Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, especially in the culinary sector, which is experiencing rapid growth. However, the dynamics of economic uncertainty due to the global crisis, inflation, and changes in macroeconomic policies pose great challenges in making investment decisions for MSME players. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence investment decisions of MSMEs in the culinary sector in the face of economic uncertainty. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on several culinary MSMEs in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with business owners and direct observation, then analysed using thematic analysis techniques. The results show that MSMEs' investment decisions are influenced by internal factors, such as capital, business strategy, and managerial skills, as well as external factors, such as government policies, market conditions, and access to digital technology. In situations of economic uncertainty, MSMEs tend to implement more flexible investment strategies, such as product diversification, cost efficiency, and marketing digitalisation. This research enriches the literature on MSME investment by highlighting the importance of business strategy adaptation in the face of economic uncertainty. The results also provide recommendations for the government and stakeholders to design policies that support the sustainability of MSMEs in the culinary sector.

Abstract

Creative industries based on local wisdom have a strategic role in the national economy, especially in creating jobs and increasing the competitiveness of local products. However, economic uncertainty, fluctuations in raw material prices, and limited access to capital are the main challenges in the financial management of business actors in this sector. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the financial risk management strategies implemented by local wisdom-based creative MSMEs to improve their business resilience. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations of MSME actors in the creative industry who rely on local resources. Data were analysed using thematic techniques to identify patterns of strategies applied in dealing with financial risks. The results show that MSME actors adopt various risk mitigation strategies, such as product diversification, utilisation of digital technology for marketing and financial transactions, and optimisation of local raw materials that are more stable and affordable. In addition, social capital such as community networks and gotong royong have been shown to play a role in enhancing business resilience. This study also highlights the importance of government policy support, including tax incentives and access to fintech-based capital, although there are still obstacles in its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe (1) marketing of sharia products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro, (2) third party funds at Sharia Indonesia KC Bojonegoro, (3) The effect of sharia product marketing on increasing third party funds at Sharia Indonesia KC Bojonegoro. In this study, sharia product marketing is an independent variable, while increasing third party funds is the dependent variable. This type of research uses quantitative research methods. While the data collection method uses interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained that (1) marketing of sharia products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro is classified as very good, this is indicated by an average of 46.8 with an answer percentage value of 85%, where this value is between 81%-100% so it can be concluded that marketing of sharia products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro is very good, (2) third party funds at Sharia Indonesia KC Bojonegoro are very good, this is indicated by an average of 25,9 with an answer percentage value of 86% where this value is between 81%-100% so that it can be concluded that the marketing of Islamic products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro is very good, (3) The effect of marketing Islamic products on increasing third party funds at Sharia Indonesia KC Bojonegoro has a positive effect, this is indicated by the results of hypothesis testing that the value of tc> ttable or 3.299. t table or 3.299> 2.002 with a significance value < 5% significance level or 0.002 < 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between marketing sharia products on increasing third party funds..

Abstract

In the era of globalisation and digitalisation, organisations are increasingly aware of the importance of training and motivation in improving employee performance. This study aims to explore the dynamics of training and motivation and their impact on employee performance. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach, which allows researchers to understand phenomena in depth through the perspective of participants. The main data sources in this research are in-depth interviews with employees and managers in several technology and local companies in Indonesia that have good training programmes and motivation strategies. The purpose of this study is to identify the key factors that influence the effectiveness of training and motivation in improving employee work performance and provide practical recommendations for companies in designing effective training programmes and motivation strategies.The results show that sustainable and structured training programmes and appropriate motivation strategies have a significant impact on improving employee skills, knowledge and work motivation. The combination of effective training and appropriate motivation is proven to provide a more significant increase in work performance compared to the application of one of these factors separately.

Abstract

Transformation of Human Resources (HR) management is key to addressing the challenges of a productive work culture in organisations. Key strategies implemented include improving the recruitment system, developing training programmes and continuous learning, and implementing an effective performance management system. Training programmes not only enhance employee skills but also attract top talent, improve retention, and strengthen the culture of innovation within the organisation.In addition, building a productive work culture through transparent communication and team building activities has been shown to improve collaboration, morale and employee engagement. The implementation of reward and recognition programmes also plays a role in maintaining motivation and improving individual and team performance.While challenges such as resistance to change remain, effective communication approaches, management support, and employee engagement in the transformation process are key solutions. By implementing the right strategies, organisations can create a more dynamic, innovative and competitive work environment to achieve long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimisation of data-driven management strategies in improving teaching quality in primary schools. In an educational context that is increasingly dependent on technology, the use of data to support educational decisions is crucial. This research adopts a qualitative approach using data triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with principals, teachers and administrative staff in several primary schools, as well as direct observation of the data-driven learning process. The main objective of this study is to understand how data-driven management strategies can be implemented in primary schools and analyse the factors that influence the effectiveness of its use in improving teaching quality. The results show that although the implementation of data-driven management has positive impacts, such as improved lesson planning and better communication with parents, the main challenge lies in the limited technological infrastructure and the lack of training for teachers in data management. The research also confirms that the successful use of data is highly dependent on the quality of training provided to teachers and the provision of adequate infrastructure. Overall, this study suggests the need for strengthening technical capacity and policies that support data management in primary schools to achieve optimisation of the use of data-based management in improving teaching quality.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is undergoing a significant transformation with the introduction of Merdeka Curriculum which aims to increase flexibility and innovation in teaching. This study aims to compare conventional curriculum management with Merdeka Curriculum in the context of schools in Cepu, Central Java. This research uses a qualitative approach with the main data sources being in-depth interviews and observations. The research informants included teachers, principals, and students from schools that implemented both curricula. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences, perceptions, and practices of stakeholders related to the implementation of the two curricula. The results showed that teachers in schools implementing Merdeka Curriculum reported increased flexibility in teaching and evaluation methods, as well as higher student motivation. In contrast, teachers in schools with the conventional curriculum felt limited by the rigid curriculum structure and complicated bureaucracy. Students in schools with Merdeka Curriculum also feel more motivated and involved in the learning process.

Abstract

Growth in the number of customers is the main indicator of the success of the banking industry, including Islamic banking, which faces challenges in increasing competitiveness amid the dominance of conventional banking. An effective promotional strategy is one of the key factors in attracting new customers and maintaining the loyalty of existing customers. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the promotion mix in increasing the number of customers at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro.This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with marketing managers and promotional staff, direct observation of promotional activities, and document analysis related to the number of customers and promotional costs. The results showed that PT Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Bojonegoro implemented several promotional strategies, namely advertising through print and digital media, personal selling involving marketers in providing education to prospective customers, sales promotion in the form of loyalty prizes, and publicity through news and social media. From the analysis of customer growth trends, it can be seen that the promotional strategies implemented succeeded in significantly increasing the number of customers, where there was an increase from 7 million customers in February to 19 million customers in August. In addition, the increase in promotional budget also contributed to the increase in the number of customers. This research confirms that the right combination of promotional strategies can increase the attractiveness and public trust in Islamic banking.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, especially in creating jobs and improving people's welfare. However, one of the main obstacles faced by MSMEs is access to capital. In this context, Islamic financing is a significant alternative for MSMEs to obtain financial support without having to rely on the interest-based conventional banking system. This study aims to analyse the role of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Pati Sub-Branch Office (KCP) financing in improving the sustainability and growth of MSMEs. This research uses a quantitative approach with a case study method. The data sources in this study include primary data obtained from interviews with MSME actors who received financing from BSI KCP Pati, as well as secondary data from BSI annual reports and related academic publications. The results showed that the majority of MSMEs experienced a significant increase in production capacity and income after obtaining Islamic financing. Financing schemes such as musyarakah and mudharabah provide more flexible and fair benefits for businesses compared to interest-based credit systems. In addition to the positive impact on business growth, this study also identifies several challenges in the application of Islamic financing, such as the lack of understanding of the Islamic financial system among businesses and the complex application procedures. Thus, education efforts and increased Islamic financial literacy for MSME players are needed so that the benefits of this financing can be accessed more widely and optimally. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of Islamic financial policies and increase the effectiveness of financing for MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in national economic growth, especially in creating jobs and improving people's welfare. To support their sustainability and development, access to financing is a major factor. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) through the Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) program plays a role in channeling business capital to MSME players to increase their business capacity. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of services and administration in optimizing the KUR program, with a focus on its implementation at BTN Blora Branch Office. This research used a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The research informants consisted of banking staff who handle KUR services, loan recipients, and regulators who oversee business credit policies. The main objective of this study was to analyze how administrative services affect the effectiveness of the KUR program, as well as to identify challenges faced in the implementation of digital banking services. The results show that although BTN's administrative services are well established, there are still challenges in procedural efficiency and digital literacy among customers. The use of digital systems in KUR administration has contributed to the acceleration of services, but the lack of socialization has resulted in a low level of utilization of digital services. Thus, a more effective strategy is needed in optimizing digital administration and mentoring for customers to ensure maximum utilization of KUR in the development of MSMEs.
