Abstract

The Warehouse Management System (WMS) is software designed to assist in managing and monitoring warehouse processes. The purpose of this research is to improve warehouse operational management by developing a WMS using the Extreme Programming method and implementing a monitoring system to display real-time temperature and humidity measurements. The research addresses issues observed in the warehouse operations of PT. Shippindo Teknologi Logistik (Shipper), a warehouse rental services company. The problems identified in Shipper's warehouse operations largely stem from human errors. Hence, this research aims to provide a viable solution to reduce human errors by implementing various management processes, including inbound and outbound management and tracking, as well as visualizing product placement within the racks using rack maps. Additionally, the integration of a temperature and humidity monitoring system in the warehouse helps monitor the warehouse's condition in real-time. Testing using the black-box method for WMS in this research was successful, demonstrating that the system can execute all functions and display temperature and humidity data as per the designed specifications (inbound, mapping, storage, temperature and humidity monitoring, outbound). The average error in temperature and humidity measurements is relatively low, with 0.9% for temperature and 1.3% for humidity. However, further development is still required to enhance the system for better performance. This includes creating a more robust model for product detection labeling on the storage page to improve label accuracy and developing control systems for advanced temperature and humidity monitoring.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology drives the need for a system that can help tourists in determining the choice of tourist destinations that suit their preferences. The Loka Travel application was developed as a web-based platform that provides various tour packages and is equipped with a recommendation system to suggest relevant destinations for users. This study aims to design and implement a tour package recommendation system using the Collaborative Filtering method with a memory-based approach. This method works by calculating the similarity between users based on their rating or booking history for tour packages, allowing the system to suggest packages that are preferred by other users who have similar preferences. The cosine similarity algorithm is used in the process of calculating the similarity between users, with interaction data obtained from booking and payment activities in the application. The implementation of this system is carried out using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The results of the system test show that the system is able to provide recommendations with an accuracy level of 80.63%, based on the calculation of Mean Absolute Error (MAE). Thus, this system can help users find suitable tourist destinations and improve their experience in using the Loka Travel application.

Abstract

Improving the UI/UX quality of Lazatto's website is important given the role of digital interfaces in attracting and retaining customers in the modern era. Lazatto, as a fast food brand, faces challenges in interface design, such as unintuitive navigation and lack of satisfying user experience, which could potentially reduce its competitiveness. Therefore, the User Centered Design (UCD) method was chosen to address these issues due to its focus on putting the user's needs and experience as the top priority. The method involves several stages, namely user needs analysis, wireframe and prototype-based solution design, and iterative evaluation through live user testing. The implementation resulted in a new design with five main features. Based on usability testing involving six different scenarios, the highest Usability Score was obtained in scenario 1 with a score of 4.27, signifying user success and a clear interface, while scenario 2 recorded the lowest score (3.89) due to challenges with visual clarity. The average scenario completion time was consistent at 3.85 with a high average visual clarity across all scenarios, indicating that the interface was generally perceived as clear by users. These optimization results confirm the importance of UCD implementation in improving user experience while also providing. Keywords— Lazatto, UI/UX, User Centered Design

Abstract

Many users face significant challenges when trying to select the most suitable moisturizer for their skin. This difficulty often arises due to the overwhelming variety of available products on the market, combined with a lack of personalized information that could guide users toward the best choice. To address this issue, the present study aims to develop a recommendation system based on the Content-Based Filtering approach, which is specifically designed to align the benefits of moisturizer products with the unique needs of users' skin types. The data for this study were collected manually from 17 moisturizer products featured on the Sociolla e-commerce platform. Each product was carefully analyzed according to the descriptive information provided, including the benefits claimed and the skin types for which the product is recommended. The methodology involved several important steps: preprocessing the text from product descriptions, applying TF-IDF to assign term weights, and calculating cosine similarity scores between the user’s skin profile and product attributes. The analysis revealed that products such as D10 and D6, which yielded the highest similarity values, are strongly aligned with particular skin types. The resulting system demonstrates its ability to generate relevant and personalized product suggestions without the need for prior user preference data. This study concludes that using descriptive content as the foundation for recommendation logic can significantly enhance accuracy and targeting. Future enhancements may involve expanding the product database, integrating user-generated reviews, and leveraging machine learning techniques to produce even more adaptive and intelligent recommendations.
