty in this research is that it uses the Bayesian analysis approach to the three models of approaches that have been and are often used, but in this case it is very different from previous researchers who have never used the Bayesian analysis approach

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of entrepreneurial leadership on the performance of food and beverage MSMEs in Cilacap. The research sample comprised 130 MSME participants. The sample was obtained using an online survey. This study employed Smart PLS 3.0 for analysis. The study indicates that entrepreneurial leadership positively influences MSME performance and innovative capability. Innovative capability favourably influences MSME performance and mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and MSME success. This study's drawback lies in its focus on food and beverage MSMEs in Cilacap, hindering the generalizability of the findings to other sectors or locations with distinct features. This study enhances the literature by empirically confirming the mediating function of Innovative Capability between Entrepreneurial Leadership and the performance of MSMEs, specifically within Indonesia's food and beverage industry. These findings emphasize the necessity for MSME leaders to cultivate entrepreneurial attributes and promote an atmosphere conducive to innovation. Organizations can enhance their performance metrics by investing in the Innovative Capabilities dimension, which encompasses a strategy emphasis on innovation, a conducive company culture, and practical knowledge management. Policymakers and practitioners can utilize these insights to build training programs and policies that foster leadership development and innovation in MSMEs. Additional research is advised to investigate other mediating or moderating variables, like technological advancements, market situations, or organizational frameworks.

Abstract

This study examines conflict management and dispute resolution in industrial relations in the Central Java region, Indonesia, using a qualitative case study approach. Primary data were collected from 20 in-depth interviews and 10 participatory observation sessions involving 25 key informants, including business owners, labor union representatives, professional mediators, and officials from the Department of Manpower. Secondary data were obtained from official documents as well as the annual reports of the Central Java Department of Manpower. The purpose of the study is to identify the interpretative and procedural obstacles in implementing Law No. 2 of 2004, and to assess the role of digital technology, ethical values, and transformational leadership in improving the mediation process. The findings indicate significant differences between the urban industrial sector and micro enterprises in rural areas, resulting in inefficiencies in conflict resolution. Additionally, the study found that the limited flow of information among stakeholders leads to miscommunication and a decrease in trust. The implementation of digital platforms in several companies in Semarang has been shown to enhance transparency and expedite communication processes. Moreover, transformational leadership that emphasizes open dialogue and active participation is deemed crucial in reducing conflict escalation. The practical implications of this research include enhancing mediator capacity through comprehensive training, developing integrated digital mediation infrastructure, and standardizing the interpretation of regulations. These findings contribute significantly to the development of holistic conflict resolution policies at both regional and global levels.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor in enhancing organizational productivity, and work schedule arrangements, including working on Saturdays, are becoming increasingly important. This study aims to evaluate the performance comparison between employees who work on Saturdays and those who are off on that day in Yogyakarta. The method used is an independent sample t-test to analyze the performance differences between the two groups. The results show that employees who are off on Saturdays have significantly better performance with an average score of 86.51 compared to 72.49 for those who work, with a p-value < 0.001. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of work policies that consider work-life balance to improve employee productivity. These findings provide new insights for management in designing more effective and sustainable work policies and open up opportunities for further research on factors affecting employee performance in a broader context.

Abstract

The advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) has significantly transformed supply chain management (SCM), particularly within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This literature review aims to synthesize recent research on the integration of IR 4.0 technologies in SCM for MSMEs, highlighting both opportunities and challenges. By examining peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in Scopus, this review provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge, identifies research gaps, and suggests future research directions. The integration of Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0) technologies into supply chain management (SCM) offers transformative potential for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving transparency. This literature review examines the adoption of key IR 4.0 technologies—such as IoT, big data analytics, AI, and blockchain within MSME supply chains, highlighting the opportunities and challenges encountered. Successful case studies from diverse sectors illustrate the practical benefits and strategies for overcoming adoption barriers. Despite the advantages, MSMEs face unique challenges, including financial constraints, lack of technical expertise, and cybersecurity risks. Future research should focus on scalable, cost-effective solutions tailored to MSMEs, addressing technological and human factors, and developing robust cybersecurity measures. Additionally, exploring supportive government policies and sustainable business models integrating IR 4.0 technologies is crucial. This review provides a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and offers directions for future research, aiming to facilitate the digital transformation of MSMEs and enhance their competitiveness and sustainability in the global market.
