Abstract

ABSTRAK   Rotan merupakan bahan baku dalam pembuatan produk mebel yang masih digemari oleh masyarakat luas. Salah satunya berupa kursi yang digunakan sebagai fasilitas duduk. Hal tersebut didasari oleh keunggulan bahan baku rotan yang mudah dibentuk dan dilengkungkan. Penggunaan teknologi dalam pengolahan rotan merupakan salah satu kunci berkembangnya industri furnitur terutama di sebagian kawasan Cirebon. Teknologi yang digunakan pun menyesuaikan dengan sifat mekanis rotan. Salah satu penggunaan teknologi tersebut berupa teknik pelengkungan/bending rotan yang mampu menciptakan berbagai macam bentuk organis yang berkesan dinamis pada desain kursi rotan. Keunggulan bahan rotan pun menjadi alasan mengapa sampai saat ini kursi berbahan rotan tetap digandrungi oleh peminatnya. Kelebihan tersebut disebabkan oleh sifat rotan yang ringan, mampu menyerap pewarna dengan baik, serta elastis sehingga mudah dibentuk dan menghasilkan ragam desain yang sesuai dengan karakter tanaman tersebut. One of them used a chair as a seat facility. It’s based on the advantage of rattan materials are easily shaped and curved. The use of technology in the processing of rattan is one key to the develop of the furniture industry, especially in some areas at Cirebon. One use of such technology in the form of bending rattan technics to create various forms of organic dynamic impression on the design rattan chairs. Excellence rattan also be the reason why until now chairs made of rattan remains loved by devotees. Excess is due to the nature of the light rattan, can absorb dyes well, and elastic so easy to set up and produce a variety of designs to suit the character of the plant. Abstract

ABSTRACT Synthetic rattan  is a alternative materials that  use of a plastic base material as a replacement element. The origin of the presence of synthetic rattan is one of the government's efforts and craftsmen rattan cane to avoid shortages and to help preserve the environment. Texture, color, shape, type of cane synthetic rattan is a diverse and easily applied to other materials such as aluminum, iron and others. Rattan chair is not very popular presence, craftsmen rattan export more abroad, many of them think that the seats of rattan is still traditional, but the presence of synthetic rattan chairs made ​​from many forms that can be created in accordance with the development of a more modern era. Made from synthetic wicker chair has its own advantages and drawbacks same thing with the original rattan, depending on taste or desire in your selection. Asal mula keberadaan rotan sintetis yaitu salah satu upaya pemerintah dan pengrajin rotan untuk menghindari kelangkaan rotan alam dan ikut melestarikan lingkungan. Tekstur, warna, bentuk, jenis anyaman pada rotan sintetis lebih beragam dan mudah diaplikasikan dengan material lain seperti alumunium, besi dan lain-lain. Kursi rotan sendiri memang kurang begitu populer keberadaannya, pengrajin rotan lebih banyak mengekspor keluar negeri, banyak yang beranggapan bahwa kursi berbahan dasar rotan masih bersifat tradisional, tetapi dengan adanya kursi rotan berbahan dasar sintetis banyak bentuk yang bisa diciptakan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman yang lebih modern. Kursi berbahan dasar rotan sintetis memiliki kelebihan serta kekurangannya sendiri sama hal nya dengan rotan asli, tergantung selera atau keinginan dalam memilihnya.   Kata kunci : Kursi, Rotan Alami, Rotan sintetis, Rumah tinggal

Abstract

ABSTRAK Arsitektur tradisional terlahir dari budaya dan di wariskan oleh generasi sebelumnya. Salah satu Arsitektur tradisional yang masih bertahan adalah arsitektur tradisional masyarakat adat kanekes atau dikenal dengan masyarakat baduy yang tinggal di wilayah Pegunungan Kendeng, Kabupaten Lebak, Kecamatan Lewi Damar, Banten – Indonesia. Arsitektur tradisional yang bercirikan kesederhanaan namun mengandung nilai filosofi yang tinggi. Serta tetap menjaga kesinambungan antara manusia dan alam. Arsitektur Masyarakat adat kanekes masih terikat dengan aturan adat, sehingga nilai tradisional makin bertambah kuat. Abstract

ABSTRAK Dewasa ini sering dijumpai restoran dengan menerapkan tema pada desain interiornya. Tema-tema yang digunakan beragam mulai dari yang natural hingga klasik. Penggunaan tema pada interior tidak hanya dilihat dari segi estetik maupun bentuk dari furniturnya saja, namun penggunaan materialnya juga berpengaruh terhadap tema yang akan diterapkan, Furnitur dan material haruslah sesuai dengan tema sehingga antara furnitur, material dan tema dapat menjadi satu kesatuan yang harmonis serta tercipta suasana yang berbeda dari restoran lainnya serta menjadikan nilai jual dari restoran tersebut. Demikian halnya dengan restoran Nanny’s Pavillon di Bandung. Nanny’s Pavillon ialah restoran dengan sentuhan tema yang berbeda pada setiap cabangnya. Nanny’s Pavillon memiliki cabang di dua kota yaitu di Bandung dan Jakarta. Tema-tema yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu garden, library, bathroom, terrace, barn, storage. Abstract

Abstrak Untuk kualitas suasana, desain interior dan arsitektur Brussels Spring sangat menarik perhatian. Restoran ini memiliki desain yang unik, pemilihan warna dan struktur yang tidak biasa untuk daerah sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menemukan banyaknya detail desain yang pemilihan materialnya sangat fungsional dan sesuai dengan aktifitas dan lingkungan di Brussels Spring Resto & Cafe khususnya cabang Jalan Setiabudhi Bandung. Semua itu juga berhubungan dengan kecerdasan dalam memilih material yang cocok agar sesuai dengan faktor fungsi, ekonomi, ketahanan dan tema, sehingga tidak merugikan pemilik dan nyaman bagi pengunjung. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah survey lapangan dan pengamatan langsung didukung teori pada buku-buku dan literatur yang berkaitan. Kata kunci : Brussels Spring, material, interior, fungsi, aktifitas   Abstract In terms of the atmosphere quality, Brussels Spring has very attractive interior design and architecture. This restaurant has a unique design, a color selection and structure which are unusual and different from others in its area and its surroundings. This study found that Brussels Spring Resto and Cafe, especially the one on Jalan Setiabudhi Bandung, has a lot of design details that is very functional and suitable with both its activities and its interior environment. All of that is also related to intelligence in selecting suitable material with its function, economic, durability and its concept design, so that it shall not disserve the owner and yet give comfort to the customers. ABSTRAK Galeri merupakan salah satu bagian penting dari seni yang pada umumnya berfungsi sebagai wadah atau tempat dimana seniman dapat menyimpan dan memamerkan hasil karya indah sebagai cerminan ekspresi jiwanya . Selasar Sunaryo Art Space adalah salah satu galeri lukisan yang cukup terkenal di dunia. Bahkan tempat ini menjadi salah satu kunjungan wisata kesenian internasional. Salah satu peran penting dalam sebuah galeri adalah fleksibilitas pada elemen interior. Pentingnya fleksibilitas pada galeri mengingat seringnya pemakaian pada pameran temporer. Selasar Sunaryo mempunyai fleksibilitas yang cukup tinggi karena saat ini telah menampung berbagai macam karya seni dan kebudayaan dari berbagai seniman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah survey langsung pada Selasar Sunaryo Art Space. Dengan menyimpulkan komponen yang paling mendasar dalam pembentukan suatu ruangan terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu langit-langit (ceiling), dinding (wall),dan lantai (flooring) . Ketiga komponen ini berkaitan erat secara kasat mata atas fungsi dan nilai yang dilihat dari segi estetikanya. Selasar sunaryo art gallery space is one rather famous painting in the world. Even this place intoone of tourist visits international art. One important role in a gallery is an element of flexibility in the interior. The importance of flexibility at the gallery considering often temporary use in the exhibition. Selasar sunaryo have high flexibility because recently have accommodate various kinds of works of art and culture from various artist. The method used was research survey directlyinto selasar sunaryo art space. To deduce most basic component in the formation of a room consisting of three parts those are the ceiling, wall, and flooring. Abstract

Sunaryo Art SpaceErindiah Setiowati[Tata Cahaya pada Selasar Sunaryo Art Space – Bandung] -2AbstractInternal lighting is very important. Sources of light may come from natural or simulated sources. As in art galleries, lighting functions to support activities inside the gallery as they generally house the many art work of various artists, whether for safe-keeping or display. These include paintings, statues, and other works of art. The technical specifications for lighting in galleries covers the type, technique, and arrangement of lightings on each artwork and display. These include the luminence and flux needed to determine the amount of light required in a gallery, the influencing factors presented by the building itself, the artifacts itself, and form of display. The Selasar Sunaryo Art Space (SSAS) is an gallery which possesses the most complete facilities in Bandung. SSAS was built by Drs. Sunaryo, a prominent Indonesian artist who has produced many paintings and statues, and has received many awards in the field of art. SSAS was built in 1998. In addition to conducting activities related to contemporary art, the gallery also displays Sunaryo's works of art as well as of other artists wishing to exhibit their works. SSAS was selected as object for this study because of its uniqueness. The gallery uses natural lighting for most of its displays by using many glass windows along the walls of its display rooms. SSAS is also used to exhibit other forms of art work and its flexible lighting can be adjusted to various purposes.Key Word: Lighting, Art Gallery, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space.
