Abstract

Discipline is one of the key indicators of educational success because it reflects students' compliance with institutional regulations, sense of responsibility, and the implementation of Islamic values in their daily lives. Therefore, effective Islamic educational management strategies are required to optimize the development of student discipline. This study aims to analyze Islamic educational management strategies in improving student discipline at modern Islamic boarding schools. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The validity of the data was ensured through triangulation.The findings indicate that Islamic educational management strategies were implemented through the planning of disciplinary programs, the organization of educators' and dormitory supervisors' responsibilities, the continuous implementation of character development through habituation and exemplary behavior, as well as the application of educational rewards and sanctions. In addition, consistent supervision and collaboration among school leaders, teachers, dormitory supervisors, and parents contributed to the establishment of a culture of discipline within the boarding school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic character education in Islamic Religious Education learning at the secondary school level, covering the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and the factors influencing its success. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from various sources, including books, scientific journal articles, previous research findings, and other relevant documents, and were analyzed using content analysis through the processes of theme identification, data categorization, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic character education is integrated into the planning stage by incorporating Islamic character values into learning objectives, teaching materials, instructional methods, learning media, and assessment. During the implementation stage, Islamic character education is carried out through teachers' role modeling (uswah hasanah), habituation of religious practices, integration of character values into learning materials, and the application of instructional strategies that promote cooperation, responsibility, and social awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of digital marketing on consumer purchasing decisions in Sharia-based businesses. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of consumers who had purchased products from Sharia-based businesses, while the sample included 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity, reliability, and normality tests, followed by simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R²) using SPSS software. The findings indicate that digital marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions in Sharia-based businesses. The more effective the implementation of digital marketing through social media, websites, online marketplaces, and content marketing, the greater the likelihood that consumers will make purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the implementation of Sharia principles such as honesty, transparency, and ethical business practices in digital marketing activities enhances consumer trust, which ultimately strengthens purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how Shariah auditor competence, auditor independence, and Shariah audit quality are constructed in shaping the quality of financial reporting in Islamic Commercial Banks. A qualitative approach with a hermeneutic phenomenological method within an interpretive paradigm was employed. Participants were selected purposively and consisted of internal Shariah auditors, external auditors, Shariah Supervisory Board members, accounting managers and staff, compliance managers, and operational management. The findings reveal four major themes: Shariah auditor competence, auditor independence, Shariah audit quality, and the construction of financial reporting quality. Auditor competence is interpreted as the integration of technical expertise, Shariah knowledge, and professional experience, while auditor independence reflects objectivity grounded in integrity and trustworthiness (amanah). The interaction of these dimensions enhances Shariah audit quality by strengthening internal control, Shariah compliance, and financial reporting transparency. This study concludes that financial reporting quality is constructed through the integration of auditor competence, auditor independence, Shariah audit quality, and the internalization of Islamic values within Shariah governance.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to restore critical urban and coastal ecosystems while instilling a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-based entrepreneurship mindset among academic community members. The program was conducted at the Canal Urban Forest in Medan on June 22, 2026, and the Coastal Area of Deli Serdang Regency on June 23, 2026. The method integrated Community-Based Development (Comdev) and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approaches through three stages: preparation, action-oriented planting with educational briefings, and sustainability evaluation. Target participants comprised the STIM Sukma Medan team (lecturers and students), coastal residents, urban forest visitors, and officers from the Ministry of Public Works. Results demonstrated the successful planting of 600 trees (100 shade trees and 500 mangrove seedlings) with an initial survival rate exceeding 85%, transformed mindsets toward impact-oriented entrepreneurship, and strengthened cross-sectoral collaboration.

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity aims to increase public legal awareness regarding the protection of women and children through legal counseling carried out synergistically between universities and the Population Control, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service of Gunungsitoli City. The methods used include interactive lectures, discussions, questions and answers, presentation of case studies, and evaluation of the level of understanding of participants before and after the activity. The counseling material includes the rights of women and children, forms of violence, reporting mechanisms, and legal protection efforts based on applicable laws and regulations. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the legal rights of women and children, the ability to recognize forms of violence, and knowledge regarding reporting mechanisms and institutions authorized to provide protection.

Abstract

This study examines how social attractiveness, perceived similarity, and trustworthiness influence purchase intention, mediated by parasocial interaction. Adopting a case study design, data were collected from 203 active Instagram followers of Indonesian reviewer Fadil Jaidi using purposive sampling and analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results indicate that perceived similarity and trustworthiness positively affect parasocial interaction, which subsequently drives purchase intention. Furthermore, parasocial interaction significantly mediates the relationships of perceived similarity and trustworthiness with purchase intention. Conversely, social attractiveness has no significant effect on purchase intention and is not mediated by parasocial interaction. These findings underscore the critical role of psychological ties between reviewers and followers in shaping consumer purchase behavior on social media platforms.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of implementing a Digital Pharmacy Queueing System on patient satisfaction among those receiving pharmacy services at the Cakranegara Primary Health Center. A quantitative study using a one-group pre-test/post-test pre-experimental design was conducted, involving 100 patients receiving pharmacy services. Patient satisfaction was measured before and after the implementation of the Digital Pharmacy Queueing System using the Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the implementation of the Digital Pharmacy Queueing System significantly increased patient satisfaction at the Cakranegara Primary Health Center pharmacy unit. The digitalization of pharmacy services is an effective strategy for enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care in primary health facilities.
