Abstract

This study explores the implementation of trauma healing and psychosocial interventions for children affected by the 2022 Cianjur earthquake. Natural disasters can significantly impact the mental well-being of survivors, especially children, who often experience symptoms such as anxiety, fear, and social withdrawal. Using a literature review method, the research emphasizes play therapy as a core strategy for trauma recovery. Play therapy and creative activities, including educational games and singing, were employed to help children express their emotions, rebuild confidence, and restore social functions. The findings suggest that trauma healing programs that incorporate play-based interventions are effective in addressing both short-term psychological distress and fostering long-term resilience. These activities also promote emotional recovery and social reintegration, contributing to the children's ability to face future challenges.

Abstract

Sustainable development in Indonesia is a complex challenge that requires close collaboration between government, communities, and the private sector. This article examines the critical role of government policies and regulations in supporting or hindering the achievement of sustainable development goals. Through an analysis of factors including community participation, communication, and collaboration, the article identifies existing barriers and effective forms of community participation in natural resource management. In addition, lessons learned from successful local initiatives demonstrate the importance of community engagement, environmental education, and technological innovation. Proposed strategies to address these challenges include improving communication, encouraging community involvement, building strong partnerships, and adopting environmentally friendly technologies. By adopting an integrated and collaborative approach, it is hoped that the sustainable development goals can be achieved, creating a more inclusive and sustainable future for future generations.

Abstract

Indonesia's coastal areas hold great potential in terms of economy, ecology, and social. However, unplanned development and excessive exploitation of resources have caused serious environmental damage, such as pollution, abrasion, and degradation of mangrove and coral reef ecosystems. This article discusses the main forms and causes of coastal environmental damage and outlines effective strategies and solutions in realizing sustainable development. The approach used is integrated and participatory, with an emphasis on the importance of synergy between sectors, community involvement, ecosystem conservation, regulatory enforcement, and the implementation of the blue economy. The results of the discussion show that the success of coastal development depends on cross-party collaboration and consistent implementation of sustainable principles. The obligation of long-term commitment so that development is not only beneficial for the current generation but also ensures commitment to future generations.

Abstract

This article discusses pedagogy relevant to individuals with physical and motor impairments. The main focus is on understanding and analyzing the underlying causes of these impairments, a crucial step in designing effective educational interventions. Physical and motor impairments can affect students' academic, social, and personal participation and achievement. By identifying the root causes—whether genetic, neurological, environmental, or a combination thereof—educators can develop more appropriate, adaptive, and inclusive pedagogical strategies. This article highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in assessment and intervention, as well as the vital roles of differentiated pedagogy and universal design for learning (UDL).

Abstract

Earthquakes, as sudden natural disasters, can cause serious psychological trauma, especially in children. This article aims to describe the implementation of community-based trauma healing to support the emotional recovery of children affected by earthquakes. Based on direct experiences in volunteer work and field observation at post-earthquake shelters, community-based approaches using social activities, art, and play were found to be effective in reducing trauma symptoms. Trauma healing serves not only to address short-term emotional distress, but also to help restore children’s sense of safety and hope in post-disaster environments.
