Abstract

The role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is very fundamental as a pillar of the Indonesian economy. This study examines the effect of financial literacy on the performance of MSMEs with financial inclusion as a mediating variable conducted on MSMEs in Wero Village. The study focused on 40 MSME actors who were sampled. Questionnaires were given to respondents to obtain accurate data. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study showed that financial literacy did not have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. However, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion which is then proven to be effective as a mediator in the positive relationship between financial literacy and MSME performance. This study still has limitations, namely only examining MSMEs in Wero Village. So further research is needed so that the findings can be generalized.

The novelty in this research is that it uses the Bayesian analysis approach to the three models of approaches that have been and are often used, but in this case it is very different from previous researchers who have never used the Bayesian analysis approach

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of entrepreneurial leadership on the performance of food and beverage MSMEs in Cilacap. The research sample comprised 130 MSME participants. The sample was obtained using an online survey. This study employed Smart PLS 3.0 for analysis. The study indicates that entrepreneurial leadership positively influences MSME performance and innovative capability. Innovative capability favourably influences MSME performance and mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and MSME success. This study's drawback lies in its focus on food and beverage MSMEs in Cilacap, hindering the generalizability of the findings to other sectors or locations with distinct features. This study enhances the literature by empirically confirming the mediating function of Innovative Capability between Entrepreneurial Leadership and the performance of MSMEs, specifically within Indonesia's food and beverage industry. These findings emphasize the necessity for MSME leaders to cultivate entrepreneurial attributes and promote an atmosphere conducive to innovation. Organizations can enhance their performance metrics by investing in the Innovative Capabilities dimension, which encompasses a strategy emphasis on innovation, a conducive company culture, and practical knowledge management. Policymakers and practitioners can utilize these insights to build training programs and policies that foster leadership development and innovation in MSMEs. Additional research is advised to investigate other mediating or moderating variables, like technological advancements, market situations, or organizational frameworks.

Abstract

This study examines conflict management and dispute resolution in industrial relations in the Central Java region, Indonesia, using a qualitative case study approach. Primary data were collected from 20 in-depth interviews and 10 participatory observation sessions involving 25 key informants, including business owners, labor union representatives, professional mediators, and officials from the Department of Manpower. Secondary data were obtained from official documents as well as the annual reports of the Central Java Department of Manpower. The purpose of the study is to identify the interpretative and procedural obstacles in implementing Law No. 2 of 2004, and to assess the role of digital technology, ethical values, and transformational leadership in improving the mediation process. The findings indicate significant differences between the urban industrial sector and micro enterprises in rural areas, resulting in inefficiencies in conflict resolution. Additionally, the study found that the limited flow of information among stakeholders leads to miscommunication and a decrease in trust. The implementation of digital platforms in several companies in Semarang has been shown to enhance transparency and expedite communication processes. Moreover, transformational leadership that emphasizes open dialogue and active participation is deemed crucial in reducing conflict escalation. The practical implications of this research include enhancing mediator capacity through comprehensive training, developing integrated digital mediation infrastructure, and standardizing the interpretation of regulations. These findings contribute significantly to the development of holistic conflict resolution policies at both regional and global levels.
