Focus and Scope Focus EDUCHILD Journal of Early Childhood Education is a scientific journal dedicated to disseminating the results of research and conceptual studies in the field of Early Childhood Islamic Education. Publications in the EDUCHILD Journal of Early Childhood Education include original research and conceptual studies on Islamic religious education and related issues that have not been previously published elsewhere. The aim of this journal is to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish original research articles as well as review articles. Scope This journal emphasizes theoretical and practical studies on contemporary issues. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan bahasa anak usia dan apakah penggunaan media cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Assyifa, yang berlokasi di Desa Bana Kecamatan Bontocani Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre- Eksperimental Design One Group pretest-Posttest Design, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan pedagogik. Data diperoleh dari observasi dan tes terhadap anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan bahasa anak usia 4-5 tahun sebelum digunakannya media cerita bergambar di TK Assyifa Desa Bana masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan data pretest diperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 65 dan skor terendah sebesar 40 dengan jumlah rata-rata 51.15, median 51.25 dan modus 55 serta standar deviasi sebesar 6.504. Peningkatan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 4-5 tahun sesudah digunakannya media cerita bergambar di TK Assyifa Desa Bana mengalami peningkatan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan posttest diperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 100 dan skor terendah 80 dengan jumlah rata-rata 85.77, median 84.09 dan modus 85 serta standar deviasi 6.723. Setelah diuji dengan SPSS versi 26 nilai signifikan 0.001 Ë‚ 0.05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang berarti ada pengaruh dalam penggunaan media cerita bergambar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Assyifa Desa Bana.

Abstract

Mental well-being has emerged as a paramount concern in today's educational framework. Even though academic development is a primary focus, students' emotional and psychological stability holds equal significance. Studies indicate that a notable percentage of the youth grapple with mental challenges, with many not accessing the necessary care, which in turn affects their educational journey. The roles of educators and parents are instrumental in providing this essential support. However, various hurdles, such as limited resources, societal misconceptions, and communication gaps, hinder the implementation of robust mental health initiatives in educational settings and homes. Nevertheless, with strategic training, strengthened collaboration between institutions and families, and supportive policies, It is possible to create a supportive learning environment that prioritizes and improves students' overall wellbeing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan permainan bowling terhadap interaksi sosial anak di kelompok A di TK Aisyah Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone. Pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan permainan bowling dengan interaksi sosial anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyah, yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Tibojong Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS statistics 29, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan pedagogik. Data diperoleh dari angket dan dokumentasi terhadap anak dikelompok A. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan permainan bowling terhadap interaksi sosial anak terdapat korelasi permainan bowling (X) dengan pelaksanaan interaksi sosial (Y) anak kelompok A di TK Aisyah Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur. Dengan perhitungan koefisien rxy hitung sebesar 22.259, lebih besar dari r tabel sebesar 5.953. rhitung > rtabel (22.259>5.953). Koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan Y yakni  permainan bowling (X) dengan interaksi sosial (Y) adalah 0.961 dengan menunjukkan tingkat hubungan yang kuat.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the contribution of parents in Asri Kindergarten Waru, Bulu Tempe Village, West Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. And to know the social emotional management of early childhood during online learning at Asri Waru Kindergarten, Bulu Tempe Village, Tanete District Riattang Barat, Bone Regency. This research method uses a type of qualitative research, for obtain the desired data researchers using primary data and secondary. Furthermore, it was analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the contribution of parents in online learning at Asri Waru Kindergarten, Bulu Tempe Village, Tanete District West Riattang Bone Regency, as an educator with priority children's interests and children's needs, the role of parents as controllers with regulate the attitude of children, parents as facilitators by providing facilities and infrastructure for children, while parents act as mentors, parents can provide direction or guidance to children. As for social management emotional early childhood during online learning, namely respect where children can respect others, adjust themselves so that children can be accepted environment, and solidarity with children.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the use of gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency and to determine the impact of gadgets on the morale of children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency. which uses descriptive qualitative research with pedagogic, psychological and sociological approaches to obtain the desired data using primary and secondary data. Then analyzed by: 1. Reducing the data, 2. presenting the data, and 3. drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are two forms of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, namely children often access YouTube applications, games and also Tiktok applications and children use different times, children use gadgets with duration under 1 hour, 1 hour and 2 hours a day which is used repeatedly and each use takes 10-15 minutes. There are two impacts of using gadgets on children's morals, namely positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of gadgets for children is that they can train and improve intelligence in terms of knowing literacy, thinking power, high curiosity and can also increase self-confidence for children. The negative impact is that the child has not been able to manage the time of using the device, emotions that still need to be controlled, showing angry emotions, crying, rebelling and even saying disrespectful words to parents and other people.
