Abstract

Abstract - The development of coffee-shops on campus is no longer limited to their function as a place of consumption, but also plays a role as a space for brand identity formation and social experiences for students. This study aims to analyze the brand equity of Malikah Coffee Shop UNIDA Gontor in shaping student consumer preferences. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through observation, semi-structured interviews with students as consumers, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Malikah Coffee Shop's brand awareness is formed naturally through its proximity and intensity of use by students. Brand association is more interpreted as a functional image that represents a quiet and comfortable study space, while perceived quality is perceived mainly from the aspects of comfort and service quality. Student brand loyalty to Malikah Coffee Shop tends to be pragmatic and habit-based, so it has not yet fully developed into emotional loyalty. This study concludes that brand equity management that is in line with the character of the pesantren campus culture plays an important role in shaping consumer preferences and has the potential to increase student loyalty in sustainable manner.

Abstract

Abstract - This study examines sycophancy as a pervasive pathology in contemporary Indonesian political communication. Employing a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach, we analyze how political actors construct discourses of absolute loyalty and excessive praise to build and sustain power. Drawing on data from political speeches, media coverage, and social media interactions during the 2019–2024 period, the research reveals that sycophantic discourse systematically erodes public accountability, suppresses substantive policy debate, and perpetuates a deeply entrenched patronage culture. The findings demonstrate that sycophancy transforms political communication from a deliberative tool into a ritual of power consolidation, thereby undermining democratic quality. This study contributes to theoretical understanding by showing how informal cultural practices—rooted in feudal and colonial legacies—are formalized into pathological political discourse. The article concludes with recommendations for strengthening democratic resilience and promoting critical public dialogue in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract - Abstracts are written briefly and factually briefly stated research objectives, main results and main conclusions. Abstracts are often presented separately from the article, so it should be able to stand alone. Therefore, references should be avoided, but if necessary, the quotation must be complete. Non-standard or unusual abbreviations should be avoided, but if necessary it should be defined in their first mention in the abstract itself. Abstracts are written in italic, space 1, size 11, Font Book Antiqua also include keywords. The number of words for abstract is min. 150-200 words, which contains problems, goals, methods, and results. While the keywords maximum of five words that reflect the contents of the script. Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of five keywords, avoid general and plural terms and many concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'from'). Abstract

Abstract - The development of digital information systems brings an increased risk of cybersecurity threats that impact data integrity, individual privacy, and public trust (Febiola, 2023). This study aims to examine risk management practices and security policy frameworks applied to securing digital information systems (Saputra, 2025). The study utilized a literature review by analyzing journals, books, government regulations, and information security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST SP 800-30 (Arifnur, 2023). The findings indicate that digital security relies on three main aspects: risk identification and assessment, implementation of preventive and mitigating controls, and structured policy governance (Harefa & Hartomo, 2022). Public data leaks and public disinformation are high-probability risks that require mitigation through encryption, dual authentication, and media monitoring (BSSN, 2022). Risk management and information security policies are essential foundations for maintaining data integrity and public trust (Zulfitra, 2023). Further research is recommended to use an empirical case study approach (Nadiya et al., 2024).

Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational communication climate on employee loyalty at PT. Familia Indo Sejahtera, both partially and in terms of the magnitude of the influence (Pace & Faules, 2015; Pandey & Khare, 2012). The method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory type (Sugiyono, 2017). The population is 259 employees, with a sample of 73 respondents calculated using the Taro Yamane formula (e = 10%) (Siregar & Siregar, 2013). The purposive sampling technique (Sugiyono, 2016). The online questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale of 1–4 has been tested for validity (r table = 0.230) and reliability (Cronbach's Alpha X = 0.892; Y = 0.788). Data analysis uses Pearson correlation, simple linear regression, and coefficient of determination (Kuncoro, 2013). Pearson correlation = 0.968 (very strong/positive, p <0.01); Regression equation Y = 6.739 + 0.321X; R² = 0.937; t count = 32.539 (p=0.000). Organizational communication climate explains 93.7% of the variance in employee loyalty (Robbins & Judge, 2017). The dimensions of trust, shared decision-making, honesty, downward openness, upward listening, and attention to high-performance goals are crucial in building loyalty (Pace & Faules, 2015). Companies are advised to maintain open communication and communication training for managers. This study fills the gap in studies on organizational communication climate in medium-sized retail companies in Indonesia with high turnover rates.
