Abstract

Body balance as one of the components of basic motor skills that are very much needed in mastering basic futsal technical skills, especially dribbling. This study aims to determine the relationship between body balance and futsal ball dribbling skills in students who are members of the futsal extracurricular at State Junior High School 3 Bengkulu Selatan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The subjects of the study were 26 students who were members of the futsal extracurricular. Data collection techniques were carried out through body balance tests (holding time in a certain position) and dribbling skills tests (measuring the time to complete dribbling obstacles). The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results of the analysis showed that students' body balance had an average value of 31.86 seconds, with most students in the "sufficient" and "good" categories. Meanwhile, dribbling skills showed an average travel time of 16.36 seconds, with the dominant category distribution in "sufficient" and "good". The results of the correlation test showed that there was a very strong and significant relationship between body balance and dribbling skills, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.952 and a significance of 0.000 (p <0.01). This finding indicates that body balance plays an important role in supporting dribbling skills in futsal. Therefore, the development of balance skills needs to be given attention in physical and technical training programs in the school environment. This study provides practical contributions for PJOK teachers, extracurricular coaches, and further researchers in designing sports coaching based on the development of basic motor skills.

This type of research is experimental research. The sample in this study were all extracurricular Futsal players of SMK Negeri 1 Bengkulu Selatan totalling 16 people. . The results of testing the hypothesis that the overall group obtained a mean initial test value of 18.31 standard deviation 5.67, a minimum value of 10, and a maximum value of 29, and a final test mean of 26.50, a standard deviation of 6.78, a minimum value of 15, and a maximum value of 35. Based on the measurement of the initial test and the final test using the t-test statistical approach of the overall training method group t count = 4.222 and t table (α = 0.05) = 1.753 which means t count> t table, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the practice of the target game driil method on the shooting skills of futsal players of SMK Negeri 1 Bengkulu Selatan. With the formalisation as stated in the previous theoretical study, the practice of the target game practice method is effective in improving futsal shooting skills.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of positive discipline through routine habituation programs for fifth-grade students at SDN Tambakbaya and to identify the obstacles encountered during the process. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects include the fifth-grade teacher, the principal, and ten students with high and low attendance levels. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that positive discipline is implemented through various habituation programs such as dhuha prayer, morning literacy, healthy exercise, and the 5S culture (smile, greet, salute, polite, courteous). These programs foster student discipline as reflected in punctuality, adherence to school rules, and responsibility for tasks. However, challenges include student inconsistency, diverse individual characters, and teachers’ limited time for supervision. It is concluded that positive discipline is effective in shaping students’ character but requires consistent support from the entire school community.
