Abstract

Introduction: Vocational High Schools (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK) are educational institutions that play an important role in preparing graduates who are ready to compete in the business and industrial sectors. The teaching factory program is one of the SMK initiatives designed as a practical learning platform that enables students to develop work skills and entrepreneurial competencies. In this context, every business entity is expected to attract consumers by offering high-quality products at competitive prices. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and price on purchase intention. Methods: The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, also known as judgmental sampling. Based on this method, the sampling criteria included active students of SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Badung in the 2024 academic period. A total of 100 students were selected as respondents. Data were processed and analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software. Results: The results of the data analysis indicate that product quality (X1) has a positive and significant partial effect on purchase intention (Y). Similarly, price (X2) also shows a positive and significant partial effect on purchase intention (Y). Simultaneously, product quality (X1) and price (X2) have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (Y). Conclusion: The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for future research and provide positive contributions toward the development and improvement of the Teaching Factory (TEFA) program at SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Badung in the future.

Abstract

Introduction: Pedawa Tourism Village in Buleleng Regency is a Bali Aga village that preserves a rich cultural heritage. One of its most significant cultural assets is the Bandung Rangki Traditional House, which embodies architectural, spiritual, social, and philosophical values of the Bali Aga community and has the potential to be developed as a cultural heritage tourism attraction. Methods: This study employed a qualitative research approach. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with traditional house owners, and literature review. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings reveal that the Bandung Rangki Traditional House represents strong local wisdom reflected in its architectural form, spatial layout based on the hulu–teben concept, and multifunctional interior integrating residential, domestic, and sacred functions. Storytelling analysis using the 5W+1H approach highlights narratives related to historical origins, social structure, cultural traditions, and moral, religious, educational, and ethical values. These narratives enhance visitors’ understanding of the house as a living cultural heritage. Conclusion: The study concludes that storytelling plays a crucial role in strengthening the cultural meaning of the Bandung Rangki Traditional House and enhancing its attractiveness as a sustainable cultural heritage tourism asset. Integrating storytelling into heritage interpretation supports the development of Pedawa Tourism Village as a culturally based and sustainable tourism destination.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia possesses rich cultural diversity that serves as a key asset in the development of cultural heritage tourism, particularly in Bali Province, where cultural tourism is the core of tourism development. Goa Gajah, located in Bedulu Village, Gianyar Regency, is a cultural heritage site that functions as a living monument as well as a tourist attraction. This study aims to examine the cultural heritage potential of Goa Gajah and analyze its development as a cultural heritage tourism attraction. Methods: This research employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving members of the local tourism awareness group (Kelompok Sadar Wisata). Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. Results: The findings indicate that Goa Gajah possesses high historical, religious, archaeological, and spiritual values, reflected in the presence of meditation caves, Hindu–Buddhist statues, reliefs, ancient bathing pools, and religious functions that remain active to this day. The development of Goa Gajah tourism is carried out through an integrative approach involving collaboration between the local government, the Cultural Heritage Preservation Authority, and the local community, with a strong emphasis on conservation principles. Conclusion: The development of Goa Gajah as a cultural heritage tourism attraction has significant potential to support sustainable tourism, strengthen local cultural identity, and provide social and economic benefits for the local community while maintaining the preservation of cultural heritage assets.

Abstract

Introduction: Ubud is one of the districts in Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. Tourism development in Ubud District has great potential to develop accommodation businesses such as Hotels, Villas, Resorts, and one of them is the Adiwana Suweta Hotel located on Jalan Suweta, Ubud. The large number of competitors plus there are statements that are less than satisfactory for guests where the price is too expensive and the facilities are not optimal. This can certainly have a negative impact on the Adiwana Suweta Hotel, because in the hotel business the level of guest satisfaction is very important. This study aims to determine the room price on the decision to stay, hotel facilities partially on the decision to stay, and the room price and hotel facilities influence the decision to stay. Methods: The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using research tools in the form of questionnaires given to consumers of the Adiwana Suweta Hotel. Sampling in this study amounted to 104 respondents. Results: The results of the study show that; (1) Price simultaneously has a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay at the Adiwana Suweta Hotel; (2) Facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay at the Adiwana Suweta Hotel; and (3) Price and facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay at the Adiwana Suweta Hotel. Conclusion: Suggestions for further research using a qualitative approach, such as in-depth interviews regarding the reasons behind guests' decisions to stay and adding new variables will provide a more comprehensive picture.

Abstract

Introduction: Bali is one of the leading tourist destinations with rapid growth in the accommodation sector, creating intense competition among lodging providers, including Larose Villa and Suites Camp Canggu, which has experienced fluctuations in occupancy rates. This study aims to analyze the effect of facilities and pricing on tourists’ interest in staying at the villa. Methods: This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 100 respondents selected through non-probability sampling, consisting of guests who had stayed at the villa. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The results show that facilities have a positive and significant effect on tourist interest (t = 5.969; p < 0.05), and pricing also has a positive and significant effect (t = 5.301; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, facilities and pricing significantly influence tourist interest (F = 66.922; p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination of 57.1%. Conclusion: Improving facility quality and implementing competitive pricing strategies are essential to increase tourists’ intention to stay and enhance occupancy rates.
