Abstract

This study aims to explore the utilization of interactive learning media in enhancing the quality of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning. The background of this research is based on the importance of learning media innovation in addressing the challenges of education in the digital era, which requires active student engagement. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the use of interactive media significantly enhances students’ learning interest, active participation, and understanding of Islamic Religious Education materials. Furthermore, interactive media provides a more engaging and contextual learning experience. However, several challenges were identified, including limited facilities and teachers’ technological competencies. Therefore, continuous training and institutional support are necessary to optimize the use of interactive media in Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze learning experiences and student independence in AI-based Hijaiyah letter pronunciation practice in elementary schools. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning provides opportunities to create more interactive, adaptive, and personalized learning processes based on students’ needs. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The participants were elementary school students engaged in Hijaiyah pronunciation learning using AI-based applications. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the use of AI in Hijaiyah pronunciation practice enhances students’ learning experiences, making them more engaging and enjoyable. In addition, students demonstrated increased learning independence, as indicated by their ability to practice independently, repeat materials as needed, and receive immediate feedback from the system. This study concludes that AI-based learning is effective in improving both learning experiences and student independence in Hijaiyah letter learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of digital literacy on learning quality and instructional innovation using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach in secondary education. Digital literacy is positioned as an exogenous variable, while learning quality and instructional innovation function as endogenous variables. The research employs a quantitative design with a survey method involving secondary school students. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using SEM to identify the relationships among variables. The findings indicate that digital literacy has a significant positive effect on learning quality and instructional innovation. Students with higher levels of digital literacy tend to demonstrate better engagement, deeper understanding of learning materials, and greater participation in innovative learning activities. Furthermore, digital literacy also indirectly contributes to enhancing instructional innovation through improved learning quality. These results highlight the importance of integrating digital literacy into educational practices to support effective and innovative learning in the era of educational transformation.

Abstract

The phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) has become a common psychological issue among adolescent social media users. This condition is characterized by excessive anxiety when individuals feel left behind from others’ social activities in the digital space, potentially affecting their mental health and social behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education in addressing the impact of FoMO among adolescents. The research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, while data validity is ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in fostering spiritual awareness, self-control, and values such as gratitude (shukr), contentment (qana’ah), and reliance on God (tawakkul), which help reduce FoMO tendencies among adolescents. Furthermore, the integration of Islamic values in learning enhances healthy and ethical digital literacy. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education can serve as both a preventive and curative solution in addressing the negative impacts of social media use.
