Abstract

Peranan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi itu bisa berdampak positif dan juga bisa berdampak negatif. Hal yang kini menjadi persoalan adalah penggunaan teknologi masih lebih banyak dikendalikan dan dikuasai oleh orang-orang yang moralitasnya kurang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Selain itu, pengguna  teknologi juga banyak dari kalangan remaja. Dampak negatif dari kemajuan teknologi di antaranya adalah seperti maraknya kasus kekerasan, pelecehan seksual, hedonisme, masyarakat konsumtif, mengedepankan gaya hidup, dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini juga dapat dipicu oleh kurangnya pemahaman remaja dalam melakukan interaksi di media sosial. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada para santri Rumah Tahfidz al-Quran (RTQ) Dinar di Srengseng Kota Jakarta Barat tentang nilai-nilai Islam atau akhlak bermedia sosial. Sehingga, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan nilai-nilai Islam bagi santri dan penggunaan media sosial secara bijak setelah diadakan bimbingan dan penyuluhan. Metode pelaksanaan  berupa ceramah dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peserta diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai islami dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka, termasuk dalam berinteraksi di media sosial.

Abstract

Majelis taklim as one of the non-formal educational institutions in Indonesia seems to have to grapple with the progress and development of the times. Moving further without keeping up with the pace of the times will cause the majelis taklim to continue lagging behind. This research aims to uncover the forms of innovation in the majelis taklim, as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors that can influence its development. The research utilizes qualitative research methods through descriptive-analytical data analysis.The results of this research reveal that the innovation in the majelis taklim Miftahul Jannah primarily lies in the established curriculum and existing management structure. The supporting factor for innovation in the majelis taklim is the cohesion among the congregants, administrators, and mentors. On the other hand, the inhibiting factor revolves around the inability of the majelis taklim to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Abstract

The issue of moral crisis amidst the development of time, both personally and externally, becomes a significant concern for society as a whole. The tradition of mushofahah becomes an interesting phenomenon in the community at Musholla Ahlul Kisa Darul Musthofa Tarim, Yemen, in an effort to address moral issues. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with ethnographic research type. Primary data were obtained through interviews and observations, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The results of this study explain that there are three processes of mushofahah tradition, starting from before the dawn call to prayer and after the dawn prayer, as well as an interesting tradition of giving gifts to Habib Umar bin Hafidz. The values formed include moral values towards Allah, the Prophet, the Teacher, and social communities. The impact of the mushofahah tradition is the strengthening of family ties, building positive relationships between students and teachers, and eliminating seniority in the pesantren environment. Keywords: Mushofahah, Tradition, Morality, Tarim

Abstract

The closeness between Indonesian scholars (ulama) and scholars from Hadhramaut, Yemen, is undeniable, as we have known through various literature and the existence of habaib (Islamic scholars) in Indonesia. The Dauroh Shoifiyyah Tarim Hadhramaut program in 2023 was conducted in Darul Musthafa and Daruzzahra, Hadhramaut. This research aims to describe and explain the learning program, the supporting factors, the hindering factors, and the impacts of the Dauroh Shoifiyyah program in 2023. This research was conducted using a qualitative method, specifically phenomenological research. The learning program of Dauroh Shoifiyyah covers topics such as creed (aqidah), jurisprudence (fiqih), interpretation of the Quran (tafsir), traditions of the Prophet (hadis), the biography of the Prophet (sirah nabawiyah), transactions (muamalah), Islamic mysticism (tasawuf), preaching (dakwah), and retracing the steps of past scholars (napak tilas ulama-ulama terdahulu). Supporting factors for this program can be found in the services provided by the Dauroh committee, while hindering factors include health issues and language differences. The impacts generated include serving as role models for teachers emulated by the participants and the cultivation of the habit of remembrance (dhikr) and sending blessings upon the Prophet (bershalawat) by the participants. Keywords: Learning, Dauroh, Habib Omar, Tarim

Abstract

The relationship between science and religion in the construction of Islamic knowledge tends to be dynamic. On one hand, some scholars argue that science and religion are two distinct entities, each with its own domain of study. On the other hand, others believe that there is a dialectical (integrated) relationship between science and religion, wherein they can complement each other's deficiencies. Science without religion may lose its values and ethics, while religion without science may lack the scientific dimension as a fundamental part of established knowledge construction. The aim of this research is to analyze in-depth the relationship between science, religion, and mathematics from an Islamic perspective. The analysis is conducted through library research, utilizing various reputable literature such as books and scientific journals. The findings of this research indicate that the relationship between science and religion (Islam) can take at least four forms: conflict, independence, dialogue, and integration. This conclusion is drawn from the perspectives of several scholars, including Ian G. Barbour, Fazlur Rahman, Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi, Muhammad Nauquib Al-Attas, Mulyadhi Kartanegara, and Muhammad Amin Abdullah. The conflict between science and religion is not exclusive to Islam but is also observed in Christianity when philosophical views are deemed contradictory to church dogmas. The debate between science, philosophy, and religion in Islam began with Imam Al-Ghazali's critique of philosophical constructs in his work "Tahafut al-Falasifah" (The Incoherence of the Philosophers), which was responded to by Ibn Rushd with his work "Tahafut al-Tahafut" (The Incoherence of the Incoherence). To bridge the scholarly dichotomy, Muslim scholars propose the concept of interdisciplinary integration between religious sciences (al-ulūm al-dīniyah) and general sciences or philosophy (al-ulūm al-‘alamiyah / al-falāsifah).

Abstract

Discussions regarding the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran in the Middle East have always been framed as a sectarian conflict between Sunni-Wahhābism and Shia. The study data presented in this article provide a distinct, exhaustive empirical picture. This study aims to present a conceptual framework for the relationship between religious theology in Islam (Sunni Wahhābi and Shia-ism) and the competitive conflict in the Gulf region, the struggle for dominance in the Middle East region, as a variable for the protracted conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and to predict the future of relations between the two countries following the foreign policy of Muhammad bin Salman. A review of the discussion employing an inductive library research methodology. To generalize a deviation from purely accidental phenomena. In order to analyze this topic in greater depth, the author borrows theory from Max Weber regarding the protestant ethic and spirit of capitalism by placing religion as a belief system and state conflict as a structure of social group action. This study's findings assume that the issue of Sunni-Shia sectarianism is religious propaganda used to win the hegemonic competition in the struggle for territory and dominance in the Gulf region of the Middle East. Before the reign of Muhammad bin Salman, this condition had not changed substantially. In Weber's framework, there has been a distinction known as "ethical inter-minism" between two ethics. On the one hand, the structure of moral ethics is founded on the moral values of Sunni and Shia Islam. But on the political side, moral responsibility confronts the obligation to maintain the disintegration of the nation and state, which is a means to wage war.

Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country which is currently actively carrying out development, both physical development such as buildings, bridges, roads, ports and other physical development as well as non-physical development such as mental rehabilitation. The suitability of a building is a requirement that must be met to obtain a functionally fit certification. Fulfillment of eligibility has several requirements such as safety, health, comfort and convenience. The Nirmala Mother and Child Hospital building is located on Jalan Attorney General Suprapto, Kediri City, East Java. Based on the results of interviews with project supervisors and direct observations in the field, building planning does not refer to the Minister of Health Regulation. This study aims to evaluate the comparison of the existing spatial layout of the Nirmala Mother and Child Hospital with Minister of Health Regulation No. 40 of 2022. Results of the evaluation of the building's functional suitability evaluation based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 40 of 2022 on the spatial layout of the Nirmala Kediri Mother and Child Hospital has met the spatial planning requirements according to the Minister of Health, but with the caveat that there must be an additional waiting room in each examination and treatment room.

Abstract

The current problem is when children are far from the Quran, therefore the role of Quran learning institutions is needed to nurture the future generation through innovative and relevant learning methods. This study aims to determine the existing learning programs in RTQ Dinar, their processes, and the factors that hinder and support learning. The research method used is qualitative ethnographic research, with descriptive analytical data presentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the foundation head and examiners from Ummi. The results of this study show that the learning program consists of various levels similar to formal schools, and there are also graduation exams. The learning process is conducted using the Ummi method. Supporting factors include the quality of teachers, teacher remuneration, and the relationship between the institution and the students' guardians. The inhibiting factors include student inconsistency, inconsistent timing, and teacher turnover.   Keywords: Innovation, Learning, Quran

Abstract

Penguatan akhlak sangat penting untuk para anak yatim, karena kebutuhan akan pendidikan yang berkurang dari segi pendidikan keluarga menyebabkan kebutuhan anak yatim akan pendidikan lebih dibutuhkan. Selain itu dalam menjalani pendidikan sebagaimana manusia seperti pada umumnya, anak yatim membutuhkan finansial yang kuat dalam rangka menopang hidupnya agar mereka tidak terlantar dan yang paling buruk adalah penyimpangan sosial yang dilakukan oleh anak yatim. Sehingga pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menanamakan nilai akhlak kepada anak yatim sebagai standar moral ideal dalam hidup anak yatim. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di panti asuhan yatim dan dhuafa Mizan Amanah, Cidodol, Jakarta Selatan, kegiatan pengabdian ini bekerjasama dengan Lembaga Studi Islam Al Awfiya, hal ini dilakukan agar terdapat sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dengan masyarakat. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode penyampaian materi, hiburan, dan penyaluran infak kepada anak yatim. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan atas pentingnya akhlak keislaman berupa akhlak kepada Allah dan Rasulullah, akhlak kepada orang tua dan sosial, dan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri. Selain dari segi ruhani, dukungan finansial terhadap anak yatim agar para anak yatim dapat hidup sejahtera di dunia maupun di akhirat. Kekurangan dalam penelitian ini adalah waktu yang sempit sehingga diharapkan dengan adanya pengabdian ini dapat memotivasi dan menambah litertur untuk para peneliti agar dapat memberdayakan anak-anak yatim.
