Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the results of narrative writing learning through series of picture teaching with multimedia aids. The subjects were grade VIIIA students of SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada in academic year 2017/2018 as many as 26 students. The object was the students’ narrative writing learning outcomes. It used classroom action research (CAR) which covered for 2 (two) cycles, including planning, action, observation/ evaluation, and reflection in each cycle. The data collection was conducted through classroom observation and test. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study in narrative writing showed there was an increase in the average of learning outcomes from 72,5 in cycle I to 78,7 in cycle II, students’ learning completeness from 62% in cycle-1 to be 88% cycle-2, and learning absorpion power from cycle-1 72,5% to be 78,7% in cycle-2.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ competence in drawing AutoCAD through peer tutors. It involved students of Class XI Machine A. It was a Class Action Research carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Magelang in the Mechanical Engineering Program in the Academic Year 2017/2018. The results showed that peer tutors increased students’ learning activeness. There was also an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II and there was an increase in activeness in each cycle. The mean scores in the pre-cycle was 71.61, increasing in cycle I with 75.84 and again in cycle II with 85.61. Thus both hypotheses were accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to solve contextual problems and mathematics learning achievement through the application of discovery learning models with cooperative learning background assisted by LAS and BAS media. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in class IXA of SMP Negeri 2 Banjarnegara in the academic year 2019/2020. Subjects were 32 students, 14 male and 18 female. The study was conducted in 2 cycles with procedures: a) planning; b) implementation; c) observation; d) reflection. Data collection techniques with observation and tests. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive methods and descriptive statistics. The results showed increased ability, students who have high and very high categories from 25% to 68.76% then 90.625%. Learning achievement increased from an average of 74.5 to 86.34 and finally 90.53 or (21.52%) and mastery learning increased from 65.63% (21 students) to 87.5% (28 students) and finally 100 % (32 students) or increased 33.33% from the beginning to the end. The results of this study are expected to be useful for teachers to reference their learning innovations, for schools to facilitate teacher learning in an effort to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve collaboration and student learning achievement PKn through the application of cooperative learning models assisted by educational crossword puzzles. This Classroom Action Research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara class IX E in semester 2 of 2018/2019 Academic Year. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. The data in this study were obtained through observation and written test methods. The results showed that the ability of students to collaborate had increased from pre cycle (27.38%), cycle 1 (72.13%) and cycle II (88%). The average value of PKn student learning achievement also increased from pre-cycle (76.27), cycle I (81.46) and cycle II (87.62). While students' learning completeness experienced a significant increase, from pre-cycle (53.85%), cycle I (80.77%) and cycle II (100%). So it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Aided by Educational Crossword Puzzles can improve students' PKn collaboration and learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the increase of students’ achievement in VII grade of Islamic Junior High School of Cendekia, Cianjur by using digital literacy-based learning. It was conducted in Taharah lesson. The subjects were 49 students of VII-a and VII-d including 22 males and 27 females. This Classroom Action Research was conducted within two cycles. Data collection techniques were done by test and observations. They were then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques comparing the results among data of each cycles. The results indicated an increase of students’ achievement. In the first cycle it was only in low then raise into fair, and finally in good category. The score was going up from 57,2 to 71,9 and 83,6 at last.
