Abstract

This paper elaborates the construction of religious identity (Islam) and ethnicity (Malay)through ideological concept „Masuk Melayu‟ (lit. „becoming Malay‟) in Malaysia. Theintertwined religion and ethnicity bring about political notion and practice which combine bothas an ideology of political culture in Malaysia. The ideology has been used as a parameter tomanage political and societal life with the multicultural characteristic in Malaysia. It alsodemonstrates that the construction of religious identity and ethnicity in Malaysia, as well asother Southeast Asia countries, generally might not be separated from colonialism discourseoccurred in the past. Colonialism had inherited socio-cultural and political systems by which,then, become the foundation of governmental bureaucracy activity and the establishment of apolitical culture of Southeast Asia societies until today. The postcolonial government inMalaysia, however, has been continuing such construction of identity by adding contextualpolitical meaning and practice innovatively to maintain and sustain their political power.Masuk Melayu is an arena for negotiating political power by injecting religious identity ofIslam as a powerful political axis in Malaysia.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies advance so quickly penetrated allthese sectors of life. The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) israpidly increasing.The need for a concept and mechanism of learning (education) -based IT isinevitable. This concept becomes known as e-learning brings the influence of conventional educationtransformation process into a digital form, both contents (contents) and the system. Currently, elearning concept has been widely accepted by the world community, as evidenced by the widespreadimplementation of e-learning, especially in educational institutions (schools, training, anduniversity).This system is an efficient and effective system for using only an Internet connection will be realized alearning. Sumber process of learning in this digital era known as OER (Open EducationalResources) that any of the assets or learning resources (print / electronic) that can be accessed,download and use free and open to the public (anyone) for the sake of learning and research.Without the need to file a written permission to the creator/publisher (copyright) (Dholakia, king, &baraniuk, 2006; OECD, 2007). Learning resources are utilized and developed in Higher EducationDistance (Newspapers) as an online learning media (online media).

Abstract

This article is the result of community service activities aimed at the improvement of skills ofpartner communities that teachers SMPN 2 Balongbendo bias formulate instructional designappropriate and adequate by the scientific approach and relevant to the local requirements andcan implement an authentic assessment on her students. The benefits of this abdimas activities,among others: (1) Master Junior High School 2 Balongbendo have an understanding of theimportance of design concepts and learning application that is based on a scientific approach;(2) Teachers in Secondary Schools 2 Balongbendo able to use a scientific approach (scientificapproach) in learning; and (3) Teachers in Secondary Schools 2 Balongbendo able toimplement authentic assessment on student competency achievement of students in accordancewith the strategy as well as relevant local requirements. Training and mentoring done bylectures, video screenings, discussion, interactive dialogue, brainstorming and workingpractices. Abdimas overall activities carried out within the period of 7 months.

Abstract

This study aims to see how far the role of youth organizations in improving theunderstanding of the insight of the archipelago among young Indonesians. Thisbackground of the archipelago insight is an important and strategic conception thatmust be understood, lived and practiced by Indonesian youth. As is known, the youthorganization in Indonesia is very much, so that number must be optimized in order tobe able to immerse the understanding, appreciation, and practice of archipelagoinsight to form a strong and strong Indonesian youth. This research uses qualitativedescriptive research method. The present and future youth organizations are expectedto continue to contribute actively to enhance young people on the concept of insightinto the archipelago through implementation in the field of political, economic, social,defense and security. If it is capable, the Indonesian nation will be able to achieve itsnational goals, goals, and vision as mandated by the founders of the nation.

Abstract

In this study, used types of quantitative research, with the goal to determine differencesthat Diligent Student Achievement is Reading and Reading graders Not Diligent V. In thisstudy there was no special treatment of the research object. The population or the entiresubject in this study were students of class V Public Elementary School District 01 DistrictBanyuates Lacker school year 2015/2016 with a total population of 32 students. Thesample in this study was all students of class V SD Negri 01 Academic Year 2015/2016Banyuates District of Sampang numbered as many as 32 students. To prove theadmissibility of the value t table hypothesis tested by t-test analysis results of hypothesistesting as follows. From these results obtained t = 1.813 and the outcome of the t-countvalue is smaller than the table level significant 5% with N = 32-2(D.b = 30) is 2,042 sorefused Hypothesis alternative (HA) and accept the null hypothesis (H0), so it can beconcluded that there is no difference significant between student achievement are diligentlyread and diligently read in class V SDN country 01.

Abstract

The potential of a nation is determined by various things, among others: the population,quality of human resources (HR), natural resources, moral, and mental of the nationitself. Indonesia is a country with great territory, natural resources, and humanresources. The quality of our environment is now apprehensive, because of thedestruction of forests, forest fires, landslides, deforestation. It needs a social movementwith all components of society to create healthy living environment, green forest,greening on the western slopes of G.Wilis Madiun Regency . Madiun Regency has alarge area, large natural resources and hutanlebat, but strangely regional economicpower is not as large as the area and natural resources like other areas. Currently,forest destruction on the G.Wilis slope is quite alarming, both within the forest andoutside the forest. Views of deforested forests, arid lands, landslide cliffs occureverywhere on the western slopes of Wilis mountain, Flora and fauna are damaged, thecontent of 02 (oxygen) is thinning. For that required social movement of all societystart, ulama ', umara', young generation, student, student, youth cadets, santri pondokpesantren, social organization, all citizen, TNI / Polri to preserve forest. This researchis a qualitative research, data collection through interview, deep observation,documentation, with data analysis through stages: Data Collection, Data Reduction,Display data, Conclution / Vervying. The results show that there has been forestdestruction on the western slopes of G.Wilis Madiun Regency and reforestation /reforestation required for the green forest to return, flora / fauna grow and avoidedlandslides and fresh air / autoproduction.
